Ryans pov**
I took a deep breath and faced my mother. She could still see me and I could still see her exept part of her face hidden by a bush.
I held out my hand slightly and jay reached over and interlocked our fingers. He pulled me close and we began to walk up the pathway. When we get to the top of the stairs a awkward silence fills the air.
Awkward.
Moms lover clears his throat. I glare at him. "Hi I don't think we have had the proper type of introducing. My name is kayen Wittle." He says standing and holding out his hand. I glare at him.
Did he....did he just....oh hell no. Who the hell does he think he is?!?!
I snort at him and he glared at me. I roll my eyes and glare back.
"You don't do that shit with me. I don't put up with it. You don't just choke me, slam me into the floor, punch me and then expect that we are going to be all buddy buddy?!?!? HELL NO! That is so stupid! How can you think that?!? You made me hate my own mother! I don't even think I can do this! You know what. Fuck this I'm leaving." He glares at me and mom flinches and I can see the tears form in her eyes.
It is his fault.
I. Blame. Him.
I turn to leave when Jay tugs at my arm. I turn to glare at him and I feel my gaze soften once I see those big Hazel doe eyes staring back at me. Begging me to stay.
Dammit. How can I say no to those eyes?
I sigh.
He smiles and pulls me infront of him. His head resting on my head and his arms wrapped around my waist. I leaned into his embrace.
He calmed me down. Don't know how he just did. Oh well.
"I think we should go inside." Mother says and walks into the house.
I follow after her. We sit in a big room with two couches. I ignore every thing else about it. I look up to see kayen glaring at me. I glare back until I hear a growl. I look back surprised to see Jay giving a death glare to kayen.
He pulled me in his lap and I blush.
"I think it would be best for you to go upstairs hun." My mom says and I growl.
I slap my hand over my mouth.
What the hell was that?!?! It was nothing....ignore it!
I shake it off.
Kayen walks up the stairs. And mom turns to me. "I am half witch half mermaid. Your dad was half werewolf half demon. You are a mix of all four. We just call you a manupis. Your sister is just a mermaid/ witch. She inherited from me. Since you was first born you got all the genes. I met kayen at the store he turns out to be my mate. I loved your father. I still do. But I also love kayen. And a mate is a wolf thing it means soul mate. I will let Jay explain everything else. And I will go make lemonade...oh but before I do your first shift into wolf will be tomorrow on your birth day. You will also get all the powers with the mermaid, witch, and demon at night tomorrow. Love you bye" she practically ran to the kitchen.
I just stood there opening and closing my mouthike a fish.
What the fuck. I didn't know whether to laugh out loud or cry. Or just scream.
Jay took a deep breath.
"We are mates. I knew when I first saw you. You was a light in a dark spot. I am next in line alpha. You will be the Luna of the pack. I..um...don't know about your other half's. But I do know this. I will love you no matter what. You are the best thing that ever happened to me. And I will love you no matter what." He said and tears were forming in his eyes.
He lied to me. He didn't want to just be my friend. Not even just my boyfriend. He...he....he said that he was human...well he didn't say it but he didn't say against it. What happened to no secrets? What happened to be careful that my heart is broken? I should have seen his comeing. I could feel tears start to form in my eyes but he rushed on.
"I'm sorry I had to lie. But there is another thing. Packs have a pack link where we can hear each other in our minds. And mates have a bond to. We can hear each others thoughts." He stopped and wiped his eyes.
Can you hear me?
I yelped. Holy shit that voice was his?
Oh and you can hear your inner wolf. He will help you. It is like a consince. Are you mad at me?
"Stop doing that! And no I'm not mad at you! I'm glad that you lied to me. That you...you used me." I say and jump off of him. It takes a second for him to realize that I was sarcastic. He grabs my arm.
And look at me with doe eyes. No not this time. I force my eyes away. And yank my arm out of his. "Please! No don't do this! I need you!" He yelled behind me. I could hear a howl in pain and took off running to the side.
No no no no no no no no no. I won't do this I won't have him apologize and then lie to me again. I told him to be careful with my heart. It wasn't a toy. It was broken. He had almost fixed it. I was happy! But then it all shattered with one little lie.
I am so pathetic. I need....I need...I need.... What do I need? Something to help. But what can help me like a time like this?!?!

A razor.
Jays pov***
When he left I felt my heart break a little and my wolf howled in pain.
Our mate is gone.
I feel a tear slip out.
He is gone he hates us. He dosent want us.
More tears slip out as I fall to my knees.
I hear footsteps and his mom walks into the room.
She sighs. "Oh hun, its OK. He is just sad. You might want to watch him though he gets depressed easily." Her small smile faulterd.
I jumped up and ran out the door. I jumped up in the air and shifted mid air.
The sound of clothes ripping and bones shifting filled my ears.
My bones cracked and rearranged. Black fur sprouted all over and my nose got longer. My teeth sharper. My eyes smaller. And I winced at the pain. Two months after your first shift you kind of get used to it. But it still hurts like a bitch.
I leap down the stairs and stand still. I look at the sky for a second.
We're would my little mate go?
To the cabin or the woods?
To the lake house?
I would sniff him out but my nose is stuffy and I can't smell right. I decide to go to the pack house first.
As I run I get on mind link. Picturing reko the next in line gammie, and start to talk to him. 'Gammie I want all eyes out for my mate. He has blue eyes black hair. About 5'6 and is pissed off. Look for his sister Mabel.'
'Yes alpha.' I hear him say to me. Since I decide that it is already taken care if that they look for him at the pack house I decide to check the town.
I run towards town. I stay in the tree line but will be able to sense if he is there. Nope. I run back to the cabin. 'No alpha mate here sir!' Reko sent to me. 'Thank you gammie." I sent back to him.
As I get closer to the house I smell blood. What the hell. Oh no.....he didn't....please no!
I run faster and shift mid air again. I run up the stairs and start upstairs. I hear him groan from the bathroom and beat on the door. Please tell me I am wrong......please.....
Ryans pov**(this is short but will tell you what happened)
When I got to the cabin I ran upstairs and locked the bathroom. Jay didn't throw out the razors yet so I grab one and start to cut.
I groan as pain shoots up my arm.
Suddenly I am squirted in the face with blood. I look down in confusion. I see that I have cut too deep. My eyes go wide as I try to stop the blood. Suddenly I realize that all my pain can be over. That I will be fine. Dead. No pain......no pain... I sit back and let the cuts do their magic.
Suddenly the door is kicked in and Jay rushes in. When he sees me he stops. The first thing I notice is that he is stark naked.
I blush and mumble a soft, "Wy the hell are you naked?" I feel dizzyness take me and I pass out. Good bye cruel world. Good bye love.... Mate.
Goodbye pain...
I love you Jay....
I let the black surround me.
