Colleen POV
"You didn't say anything did you?" I ask Rachel as I come down the hall holding onto the wall. "No, but he wants you to call him back" Rachel says. "I will in a bit" I say as I plop down on the couch and close my eyes. "Did you take it?" Rachel asks. I nod not opening my eyes. "Whats wrong Mommy?" Lily asks as she crawls beside me. "Mommy isn't feeling good baby" I say smiling at her touching her cheek. She nods and cuddles beside me. "Want me to go look?" Rachel asks. I nod. I hear Rachel come back down the hall. I open my eyes and look up at her. "Congrats!" She says leaning into me. "You are kidding!?!?" I say standing up. She shakes her head no and pulls the pregnancy test out from behind her back to show me. "One time it happened without... One time" I say shocked. Rachel hugs me tight. "Rachel the doctor told me no more babies. It's too hard on my system" I whisper. "Josh is going to be upset" I say. "Things will work out" she says smiling. I nod and smile not believing what is happening. "Mommy can we call Daddy?" Lily asks. "Yes babe" I say as I grab for my phone and face time him. It rings and he picks up on the second ring. "Lily!" Josh says as Lily holds my phone smiling. "Hi Daddy" she says beaming. I smile just watching her. "Have a good bath?" He asks. Oh god I panic as that was just an excuse as I took the test and threw up a couple times. "I didn't have a ..." Lily says before I grab the phone. "Hi baby" I say trying to change the subject as Rachel glares at me off camera laughing at me stumbling. "Hey sweetheart... Whats going on?" He asks. "Nothing much" I say. "Colleen you look pale babe" he says. "Getting a cold" I say. "Will you be ok to come here in two days?" He asks. "Yes of course" I say. We continue talking for a couple more minutes before hanging up. I look down at Lily who is watching TV. Rachel starts laughing. "She almost blew it for you" Rachel says talking about Lily. "I know" I say as I ruffle Lily's hair. I get up and walk over to the kitchen and grab a tea for Rachel and I and walk back to the living room. "One time Rachel. One time" I say still in shock. "Thats all it takes sometimes" she says. "Will Josh be ok after the initial shock?" She asks. "I think he will be terrified" I say leaning back. She nods. "Well lets see what the doctor says tomorrow" she says. I nod.
The next day I go see my doctor as Rachel watches the kids. "Hey Colleen! How can I help you?" My doctor says. I tell him I am pregnant. "Colleen I thought I explained everything last time. Its too much on your system and especially so close after Noah" he says looking upset which terrifies me. "We weren't trying. The condom broke one time" I say getting upset. "Ok don't get upset" he says as he watches me cry. He examines me and does all the normal tests. "Well looks like you are due just a month before Noah's birthday" he says. "Colleen please don't take this the wrong way but maybe we should terminate the pregnancy ? " he asks watching my reaction. "Need to talk to Joshua" I say as he nods. "You are about 5 weeks. You and Joshua talk about it and let me know as soon as possible" he says. I slide off the exam table in a daze.... What am I going to do?
