My phone died when I was finishing editing... Welp. Anyways, enjoy!

Radiance Collins' POV
Numb.
That's basically how I feel everyday since nine.
I don't feel pain anymore.
I no longer feel.
My sides hurt. But yet I feel nothing. Just its stinging sensation.
I was already late, considering I was suppose to be cooking lunch now. But I don't care anymore. Ever since he left, I no longer feel. I don't care about anything anymore, except about myself.
Shame, really.
When I got closer to the neighborhood filled with constant howls at night, murmurs became significantly louder.
The police were crowding around my hell hole. Curious, I got closer to take a better peek at it.
I casually walked under the yellow banner which wrote 'DO NOT CROSS' but I don't really care.
It's my hell hole.
"Who are you? You are not allowed to enter without permission."
"I live here. What happened?"
"Brenda and Judah Collins were murdered." And that may or may not have been one of the best news I've ever received in my life.
But where am I going to go now?
In another three months, I'd be eighteen.
Not that I'm complaining about their sudden deaths. I don't care who murdered them. They'd done me a favor indirectly.
"Whatever. I'm just going to grab my stuff and move out."
"Miss, you can't!" I ignored their protests, and walked up the stairs.
I entered the room, not knowing how to feel about it.
'I will find you, and I will kill you.'
Fear? No. Creepy? Definitely.
It was written in blood, which I do not plan on finding out whose it belongs to.
The room's still neat, the walls were just smeared with blood.
Sighing, I got out my escape bag and packed some decent clothes. I took my slippers, they're easy to wear. There were only a few pieces of decent clothing, so it wouldn't fill up the whole bag. I grabbed all my undergarments. My eyes landed onto a photo.
A photo I found somewhere. I'd kept it because he was cute. His tongue was stuck out, posing the the photo. I shoved the photo into the pocket of my worn out jeans.
I've hidden some money under my bed. Hopefully no one took them. I walked over to my made bed. Thankfully, the money was still under the mattress.
Those were savings from being a waitress at a restaurant called "The Ruck's Burger"
I had really great colleagues, guess I'd have to leave them behind.
Shoving the stashes of money into my quarter-filled escape bag, I closed my eyes.
Where will I go now?

"Thank you so much." I gave the grouchy lady a tight smile. She blinked at me, and went back doing whatever she was doing.
This is what happens when you try to be nice.
Looking at the clock, it was five past eleven. The train comes at half past six. Sighing, I took a seat somewhere, feeling honestly bored out of my mind.
My eyes widened a little in recognition. Isn't that Sarah?
Long story short, she'd told me she's my aunt. Not that I bought her story or anything, but she's pretty chill.
"Hey Sarah!" I shouted out, ignoring the looks I got from people.
I know I'm pretty.
Her face lit up, and there's a glint I didn't quite catch. "I was hoping I'd find you here."
"How-"
"I heard what happened back there. Do you have a place to stay?" I shook my head. "Great! I mean, oh. You can crash at my place till you find a place to stay." She smiled, but that didn't quite reach her eyes.
"Will I be bothering you and Caden?" She shook her head, showing me that they don't mind.
"He likes you enough anyway." She noticed the ticket I was holding. "Great! Even the ticket you bought is towards where I live."
I offered her a seat beside me which she gladly accepted. She can be creepy at times.
The first time we met was at the bookstore. She apologized with my name in it when we accidentally bumped into each other...
It did look like she was stalking me.
Whatever. She's nice.
The train came after a while and I got on, all I want to do was to sleep.

No alarm clocks?
I swear these days just keep getting better.
I opened my left eye, then closed it.
Not now.
Silently groaning, I realized I had to think of what to do to spend this wonderful Thursday morning.
I got up, my feet touching the cold hard floor. Goosebumps appeared on my legs.
I like the feeling of goosebumps.
I made the new toothbrush Sarah had put in the bathroom wet, then applied some toothpaste on it and rinse it again, making it wet.
Brush brush brush brush brush.
I stopped. I can use some book shopping today.
I grinned at my own reflection, foam threatening to drip. I immediately closed my mouth so the foam didn't threaten to escape.
Attractive, Radiance. Real attractive.
After wiping my face with a towel, I made sure I brought some money and the keys that was on the desk.
The room was pretty plain. And it should maintain that way.
Double checking that I'd brought some money and keys with me, I left the house.

I think I understand why I read so much. I've never really made friends. Not since he left. Books have been my companions ever since.
I bought 'Nightshade', written by Andrea Cremer. I'd read it on the way back. It's about some kind of fight happening over something.
The Guardians were sort of the Keeper's pets, and they can even shift into wolves! That's cool!
I also conveniently bought potato chips from the convenient store. Haha! I swear I'm the most punny girl you'd ever meet.
Joking! I'm really lame.
I ripped open the potato chips, munching onto them hungrily.
What? I didn't eat lunch and dinner yesterday. While munching, I stared at the white wall, wondering what life had in stored for me.
I looked out of the window. I've always had a thing for sunsets.
I could see the sun setting from afar.
Time passes fast. Next thing you know, I'd be in a creepy abandoned house somewhere deep in the forest, sixty with eighty cats living with me.

"I got you something." Sarah squealed, as if she was the one receiving the gift.
"What is it?" I stared at the strange rectangular box. It wrote 'Iphone 6s' and a bitten apple on it. I've never seen it in my life.
Because you don't have one, Radiance.
Oh, right.
"It's a phone! So we can contact each other! Here, I'll teach you how to use it! Oh and tomorrow we are going shopping!"
Great.
