I was with Annalise and Emma because apparently I need to go shopping before a date. I texted them about it yesterday and they decided that they're going out with me to go shopping.
"What about this dress?" Annalise pointed out a blue dress that was strapless and had a mermaid tail at the end. To be honest I wasn't the kind of girl who liked heels or dress, they just weren't my thing.
I felt that heels were meant to run in and dresses felt weird since the air always flowed under my dress. That just made me feel uncomfortable all the time.
Jeans was my thing and I'll deal with tights if I have to but then again that's just me. Most of the girls my age have 20 dresses with 40 pairs of heels but not me, I'm special!
"Okay Alex what do you like to wear?" Emma asked me as I watch Annalise wonder around the shop holding up every dress she can find and then asking me if I liked the dress. She was always energetic and I think it might be the coffee that's doing that to her.
"Anything but a dress." They both stared at me with a blank face as they then look at each other.
"Why didn't you say that earlier? Why are we even in this shop?" Annalise ask as she grabbed both of us and pulled us to a shop a few blocks down. "Here we go!"
The shop was called 'KiKi' inside was street styled clothes which I have to admit was really cool.
Annalise pulled out a black and red flannel as Emma pulled out a pair of ripped light blue jeans. Suddenly they pushed me into a changing room and added a collared shirt that was sleeveless and had a laced back to the shirt.
I walked out of the changing room and standing outside was Emma and Annalise. "Give me a twirl honey." Annalise told me as I twirled for her as she clapped.
Emma gave me a long stare as she judges my outfit. She looked at my old pair of converse as she picked out a sized 8 new pair of converse from the back of the store.
The Converse were black and white high-tops with mini doodles on them which were really neat. Annalise gave when to the counter and gave the lady her credit card.
"Annalise you don't have to, I can pay by myself." I told her but she just ended paying for my clothes.
"For the tea." She said with a smile as she got her credit card back from the employee.
We walked down the street until Annalise stopped us for a second, she stared at the shop. 'Crepes That Smiled' was the name of the shop, I pulled Emma and Annalise inside.
They both sat down at a table as I order some crepes for them. "1 chocolate hazelnut fruit crepe, 1 vanilla crepe, and 1 strawberry crepe please for table 3." I ordered from the lady.
I payed for the crepes and walked to the table where Emma and Annalise sat talking.
"Are you excited for your date?" Annalise asked me as I nodded.
"Your so lucky Alex, I've been inviting Kevin out for a date for the couple of days and he always says she's 'busy'." Emma told me and Annalise as she takes a big bite of her crepe and looks at us.
"Do you know what he's been doing for the past month?" Annalise asked but Emma just shook her head.
I touched her hand to ensure her," I'm sure he's doing something important, maybe he's making something for you." I told her as she just replied," I hope your right."
Beep! My phone had a notification and I opened it,"Where are you I'm coming to pick you up?" Edwin texted me.
"Crepe That Smiles down on Cinnamon street." I texted him back.
A little bit later the door opened and the bell ranged ,ding! There was Edwin with his black pants and white t-shirt. He also had on a leather jacket on top of his white t-shirt.
"Hey." He smiled at me and waved when he walked into the small crepe shop. I immediately stood up when I saw him, I was surprised that he got here so fast.
"Hey Edwin. " I said to him with a smile as I walk toward him. "Sorry, I have to go." I told Emma and Annalise as they gave me a giant smirk at the same time.
I walked next to him as we walked out of the shop, "You look gorgeous today." He told me.
"Thanks, you don't look too shabby yourself." I told him.
We got to a movie theater that had posters on the outside, it was advertising a couple of movies. There was a poster of a 'The Fault In Our Stars' with a girl and a boy.
"What do you want to watch?" Edwin asked me while facing me. "How about we watch 'The Fault In Our Stars', I heard that it's a great movie!" I relied to him with a giant smile as he stared at me.
He suddenly interlocked my hand with his hand it fit perfectly together like a key and a lock, I blushed a bit. He told me to sit inside of the Movie Theater and I did as he commanded. He got the us two tickets as we got into the movie room.
The advertisements soon came on a Edwin let go of my hand, I stared at my own hand as he left the room. I felt disappointed for a moment then a bush or pitched black hair appeared.
Edwin came back with a tray of food... Yum!! This is for the guys that try to get into a girl's heart, hint it's always food and food... Now did I mention food?
I immediate took the large blue raspberry Icee that was my favorite,"Thanks Edwin's!" I said to him as I took a large slip from the straw.
I held onto the cup in my lap as Edwin offered me some popcorn and I accepted it and took a few popcorns. He smiled as he grabbed the Icee cup from my lap and took a slip, I blushed.
Was it just me or does he not notice? It was an indirect kiss.
"What? Why are you looking at me so hard?" He asked me as I touch my lip, it was an indirect kiss. My mind just felt like it exploded for a second, it was mind blowing.
"Nothing." I said as I try not to blush so hard.
"I can tell your blushing." He commented about me as he cover my face with my hands. I opened some of my fingers that covered my eyes,"Is it really obvious?"
He nodded to my question, he suddenly wrapped his arm around me and his hand landed onto my shoulder. His arm made me lean my head into his shoulder.
The movie started soon...
Author here : If you've never seen the movie you just have to find it somewhere and watch it! It's amazing!
The movie ended and I was still leaning on Edwin's shoulder but it's just that I was crying. "The... *sobs* it's just so... *sobs* so amazing." I told Edwin in between sobs of tears.
"Yeah I agree but I didn't think you would cry." He said to me as I try to stop the tears from coming out but more tears ended up coming out. "I didn't think so either." I commented.
He chuckles at me then he started to pat my back repeatedly, he was trying to calm me down and it somehow worked. "Are you done with the tears?" He asked me as I nodded in reply.
"I'm emotional okay?"
"More then I expect you to be too."
"Everyone has emotions and feeling, even you." I stated at he looked at me for a while and the silence grew. "So did you like the movie? It was so romantic!" I stopped for a second thinking about love.
"What is love Edwin?" I asked him straight forward. He didn't have an answer at first but then it clicked into his head.
"Love is when you like someone, you want to be with them every second of the day. Your always wondering what they're doing and when I love someone they're special to you." He said as we continued to walk down the street.
"Why?" He added at the end.
"Well I was just wondering how it feels to love someone." I stated to him as he watch me walk ahead of him a little bit.
"I'm afraid to love someone, because I'm afraid of getting my heart broken." I told him truthfully this time, a flashback of the sadness that Roe suffered through cross my mind. I'm afraid that someone will break my heart like what Amanda did to Roe.
I'm scared...
"Love can do that to you..." My heart dropped for a second,"But it can also bring you a lot of happiness into your life. You just have to be careful a bit."
I smiled when he said that to me," Your a great therapist you know?" I told him as he gave me a questioned look.
"What?" I asked him with my eyebrows arched," I'm normal you know."
"Nope your just adorably weird." I blushed when he called me adorable.
"I'm not adorable at all, what's so adorable about me anyway?" I asked him.
"Everything from your smile to your eyes and backs to your personality." I playfully hit him in the arm as he chuckles at me.
"I'm glad that you don't show this side of you to anyone else but me." He said to me as he held my wrist then his hand touched my palm and our hands immediately interlocked together.
He took my hand that was interlocked with his and kissed it. "What are you thinking about right now?" He asked me with a smirk on his face.
"You of course." I answered short after.
We were next to a wall as he pushes me to the wall and pins me there. "I want you to be mine so bad." He whispered into my ear gently, my ears turned strawberry red.
He slowly leaned toward me as his forehead touched my forehead. "Your going to make my heart break, you know that Edwin?" I whispered to him quietly.
My right hand shifted to his chest but my left hand was still holding onto his hand. I could feel his heartbeat and it increases by the moment.
His soft lips touched my lips, we kissed and the moment felt like forever. My heart was about to burst... I might die!
Call 911 please!
Our lips aparted as we stared at each other for a second and we were both thinking the same think, we wanted more. So our lips connected once more...
I love Edwin... Wait I l-love Edwin?!?
What am I going to do? I think I fell in love with Edwin?!?!?
