||morning||
You sleepily walked to school, rubbing your eyes every so often. As you walked you suddenly heard a pair of footsteps coming your way.
You spun around with a bright smile to see Nagisa walking and talking to Kayano-chan.
Your heart beat froze and broke in your chest.
'Wh-What's this feeling? My chest hurts whenever I see Nagisa with Kayano. . . But why?' You thought as they both waved at you.
You forced a smile onto your face and raced over to them.
"Hey guys!" You chirped happily as you held your book bag behind your back in a cute manner.
"Hi!"
"Hey!"
"So do you wanna help me attempt to assassinate Koro-Sensei?" You asked with a smile.
Nagisa stared at you for awhile, while Kayano pressed a finger to her chin and thought for a few seconds.
"Meh, assassinating isn't really my thing sooo~ I'll have to pass," she replied with a small sigh.
"Yeah me neither, I need to focus more on my grades," Nagisa answered as he closed his eyes calmly.
"O-Oh Okay!" You tried to chirp happily. You tried hard not to yell or cry, but it grew really hard.
You felt as if you were about to explode when an arm was wrapped around your shoulder. Your face was pressed against a chest which made your eyes widen.
"Don't worry (Y/N) I'll assassinate him with you," cooed a sadistic voice.
"Karma?" You asked as you removed your face from his chest.
"Yep, the devil himself," Karma stated as he winked and stuck his tongue out.
"Whatever you say," you laughed as you ruffled his hair roughly.
Nagisa scratched the back of his head and looked away from you.
"Well sorry guys but me and Kayano have to get to class early to start on a project soo~ bye," Nagisa stated quickly as he grabbed Kayano's wrist and raced towards the school.
"Wait but I don't remember having a project assigned!" You yelled after them.
Karma removed his arm from around you and shoved his hands into his pockets.
"Hmm~ it seems that Nagisa is getting jealous," he murmured as he turned to you.
You raised and eyebrow a little confused.
"Jealous of what?" You asked as you walked alongside Karma.
"Well how strong our friendship is," he mumbled as he closed his eyes.
"E-Ehh?! But why?" You exclaimed as you held your book bag in front of you.
"I have no idea. . . But it may be the same reason whenever you see Kayano with Nagisa your heart hurts," Karma explained with a small smirk.
"What the?! How did you even know that?" You asked loudly.
Karma chuckled as you both approached the classroom.
"I could tell by the look on your face when Nagisa declined your assassination invitation," he stated with a smile.
"O-Oh," you murmured as you approached the school gate.
Karma stopped walking all of a sudden and turned to you.
"Hey, whenever you see Nagisa with Kayano, don't get jealous or mad. Just hang out with them so you can form a stronger relationship with Nagisa and Kayano," he explained as he ruffled your hair.
"Okay! . . . . WAIT did you say Jealous?!?!" You exclaimed as your face flushed pink.
"Yep, now C'mon! We're going to be late," Karma chuckled as you ran after him.
||lunch time||
After taking out your bento lunch and readying your chopsticks in your hands, you heard giggles and laughter.
You whipped your head to the side and spotted Nagisa and Kayano laughing and having a good time together. . . Which made your heart shatter.
'Ugh! My heart hurts again!' You thought angrily as you munched on some rice.
"Hey (Y/N)! Come sit over here!" Karma called you from the table Nagisa and Kayano were sitting at.
"O-Oh okay!" You called back in a slightly muffled voice.
You swallowed the rest of the rice in your mouth and brought your bento over to their table.
You sat down next to Karma while Nagisa and Kayano say across from you.
"Sooo~ did you guys finish that project you had to do in the morning?" You asked with a soft smile.
Nagisa looked down at the floor.
"W-Well it turned out that we actually didn't have a project to finish," he explained as he rubbed the back of his neck.
You felt as if you wanted to cry at that second.
'Wh-why did he avoid me this morning? Did he just wanna hang out with Kayano alone?' You thought as you stared down at your bento.
"Hey Nagisa! Wanna try my bento?" Kayano asked happily.
Nagisa thought for a while and then nodded.
Kayano picked up a sausage shaped like an octopus and held it in front of Nagisa.
"Say ahhh," she giggled as Nagisa opened his mouth.
He sweatdropped and did what he was told.
She placed her chopsticks into Nagisa's mouth and he chewed on the sausage octopus.
Your heart shattered again. . .
'That . . . Was . . An indirect kiss. . . 💔'
You thought as Kayano placed her chopsticks down.
"How'd it taste?" She asked with a smile.
Nagisa smiled back and chirped, "Good!"
That was all you could take. . .
You slammed your hands onto the table, causing Nagisa, Kayano, and Karma to look up at you.
Your bangs covered your eyes but tears were visible on your cheeks.
"Your so stupid Nagisa!!" You screamed as you hopped out of your seat and raced away with streaming tears.
Karma turned to Nagisa and Kayano, who seemed confused about what happened.
"Wh-What did I do?" Nagisa questioned as he watched you race away.
Karma sighed and face palmed.
"You two do realize that you had just done an indirect kiss right?" He muttered causing Kayano's eyes to widen.
"Ehh?! We did?!" She exclaimed as she looked down at her chopsticks.
"Oh glob! We did!" She exclaimed.
Nagisa quickly stood up out of his seat causing Karma and Kayano to look up at him.
"I-I have to go find (Y/N)," he mumbled as he raced off.
||in the classroom||
Your face was placed on top of your crossed arms on the desk as you cried. Koro-Sensei watched you sadly and muttered, "Oh dear."
You cried and cried as the scene you just saw replayed in your mind.
'They had an indirect kiss!!!! An indirect kiss!!! And they didn't even know!!!' You thought angrily as you cried.
You stifled your cries when you heard footsteps approaching you.
You looked up out of your crossed arms, to see Nagisa.
"Wh-What do you want?" You hissed as you whipped your head away from him.
Nagisa sighed and closed his eyes, while you raised an eyebrow.
"Listen I'm so sorry about what I just did. I didn't know that it was an indirect kiss and I should have thought about it first. . . I just hope you can forgive me," he apologized with a small smile.
"I-I forgive you Nagisa. . . I-I just wanted to be a closer friend to you. . Like Kayano and Karma," you murmured as you began to cry again.
Nagisa's eyes widened when he saw you cry. You looked so sad yet so beautiful when you cried.
Nagsia clenched his teeth, trying not to cry by seeing you cry. He walked closer to you and wrapped his arms around you, pulling your face into his chest.
You stifled your cries and looked up at Nagisa.
"Please don't cry," he mumbled as a tear slid out of his eye.
"You'll make me cry," he softly chuckled as he patted your head.
You nodded and wrapped your arms around Nagisa.
"Your so kind Nagisa," you murmured as you slightly squeezed him.
"Hehe I'm not, you are (Y/N)," he laughed as he pressed his head against yours.
You both stared into each other's eyes and smiled.
"I'm glad I met you," you both muttered at the same time.
