I smacked the alarm clock screaming in my ear at 6 o'clock in the morning and groaned. I sat up and buried my face in my hands. I got out of bed and went into Jael's room to wake her up for school.
"Jael?" I said shakin her. "Jael?"
"Huh?" She answered softly.
"Get up baby and get ready."
She wiped the slob off her mouth, stretched and hopped down. A few seconds later I heard her using the bathroom. I headed back to my room and curled up under the cover. Just when I was about to doze back off my phone went off in my ear. I checked it but it was just a notification. I rolled my eyes and put it on silent. Shortly after I dozed back off.
1 Hour Later...

My phone sang, signaling me that it's time to get up and get ready. I pressed the word 'Stop' on my phone's alarm and groaned as I rolled out of bed. As you can see I'm definitely not a morning person I checked my phone and saw a text from August.

I rubbed my hands down my face and walked in the bathroom. I decided to take a quick shower this morning and put on my song Lick by Cardi B and Offset. Like that is the slap. On me it is.
"We gone Stephanie!" I heard my mother yell.
I didn't say anything I went right back to my song. I had to put it on repeat. Thats how much I love this song.

Who in the hell has the audacity to call my phone in the middle of my song? I peeked out of the shower curtain. It was Odell. I wonder what did he want. Oh well I'll call him back when I'm done.
Shortly after that I got out the shower and searched for an outfit after putting on my undergarments.
"Hmm? What to wear? What to wear?" I ran my fingers down my clothes. I stopped at some black skinny jeans with small rips in them. A cream colored shirt that had the words, 'it's not mean if it's hilarious' definitely my shirt. As for my shoes, um.... black Timbs. I had my long dark brown hair straight and down so I could put on my black Beanie.
"Oh shit!" I thought as I dialed back Odell's number. By the second ring he answered.

Me: Wadup?
R.O.D👊💯: Um... I forgot.
Me: Really dude?
R.O.D👊💯: Shh. I'm tryna think.
Me: *smacks lips*Bruhh!
R.O.D👊💯: Man. I really forgot. But anyway watchu doing?
Me: Talkin with this slow ass boy who has a bad memory.

Oooo! Wait til I see him at school! Imma fuck him up. He knows I can't stand it when he calls me baby girl. I hate it. After finishing up that call and my outfit I checked the time. I needed to g, no time for breakfast for breakfast this morning. So I just grabbed an apple and a White Cherry Gatorade. Before grabbing my keys, I noticed a note that my Mama left on the table.
'When you get home from school. Do your homework and freshen up I got a surprise for you.

I cocked an eyebrow. I wonder what it is? I snatched the not off the fridge before walking out the kitchen. I grabbed my backpack and keys. Then locked up as I stepped out the house. I walked over to the garage and put my Ivory and Black Dodge Charger in ignition and drove to school.
