I woke up and it was aout 5 in the after noon. I was still in pain but spring break ends tommorw. We must get going. I booked the flight two days ago. I should wake up Jared shouldnt i? I looked at him peaceful face looking a litle uncomforable when i got up. maybe i should let him sleep another half and hour, our flight isnt for another couple hours.
I got dressed in a sun dress and let my hair down. I wrote a note to Jared ill be on the beach when he wakes up because i wanted to enjoy this before we left. I kissed his forehead and took my phone, proceeding to the beach. I dailed Olivia's number and waited.
"Hello?" she asked.
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!!!!" i yelled playfully into my phone.
"Ugh i finally got service. Weve been lost in the freaking forest for three days!!!" she screeched.
I paused and laughed. They can take care of themselves right Jared?
"Why did you call me?" i asked trying not to laugh, because it hurt.
"MY PHONE IS ON ITS PERIOD!!!!" she said critizeing her phone.
"Where's Chad?" i asked.
"I dont care, im mad at him, hes the reason were lost" she said.
Then i remembered that conversation Jared had on the phone...
Flashback
I woke up peacefully. Knowing i had a beautiful day with my mate yesterday. That was it was peaceful until teh ezact moment i woke up.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE HERE?!?!" Jared whispered/screamed into the phone.
*Pause*
"DONT GET SARCASTIC WITH ME SAM!!!" he yelled.
*Pause*
"THEY COULDNT HAVE FOLLOWED US I WAS SO CAREFUL. THIS ISNT THERE TERRITORY HOW DID THEY GET HERE DAMMIT!!!"
*Pause*
"I REALLY DONT CARE WE HAVE TO KEEP THE WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN THE PACK HOUSE SAFE. ILL LEAVE CHERLLY WITH HER PARENTS BUT SO HELP ME, GOD IF THEY LAY A FINGER ON HER PRETTY LITTLE HEAD I WILL RIP-"
He spotted me and froze.
"Got to go" he said slamming his phone shut.
Reality
"Olivia run" i said starting to panic.
"What why?" she asked suddenly sounding very nervous.
"Just run if you hear any noises you shift forget your clothes and run away you understand me" i said suddenly less nervous.
"Gotcha, were leaving today right?" she asked her breathe becoming heaviar from running.
"Yea..." i said relaxing more and more.
"Okay see you guys in about two hours the least" she said hanging up.
When i put my phone away i was swiftly turned around.
"Dont you EVER!!! EVER!!!!! Leave without me going with you EVER!!!" Jared said.
I looked at his eyes they were struggling between grey and black. I felt my eyes water. He was starting to scare me. His hands clutching my wrists.
"Jared.. I didnt know what your talking about i came to the beach before we had to leave its no big deal right?"
Why is mate scary Mate threat MUST KILL THREAT!!!! my wolf screeched.
Did she just tell me to hurt my mate?
I listened for his thoughts.
STOP IT DONT YOU SEE YOUR SCAREING HER!!!!! Jared hissed.
SHE LEFT WITHOUT US THE INFERNO PACK COULD HAVE FOUND HER AND TOOKEN HER AWAY!!!!!!
BUT. THEY DIDNT. SO STOP CUTTING OFF HER CIRCULATION!!!! Jared said.
I looked deep into his eyes and they were grey again.
"P-please dont run off with out me please. I couldnt h-handle if..." he trailed off with tears.
"Couldnt handle what?" i asked.
"If they took you, my world would come crashing down to pieces i cant do it i-i cant" he said bawling like a child and trying to hide it as well.
I buried his face in my shoulder and guided him away from the beach. When we got to our room he had stopped crying.
"Okay now tell me everything" i said like a mother.
"What do you mean..." he asked his voice still shakey refuseing to let go of my waist.
"You know what i mean? Tell me why we came here short notice, tell me what that call was about and me the real reason we came to meet that girl" i said.
He looked at me for a short time before closing his eyes. When he reopened them he spilled everything. About the Cresent moon pack, the girl, the Inferno pack and them taking everyones mates. He explained how they take the Alpha's and anyone's mate they can get a hold of.
"I dont know what they do to the hostages but i dont want to take any chances. Especially with you" he said grabbing my hand and running his thumb over my fingers.
"Jared i understand, but my family will be back soon. What am i gonna do Jar?" I asked with the slight tears.
"Ill talk to them" he whispered.
"NO NO NO!!!!! Alicesenia remembers you!!! She will freak out because well..." i trailed off biting my lip.
Please dont ask me what its so embarrasing i thought.
'Whats embarrasing?" he asked rubbing circles into my back with his finger.
"Dont do that..." i mumbled.
'YOU DO IT TO ME!!!! Now ... tell me."
"When you left i broke."
"What do you mean you broke" he asked not looking me in the eye.
I could feel the guilt radaiteing off him.
"I... well exactly that" i said touching his hand and closeing my eyes.
Showing him what exactly happened after he left.
Flashback
(A/N: Id like to note that Alicensenia had already changed her to a vampire but Jared never sensed it so shes a vampire right now)
"Hey Jared" i said moving to kiss him but he moved away.
"Whats wrong?" i asked slightly hurt.
"Im leaving..." he said sounding hurt.
"Wha- why?" i asked touching his hand and he flinched away.
"Because i am..." he hissed.
"Jared why-"
"Because i hate you!!!" he yelled.
"Jared..." i said my lip quivering tears sprouting frommy eyes.
"I love you..." i whispered.
We were just telling each other how much we loved each other yesterday. How much we couldnt lose each other.
"No use in loving something you'll never get because your n-nothing to me" he said his voice sounding shakey.
But not as shakey as my heart. He was ripping it apart limb by limb.
"Jared dont do this please" i said breaking to pieces.
"Dont do what? Lead you on, making me think i love you when i dont. I hate you and im leaving because i cant stand to be around you" he hissed.
My heart break turned into anger.
"WELL THEN I HATE YOU!!! I HATE YOU YOUR FAMILY EVERYTHING. DONT YOU EVER SPEAK TO ME AGAIN. ANYTHING THAT REMINDS ME OF YOU ANYBODY RELATED TO YOU IS FUCKING DEAD TO ME!!!!!" i screeched punching his chest and running off.
"CHERLNINDA!!!!" he called.
"WHAT!!!" i sobbed.
He ripped the necklace he had givien me off my neck, and in a blink of and eye he was gone. I ran to my house passing my mom and dad.
"Honey were you with Jared?" my mom asked.
"Why?" i snapped.
"Oh well dont get pregnant" she said before disappearing into another room.
She never did care. I ran to my bed and covered myself. He was my first love. My first kiss. My first almost everything. And he was also my first heartbreak... I banged on my pillows sobbing.
"ill never forgive you..." i whispered.
Thats when Alicesenia came next to me.
" He hurt you didnt he?" she asked.
I nodded letting out a horrible sob.
"Im not gonna say i told you so. Im going to simply say i told myself. I told myself to keep you away from him. Now he did this. The next time i see him he is going to get it" she said sadly.
"Thats the thing Ali. You wont see him again" i sobbed.
"What do you mean?" she asked wiping the tears away from my newly golden eyes.
"He left Alicesenia. He's gone..." i said before falling alseep next to my best friend... my sister.
Reality
He flinched back away from me, him flying back away from me in wolf speed his back slamming againest the wall.
"I-i-i hurt you. I cant beileve i h-hurt you. But Cherlly baby you have to understand how i felt that day" he said.
"Hmmm can you see like you just did now?" he asked me inching towards me.
"I can try" i said.
I grabbed his hand and tried.
Flashback (Jared's P.O.V)

I took the necklace of her and left into the woods in wolf speed.
"This is for the best, this is for her" i mumbled.
Dammit i lied to her. I lied to her and she hates me. I love her so much. I would have given anything for her. But i almost attacked her cousin. On the full moon i almost raped her but i never touched her. I wont always have that control. I love her i need her. I took the necklace only to remind myself why im leaving.
Im so afrid of hurting her. i couldnt live with myself. Plus it would be the talk of the village. Ill always be near. But she'll never see me. Even if i have to watch her get married and have children, as long as i can see her. But all i know is im leaving. I shifted and headed into the woods farther. When i knew i was alone i started clawing at a tree.
Dammit. I just love her so much i want to be there with her. She looked so upset, And its taking everything i have to not go and hold her again to make her stop crying. i really hope im doing the right thing. Because for some reasn my wolf wants to kill me now.
Reality (Cherlninda's P.O.V)
I gasped holding my chest. He didnt want to leave me. He wanted to stay. He was protecting me from himself?
"How long were you watching me?" i asked still gasping for air.
"About a year and a half... but then i really had to move because, i saw you crying and then i accidently stepped on something and you almost found me. So i knew i couldnt stay anymore."
"Wow, so you never stopped loving me?" i asked already knowing the anwser.
"I never ever ever did and i never ever ever will..." he said lovingly.
"i feel stupid" i chuckled.
"Cherlly you look pale maybe you should lie down" he said pushing my body down.
"I cant we have to go we have a flight in like two hours" i mumbled.
"ill carry you" he whispered pressing his lips to mine letting me fall asleep.
"Wake up Cherlly" he whispered as i felt my wieght being lifted.
My eyes fluttered open long enough for to realize i was in a plane seat. In the seat in front of us were Chad and Olivia faceing away from each other.
"Why arent they talking?" a voice asked me.
"Olivia and Chad were lost in the woods for about two to three days and Olivia blames Chad. So he left her alone in the woods which made her even more scared."
"This is going to be a long trip."
Olivia's P.O.V
He left me there. He left me alone in the woods and the when Cherlninda told me that the Inferno pack were taking mates randomly, I was scared.
"Baby talk to me" Chad begged.
"No" I said coldly.
"Livi please i need to talk to you" he said sounding more desperate then the first time.
"No" I said even more annoyed.
"Olivia please..." he said.
I looked at his face it had tears. He never called me Olivia anymore. Not unless he was hurt or serious.
"Talk."
"Im sorry i left you."
I thought back to what happened to me after Cherlninda's call. How the Inferno pack's Alpha attacked me and tried to mark me. He tried to take me but i ran. It was all because he left me all because of him. Hes lucky were mates, because if we werent i would hate him. But how could you not love him. He was my everything.
"Little late for that now. You only say that now because you thought id be fine. Well you were wrong."
"What do you mean?" he shifted uncomforably
"The Inferno pack attacked me. There Alpha tried to do things to me, to mark me. AND YOU WERENT THERE."
"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!!!!! IM GOING TO RIP HIS LUNGS OUT!!!" he hissed.
I looked at him and he was clutching the arms of his chair with all his might. One of them snapped off making us jump from the noise but we rented this plane so it was only us..
"Dude what up?" he asked keeping Cherlninda stapled to her side.
"N-nothing i-i ... excuse me" he said running to the bathroom.
"Shit..." Jared said struggleing to get up and putting Cherlninda down gentally at the same time.
"His eyes are red, what did you tell him!!!" Jared yelled but not intentionally.
"The truth..." i said sadly.
He rushed into the bathroom. After a few mintues Cherlninda broke the silence.
"What do you mean the truth?" she asked.
"Something happened in the woods after you hung up Cher" i said rubbing my now swollen neck when he bit me.
If i wasnt already mated Chad's mark would have disappeared.
"What happened?" she paniced.
"You really want to know?" i asked.
"Well um yeah" she said.
"Give me your hand Cherlninda" i said holding out mine.
She gave me her hand and i closed my eyes.
Flashback

"Hello?" i whispered.
"Hey beautiful..." someone whispered sticking a needle in my arm.
"Helpp!!!" i screamed.
I tried to shift and i couldnt. What did this mutt do to me??? I felt a sharp pain in my neck.
"W-what did you do to me?" i asked.
"Just so you cant run away from your Mate" he said biting harder.
"Im not your mate i have a mate" i hissed.
"Who could that be" he hissed.
"Nice try mutt but you cant get his pack or his name" i hissed before he threw me on the ground.
"If your mate loved you, he wouldnt have left you alone" he said trying to unbutton my shirt.
"HELPPP!!!!" i screeched.
"Shut up bitch" he said ripping my shirt to pieces.
"Kiss my ass" i said kneeing him so hard he rolled over.
I took off running. I saw his wolf along side of me, getting ready to pounce. I felt my eyes trun yellow. My bones cracked and white fur sprouted, yesss i could finally shift. Just as he pounced i sped off, causing him to slam into a tree. I almost died. I almost got raped.
And it was all because Chad left me.
Reality
"Im going to kill him" Cherlninda mumbled.
I heard a crash and i jumped. I didnt know who was getting hurt. But when i saw Cherlninda gasping for air and remembered the mate connection i realized that Chad was hurting Jared. I ripped opened the door to see Chad's eyes blood red and Jared's head was getting slammed againest the wall repeatly.
"Chad stop!!" i yelled grabbing his arm.
He spun around and saw me, he paused.
"Stop it" i said firmly.
I was afrid to go near him. I watched as his brown eyes slowly came back
"O-olivia..." he said tears forming in his newly chocolate brown eyes.
"Cha-"
It was too late. He threw his arms around me and squeezed me to death.
"Im such a jackass. I dont deserve you, i dont deserve you in any freaking way, they hurt you and i left you. This is all my fault."
He ran his finger over the two holes in my neck from the Alpha that was slowly healing. I winced in pain. I his jaw clenched and he put his forehead to mine.
"I love you... Ill never leave you again" he whispered putting his lips to my mark.
I closed my eyes.
"What are you doing?" I whispered.
"Getting rid of the pain..." he whispered againest my neck.
"Chad?" i asked.
"yea?" he responded looking into my eyes lovingly.
"I love you too."
Jared's P.O.V
I rubbed my head as i walked out of the bathroom letting them have there moment. I watched as Cherlly was shaking. I went up to her nervously. What's happening to her.
"Angel?" i asked.
"I-im c-cold" she shivered.
Now that i really thought about it, its like below 0 in here. I smiled. I thought she was sick or something. I picked her up and sat her on my lap. I drapped her in my arms. She was freezing. Her body felt perfect in my arms. All i know is i have never loved anybody as much as i loved her.
A few hours later (Tell the parents time) Cherlninda's P.O.V
"Are you sure you want to stay for this Jared?" i asked holding his hand.
"Yes..." he whispered.
I hold up the stay here sign. I put on the spray to mask my half wolf scent. I walked in and hid my eyes.
"Mom!!!!" i said when i saw her in the kictchen.
"Hi honey" she smiled.
"Cherlninda!!!!" Alicesenia yelled happily throwing her arms around me.
"Honey why is your so faded. I know you went to Hawaii with Olivia but you werent gone that long" my dad said suspicouly.
"Okay everyone sit down..." i said nervously.
Everyone sat down and i broke down.
"Imnotavampireimawolf" i said all at once.
"Im sorry what?" my dad asked me.
I handed them the book of our family history. His eyes widened.
"Where did you find this? We havent been able to find it for decades" my dad asked suspiously.
"I found this when i foundmymate" i said the last part to fast.
"YOU FOUND YOUR MATE!!!" my mother yelled.
Wow she catches on much faster then dad.
"Yes..." i said.
"Vampires dont get mates" my mom mumbled.
"Read the book honey" my dad said handed the book to my mom.
She quickly read it her eyes widening in time.
"Who is he?" my mom asked.
"Yea who is he Cherlninda?" Alicesenia asked.
"Jared come in..." i said.
He slipped in and looked at the floor.
"Nice to see you again Karoline and Maximus and Alicesenia..." he said grabbing my hand and kissing it.
"Your lucky i dont kick your furry ass" Alicesenia hissed.
"Ali!!!" i yelled.
"No Cherlly its fine, i guess deserve that" he chuckled.
"You deserve a lot more" Alicesenia said getting up.
Everybody got in fighting position before i could protest.
"Stop it!!! Alicesenia your going to have to deal with it because we already mated!!!" i said before i could think.
"Im going to kill him" my father said losing it and lungeing for Jared even though i was in front of him.
Jared quickly pushed my behind him sheilding my body away from my mildly and momentarily crazy father.
My father stopped dead in his tracks.
"What was that?" he asked.
"What was what?" Jared said calmly trying not to set him off.
"That side step shit, Oh excuse my french" my mother replied.
"Well you were trying to get me, but Cherlly was in front of me, so i pushed her behind me so she wouldnt get hurt, isnt that what im suppose to do, protect her?" Jared said as politley as he could.
"This was a test son, i wasnt going to hurt you. You passed. I accept" my father said shaking his hand.
"I can tell you make her happy, her eyes havent sparkled like that for years, i accept," my mother said hugging him.
"You break her heart one more time and im castrateing you, I accept " Alicesenia said shaking his hand.
Thats when Jared wrapped his arms around me and kissed my forehead.
"Ahem" my father said.
We laughed and Jared blushed.
"Thanks sir, I hope you know i love Cherlly so so sooo much" he said taking my hand and putting on his heart.
I leaned my head on his shoulder.
"No..." he said making Jared's hand squeeze mine.
"Call me dad" my dad smiled, as that brought tears to Jared's eyes.
I smiled. This is all i wanted. No secrets. No lies. Just love.
"Mmm Jared we still have your parents" i said.
He groaned.
"Them... i still have to have a talk with Lindsay" he growled.
"Why?" my mother asked.
"Nothing" i quickly said.
"Well si- i mean dad, we must get going when do you want her back," he asked politely.
"Whenever bring her back tommorw for all i care, just make sure she goes to schoo on Monday" he said kissing my forehead.
"Bye everyone" i said turning and walking out the door.
"That went well" Jared whispered in my ear, causeing me to shiver.
"Yea it did."
When we arrived at his house in a short time and i perpared myself for whats up next.
Jared's P.O.V
I gave Cherlly the hold up signal.
"Hi mom" i said when i walked in.
"Honey!!!" my mom cheered hugging me.
Then that's when she knew. She could since it.
"Your scent is different, You smell Cinamon and the rain... YOUR MATED??" my mom asked.
"Yea..." i said nervously.
"Well who is it? Is she from our pack? Did you meet her in Hawaii? Is she from around here?" she asked.
"She's a Vorobeiv mom" i said nervously.
"But that's a clan of Vamp- *Gasp* i knew this would happen sooner or later" my mom smiled.
"What mom? Wait let me bring her in... CHERLLY!!" i called out.
Then she walked in. Its funny how my whole life is another person.
"Honey!!! I havent seen you in years!!" my mom said to her running to hug her.
Cherlly hugged her back smiling.
"Hi Kara good to see you" Cherlly said to her.
"Wheres dad" i asked
Thats when i saw Lindsay. When she spotted me she ran. My eyes turned yellow. Which they never do but whatever. I chased her and she shut the bedroom door in my face.
"COME OUT HERE NOW OR IM BREAKING THIS DOOR!!!" i yelled.
I felt a hand on my shoulder and electric shocks at the same time. i didnt need to turn around to know who it was.
"Your dad's down the stairs lets go talk to him" she whispered.
I nodded and followed her. My dad was sitting there waiting for me to say something.
"Meet my mate dad Cherlninda" i said coldly.
My dad hates me. I dont know why.
"Hmmm... Is that Cherlninda as is the Cherlninda that moved in with the Vorobeiv's that Cherlninda?" my dad asked.
She nodded and looked at the floor. He was making her uncomforable and i didnt like it. He circled her and i which made her even more uncomforable. I didnt like this one freaking bit. Then he did something weird. He... smiled?
"I accept."
"Im sorry what was that?" i said putting my hand next to my ear.
"I accept" he chuckled.
Thats when Cherlly squealed and hugged me. Our life was getting sweeter by the mintue.
"Jar?" she asked me.
"Yea?" i anwsered kissing her temple.
"i dont feel so good" she said dashing out of my arms into the bathroom.
I heard horrible gagging noises.
"CALL THE PACK DOCTOR!!!!" i yelled to my mom.
But when i anwsered the bathroom Cherlly was past out on the floor.
