Brody's POV
I woke up to the sound of kitchen cabinets slamming shut and bowls or plates being put on the counter, "Jayden will you be quite!? You are going to wake up our parents! Especially Mari Jo." A girls voice that sounded somewhat like my baby's. I opened my eyes to see Nevaeh wrapped around my body holding me to her. I looked around the unfamiliar room, spotting some pj shorts on the bottom of the bed and slipping through Nevey's arms to put on the shorts to go see what in the world is going on.
Walking out of the room and into an opened area with a railing around a very large opening in the floor. I stepped to the railing to see into the kitchen where two people were eating some cereal. I studied each ones' face realizing that they were Eli and Jay. I gasped and stepped back suddenly not knowing what was going on, I looked down to see straight into Elizabeth's eyes. They were the same blue they've always been but she was older, way older. Her hair was dark brown waves like her mom's and she was almost a spitting image of my sleeping angle in the other room.
"Mornin, would you like some coffee dad?" a guy's voice rose into my ears making me look downward again to land on Jayden. He was also older, it was as if I were in the future. A smile came to my face as I thought of mine and Nevaeh's futures were together.
"Uhm, sure I'll have a cup." I walked down the steps into the kitchen. "Jeez Eli you look like you've grown up like a few years over night! What are ya, 18?!" I said in a joking manner but really wanting to know how old she was right now.
"Come on dad! You haven't called in Eli since I turned 10 when I said I was too old for the little kid name." she said while pushing me in the arm.
"Well see ya later dad, we're off to school.." Jayden spoke to me in a solid tone.
"Ohhh Jay is nervous for his first day of school as a senior!" Eli teased and laugh at Jayden.
"Whatever I just don't want to be late, let's go Elizabeth!" Jay pulled his little sister out the door yelling bye love you see you after school and Eli saying basically the same thing.
So Jay is now 17 and Eli is 15.. 12 years difference! What the hell happened? Jayden looked handsome, he had brown hair that was probably as long as mine. He had a good shape to him, muscularly but not to much. I looked around the house, it was nice not really big but big enough for us. I had seen pictures of Jayden in his sport uniforms, and Eli in dance. I never knew that she would be into dance but how could I the last thought of them they were 5 and 3 years old for crying out aloud! I was woken from my day dream hearing a little girl's cry coming up from behind me and wrapping arms around one of my legs.
I looked down to see about a 4 year old girl hugging my legs. "Hey baby are you okay?" She looked like a mix between me and Nevaeh. My black hair but her purple eyes. I bent down and picking her up. Heading up stairs while having a little girl snuggling into my neck and falling asleep, I walked to the door of the room I was sleeping in and closing my eyes while opening the door.
I opened my eyes to see the ceiling of the room I fell asleep in. I jumped up throwing some shorts on and pushed the door to Eli and Jay's door to see them both sleeping away at the correct ages. I walked slowly back to bed thinking of what I had just dreamt about. The kids seemed like they were fine, there was an addition to the family though. I think that little girl was Mari Jo, if so that means Nevaeh and I would be having a kid together. I crawled back into bed wrapping my arms around Nevaeh and waiting till she woke up.
Nevaeh's POV
I woke up with many arms wrapped around me, I felt as if I were suffocating. I opened my eyes to see in fact many arms and bodies wrapped around me. Brody had his arms around my waist with his legs tangled with mine, Eli and Jay both were laying on top of us wrapped around our heads. Eli had her arms wrapped around Brody's neck and Jayden had his wrapped around Eli's and mine. I looked over to make eye contact with a sexy beast of a man who I would just like to ravish right now if the kids weren't with us. My eyes traveled down to his lips as they formed a smirk, as if knowing my thoughts. I blushed as the thought of him knowing what I was playing in my head.
"Good morning Honey." His voice rang out in a deep husky tone that could melt any girl's underwear right off.
I cleared my throat before replying making my voice sound stronger than what it is wanting to sound like. "Mornin'" though my plan of making my voice strong back fired it just came out as weak as a boiled noodle.
"Mommy! We wanted to wake you but Brody said not to and let you sleep.." Jayden spoke with a solemn look on his face.
"What's with the look baby?" I questioned.
"You've been asleep for a long time! And we're supposed to do fun stuff today together!" He whined, making me wonder what time it was.
"It's just past 11 baby, we still have time to do things together." Brody spoke to me answering the question that was in my head. I wondered at how he knew that I was puzzled by what time it was.
"Sorry Jay, what did you and Elizabeth want to do today?" I ruffled his hair as they both got up and just sat on our stomachs instead of lying there wrapped around us.
"I wanna go skating!" Eli's voice rang out high as she thought of going skating.
"Baby we would need to go ice skating and the last time we went to an indoor one you got too cold to do anything." I spoke quietly to her not wanting to make her sad. "We would be outside in the elements, meaning it would be waaaay too cold for you baby girl."
"Okay mommy." Her voice trailed off, making me know that she was sad about not going skating, though she doesn't know how I just pulled them along the last time.
"Why don't we stay in for today? We can have a Disney movie marathon? Toy story, princess and the frog, tangled?, and the others like tarzan?" Brody had brought up that idea, and they kids were in love with it though they wanted the other kids to watch it with us. Brody had looked at me with a bright smile on his face just enjoying the excitement coming from my babies.
"Can they momma?! Pleeeeease daddy?" Eli had jumped up and started to jump on the bed beside us. Jay got up to and started to do the same thing and Brody had just gave me a secret look that I had no idea what he was up to. Next thing I know he had grabbed Jay and started tickling him, making him scream and giggle.
I was the first one up out of the bed, "Okay, okay, let's go tell the kids what the plan is but first let's get some food in your bellys huh?!" I picked up Eli and held out my hand for one of the two boys who were still playing around. They weren't paying attention so I started to walk away when a pair of arms wrapped around my stomach picking me and Eli up and they threw us on the bed. I had let go of Elizabeth before I landed on her. I looked up just in time to see Brody coming down and grabbing my waist and start tickling the fuck out me. I heard Eli laughing while Jay tickled her. I grabbed Brody's neck and pulled him down on top of me, making my hands snake into his hair and pulling his lips towards mine. He had stopped tickling me at once when our lips made contact, "Ewwww, daddy you have the girl cooties now!" We stopped when we heard the grossed out Jayden speak up.
"Oh you'll like it when you're older buddy!" Brody just laughed until I made the, don't you dare mommy look at him. The look on Jay's face was as if he thought he'd never like girls that way, the face just made us chuckle.
We ended up going down to the kitchen afterwards and having a few dinosaur chicken nuggets along with grabbing a bunch of junk food for the marathon. While we were down in the kitchen everyone was down there along with Rebecca and Carlisle, Carlisle gave Brody a death glare while giving me a wink and Rebecca just gave me a death glare also looking at my kids like they were disgusting little creatures. Madeline looked at us when we walked in and took off running toward my babies and hugging the crap out of them while they were laughing. Once we were done eating, the kids asked if Bevelynn, Blake, and Harrison wanted to watch the movie with us. Madeline and Timothy told us that would be a perfect plan since they were going to with the other adults to do some late Christmas shopping. Audrey didn't seem to found of the idea but agreed anyways, and Carlisle wanted to stay behind to "watch" the kids but the look on Brody's face had him changing his mind very fast.
Once everyone had left we were stuck with five excited kids waiting for the movies. We headed down to the game room and set up the blankets to make a fort to watch the movies in. While making the fort all the kids were giggling and having a blast. We started the first movie which was Tarzan to make both genders happy, Eli and Jay were sitting down in the front with Harrison by Jay and Bevey was up by Brody and I while her brother Blake was lying sideways in the middle of my kids and us. The kids were engrossed in the movie which I was thankful for, Bevelynn ended up leaving to go lay down by the kids so she wouldn't know what was happening up where we were.
Brody had his arms wrapped around me and cuddling into my side, kissing up the side of my shoulder to my neck. Once he had gotten to my neck I was so turned on I couldn't breathe. I was ready to just say screw the movie and let him ravish me till the days are gone. But I had to be the adult here obviously he wasn't going to stop.
"Brody, no.. we.. need.. to stop.." my voice was soft not wanting to cause attention to us.
He just groaned and watched the movie that was almost over now. We had watched movies until about 5 o'clock when the others got home had dinner together that Madeline had brought home and then went back into the den to play the wii, dance revolutions, and other games. By the end of the time of playing games we were all laughing at Brody's "dancing" skills and it brought all the others down into the game room and we ended up getting into a big dance competition. Madeline and Timothy could actually dance which shocked me since their son couldn't dance from what I saw today!
By the time everyone was tired of playing we headed back up stairs to the living room and talked. Eli crawled into my lap and fell asleep while Bevey fell asleep with her head in my lap and I was playing with her long hair.
"So Nevaeh, what happened to the kids' father? If I may ask." Madeline had spoken first and broke the silence.
"He had died in a car crash, it was rainy and lost control of the truck and had a head on collision with a semi." I had told them the truth but not the fact that he was in fact my dad and these babies were my siblings. Brody had put his hand on my leg squeezing it for reassurance.
"Oh I'm so sorry dear! Please forgive my intrusion in on your personal life.." Madeline had trailed off as if she was scared that she offended me.
"Madeline don't worry about it, I would have never met your amazing son if things hadn't happened." I look up at Brody who was sitting next to me and I leaned my head onto his shoulder, receiving a kiss on the top of my head. There were a couple awes at the affection, until there was one outburst from Rebecca.
"You son of a bitch! You don't deserve him! You're a skank for getting pregnant at a young age and then getting pregnant again! Why did you bring them here in the first place?! Did you want sympathy from us? Cause you sure aren't getting it from me!- ENOUGH REBECCA!" Daylin, Brody's uncle had spoken for the first time. He had a raspy voice and that seemed aged and wise.
"I'm tired of you rambling your god damn mouth about this precious woman. You obviously don't see how happy she makes Brody. So for now on keep your fucking mouth shut." He had stood up half way through his speech and started pacing huffing a bit after he stopped.
"Please I don't mean to make things awful for everyone here, maybe it was a bad idea for me to come.." I had started to get up trying to not wake Bevelynn from moving her head off my lap and carrying Eli and waking up Jay and heading up to the room saying sorry to Brody before leaving the room.
Brody's POV
I was mad, no no I was pissed. I was seeing red, my rage was pointed at one person in this room. She had made my girl feel like she didn't belong. For all I know is she could be packing her bags right now, the thought of her leaving pulled at my heart.
"This will be the last time you see me, that woman that you made feel like shit is my world. She makes me happier than words can explain. So if you don't like her, this will be the last time you see me unless you go up there and apologize to the love of my life. One day I will marry that girl, and those amazing children that call her mommy will be mine too."
With that I had left to see my girl and calm her down. I got into the room to see Jayden and Eli asleep in their bed, I looked in my room to see the bathroom door shut and the light was on. I walked up to the door and I heard crying. The sound tore my heart to shreds, I opened the door and pulled my angel up off the floor from the ball she was in and sooth her in my arms until she calmed down.
"I'm sorry Brody, they don't like me. They hate me! They think I'm a skank and I have ruined this break!" she had burst into tears again making my shirt stain with tears.
"Angel, no they do like you. Rebecca doesn't like you but that's one of seventeen people. I told them that if she wouldn't come up and apologize this would be the last time they see me. You are mine, I love you Nevaeh Holmes. I would pick you over my family any day. I see my future with you, with those precious kids that are sleeping in the next room over. I see us growing old together, having grandkids that run around the house, waking up next to you every morning would make my day even when the darkest day is upon us. You are my everything, I would be nothing without you. I can't survive the rest of my days without you baby girl." I had for the first time, spilled my heart to a girl. Not just any girl but a student of mine, and I was completely okay with this.
"I love you too Mr. McClain."
