Chapter 6 - You know each other?
Destiny.
"Is that the last of the boxes?" Tequan asked, wrapping his hand around my waist from behind.
"No, I still have to get Ne'Vaeh's things...." I trailed off, suddenly feeling sad that my son was not going to be with me at all times like usual.
He rested his chin on the top of my head. It made me feel short when he did that. I mean, I'm 5'6, which is not tall for my age, but compared to his 5'10, I'm a midget.
"Why isn't Trent living with us again?" He questioned.
I shrugged, leaning into him. "He didn't want to leave the family. But it's fine, I will see him everyday and he can spend the night sometimes."
I felt him nod, "Yeah, that's true. I'm glad you decided to move in."
"I wanted to. I didn't want to stay gaurded anymore. I'm glad you made the offer." I smiled and turned facing him, putting my arms around his neck and his around my waist.
"It's no problem baby. I've wanted you to live with me for a while now." He said.
I lifted an eyebrow, "Then how come you never asked?"
He shrugged, "It's a huge step and I wanted to wait until I thought you were ready. It's been two years since we've been together and three since we met, so I just went for it." He explained.
I grinned, "Well," I took a step closer to him, closing all the space between us. "I'm glad you did." I whispered against his lips, giving them a light peck.
He grinned cockily, "Now we can be as loud as we want."
I laughed, "Just because we have a place to ourselves now, does not mean we are going to be at it everynight! I already have two, I don't need anymore." I exclaimed.
He rolled his eyes playfully, "Condoms, baby. Plus you're on birth control. I don't want to worry about us having kids for another couple of years or until we're married."
Married? I haven't really thought of the marriage life. I wouldn't think Tequan would be the person who would want to get married. I love him, I do, but will marriage be the right thing? I've heard things change once you're married, and I don't want things to change between us because I like the way they are now.
I've thought about kids with him, and I would love to start a family with Tequan. He's great with kids and he loves them. I can see him being a daddy, considering he's been one to my kids for three years now.
I frowned, "Marriage?" I asked unsure.
He nodded, "Yeah, I would love to make you Mrs.Richmond." He winked.
Hm, Destiny Aspree' Richmond. Has a nice ring to it. I like it!
I grinned, "It has a nice ring to it!"
"I agree."
I smiled up at him. I truely love this man. He's been there for me in my roughest times. He's seen me at my worst and my best. As long as I had him and my kids, it seemed like nothing else mattered in this world. Right?

"Go faster Tequan!" I screamed.
"I'm trying baby." He grunted.
He still didn't go faster, instead, he stopped completely. What the hell?!
"If you don't go right now, I will make sure this is the last time this happens." I threatened. I was getting impatient. When a girl says do something, you do it! There's no 'I'm trying baby,' you just do it!
He started moving again and I was in a pure bliss. I kept shouting 'go' at him to get him motivated a little. I think it was helping because he was going much faster than before.
"To the right! Yes! Right there! Don't stop! Go faster!"
"I got it, I got it!"
My eyes closed tightly as I waited in anticipation for the big moment to get here. I could feel it and I couldn't wait. I've been waiting for forever for it to finally get here, and it's about to come.
I slightly opened one eye to see he had just crossed the finish line in first place!
"Yes! I knew you could do it!" I cheered.
"If I didn't finish first, you wouldn't have ever let me play Mario Kart again." He teased as we both plopped down on the couch.
"Well, I couldn't have you messing up my records." I smiled.
He put his arm around my shoulder and grinned, "We all know I'm a beast at Mario Kart, especially on the wii."
I playfully rolled my eyes, "Whatever makes you sleep at night." I gently patted his cheek then got up to go to the kitchen. I could hear Tequan hot on my trail.
"What's for dinner?" He asked as he took a seat on top of the counter.
"Hmm." I thought aloud as an idea suddenly struck me.
I strutted towards him with a smirk on my face. His eyebrows knitted in confusion, but I kept strutting anyways. I took my place in between his legs and placed my hands on his upper thighs.
I inwardly grinned as he tensed up under my touch. I looked at him from under my eyelashes, giving him my best puppy dog look. I stood on my tippy toes so that our lips were only a couple of inches apart.
"Well, what would you like?" I whispered, making sure my breath hit his lips. I know it drives him wild. Hehe.
He closed his eyse and groaned, "I can think of a few things right now."
I giggled, "Tell me."
I put my my finger under his chin to bring him even closer to me. His eyes snapped open, lust clearly obvious. His lips were right on top of mine and I could tell that he wanted to take me right there. Too bad I'm a huge tease!
I ran my tongue along the outside of my lips but since Tequan's lips were right on mine, I licked his too, causing him to moan.
"Fucking fuck! Destiny, Lord knows if you don't stop, I'm taking you right here, right now. No questions." He growled.
I took the next step and put my hand directly on top of his 'member' - through his jeans of course.
His eyes widened, then they darkened. I smirked. I got him right where I want him and well, there's no turning back now!
He jumped off the counter and grabbed my hand. He lead me to the living room and threw me on the couch - not hard enough to hurt me, but seductively.
He immediately jumped on top of me and kissed my lips hungrily. I kissed him back with just as much hunger. The kiss was hard and rough, but sweet and caring at the same time. I got so into the kiss I didn't even know that I had began grinding underneath him until he stopped kissing me and pulled away.
"Destiny, I'm warning you.." His voice was strained. I could tell he was having a hard time controling himself which isn't what I wanted. I wanted him to lose contol and beg.
So, I didn't listen to his warning. I continued to grind against him and I could feel him against my thigh. It made me moan in delight. Tequan wasn't the biggest I'd ever seen, cough, but he is definitely not behind by much.
He pulled his shirt over his head and I couldn't help but admire his torso. He had a six pack to tell that he's in shape. His arms are bulky, but not enough to the point it's ridiculous. He had little freckled that outlined his chest. It was too adorable.
His lips instantly went back over mine. His hands traveled down my whole body, making me shiver. He rubbed me outside of my jeans, making me moan into his mouth. He went back north and stopped at the button of my shorts. As soon as he hand them unbuckled, my phone began to blast 'The Motto' by Drake and Lil Wayne.
I sighed and unwillingly broke the kiss with Tequan.
He groaned and tried to press his lips back to mine, but I put my hand on his chest to stop him from coming back.
"Ignore it." He groaned.
"It may be important."
I pushed him all the way off me, and sat up. I got my phone and answered it grudgingly.
"Hello?" I muttered, still a little breathless from the kiss.
"WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU?!" My brother shouted. Jeez, what crawled up his ass whole and died?
"I'm at Tequan's house. Why?"
"Oh, so you were so 'busy' at Tequan's house you forgot to pick up your own kids from daycare?" He spat.
My eyes widened, "Oh my gosh!" I turned to Tequan, "What time is it?!"
"Three fourty-five." Tequan answered.
"Shit!" I hissed, "I have to go Craig." I was about to hang up but Craig's voice stop me.
"Don't bother. I had Trey pick them up because their teacher called the house because they were the only kids left."
I sighed, rubbing my forehead, "This-This is horrible."
"You damn right. You need to come over so we can talk. Now."
Then he hung up. I blew a rasberry and buried my head in hands. How could I have forgotten to pick them up? I have never left them at daycare. I'm usually the first parent there if anything. And I just know Craig is about to give me a lecture about how moving in with Tequan was a bad idea. Just watch.
"Can you take me to my dad's house?" I asked Tequan.
He nodded and started looking for his shirt.
My dad took back my car since I moved out. He didn't tell me directly, instead he had my brother tell me to just leave the keys. I don't really blame him but it's whatever.
Tequan got his keys and nodded toward to door.
"Let's go."

Tequan and I walked hand-in-hand into the kitchen where Craig and Trey were sitting. They were at the far end of the island. Craig looked furious and disappointed while Trey looked angry, disappointed, and hurt. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to explain why he were those things.
I smiled and waved awkwardly, "Hello brother. Trey. Where's my kids so we can get going?"
"Not so fast, Destiny. Sit." He ordered.
I groaned and dragged Tequan to sit on the opposite end of the island. Right now, I felt as if I were in an interrogation room.
I kept my hand in Tequan's and I gripped it tightly. I just had a gut feeling that this conversation was going to go wrong. Craig or Trey might say something to offend Tequan and he's going to get defensive and then it will all go down hill. I just feel it. God, how I hope I'm wrong. I'm strong, but not strong enough to fight the flying fists of three full grown men.
Craig opened his mouth to talk, but I cut him off, "I know, I know. I was irresponsible because I forgot to pick them up."
"Yes you were," He said. "Not even twenty-four hours with him and you're already forgetting the important things." I told you he was going to say something about living with him!
Trey nodded his head in agreement while he had on his signature smirk. Oh, how I want to slap it off his stupid gorgeous face.
I rolled my eyes, "It was only one time." I said annoyed.
"But how many more times will it happen before you completely you even have kids?!" Trey exclaimed.
"This isn't your business, bro. Shut up." Tequan said smoothly.
I knew it! This is not good.
He smirked, "It is my business when she's carrying my kid." Trey taunted.
"What?!" Craig and Tequan shouted. I groaned.
"Lies. Lies. Lies. Lies. Lies." I mumbled over and over. He always has to pick a fight!
Craig slapped Trey upside his head, "Don't lie on my little sister like that, bro. I would have literally killed you if you got her knocked up ag-"
"Shut up, Craig!" I snapped.
He instantly shut his mouth, "Sorry." He apologized quickly.
"Anyways, can we get on with this? Me and Destiny were kind of busy..." Tequan said. I knew he was just trying to get to Trey. Why can't boys get their dicks out their brains? Gosh!
"Doing what?" Craig asked suspiciously.
"What we do is none of you guys' business! Can we get back to this 'talk' please?" I exclaimed. I doubt my brother and ex would want to hear about my sex adventures.
"Do you think moving was a good idea?" Craig asked, "I mean, dad cut you off everything except your online classes. You have no car, no credit card, nothing."
I sighed, "I know but he needs to realize if moving in with Tequan was a mistake, I need to learn from it. He can't protect me all the timed."
Craig nodded, "I understand, but you should talk to him."
"Dad is stubborn." I said, "He won't even listen." I didn't even want to speak to my father. I know I hurt him badly and I just don't want to see the pain in his features. It's not something I exactly like to see on the face of my loved ones. The guilt would just eat me away faster.
"Suck it up and try!" Trey groaned.
"Don't talk to her like that!" Tequan hissed.
"I will talk to her however I want, pretty boy."
"No you won't!" Craig and I shouted.
"Why are you even here?" I asked.
"Because I had to go pick up your kids!"
"I didn't ask you to do that. Craig could have called me or he could have done it himself."
"That's where you're wrong. We called you more than once. No answer. Craig was out with Ashley planning the wedding and shit. So guess who was the only person available?" He pointed his thumbs at himself, "This guy!" He grinned, sitting back in his chair also crossing his hands over his chest.
I rolled my eyes, "Whatever. My kids are not your responsibilty."
"Got that right." Tequan agreed.
"Oh, so they're yours?" Trey asked him.
"Damn right. I've been there for them more then you have, and they're not even mine." Tequan scoffed.
Trey turned confused, "What do you mean?"
"Tequan, drop it." I said. But I could tell my voice came out some-what shaky. He was already saying to much, and anymore would cause him to become suspicious.
"What I mean is," He started, completely ignoring me, "I've been that father figure for them since they were born. I've been the one they call 'daddy'. And where were you? Off in New York banging some slut?"
"Tequan, drop it, bro." Craig said.
Trey stood with clenched fists, "You don't fucking know me." He sneered.
Tequan pretended to think, "Hm, you're right. I don't know you, but I know alot of things about you."
"I swear to God, if you don't shut your trap right now, I'll do it for you."
Tequan remained amused, "Is that a threat?"
"Nah, bro. It's a fucking promise on my life."
Trey's veins began to pop out of his arms as he clenched his fists tighter. His palms would probably be white because of how deep his nails are digging into his skin. Trey has boxing history, but so does Tequan. It's hard to tell who would when just by looking at them. They both are the same size so it would be hard to judge.
"Calm down, Trey. I'm serious, bro." Craig said to Trey.
But he wasn't listening. The vein in his forehead even began to pop out. Not a good sign.
"OH MY GOSH! CRAIG I FOUND THE PERFECT PLACE TO HOLD THE-" Ashley cheered as she walked into the kitchen, but stopped short once she felt the tention in the air.
Tequan and I had our backs to her. Tequan was in a glaring contest with Trey and I was watching to make sure no one made no sudden movements.
Ashley walked to Craig's side, into Tequan and I's view.
Something snapped in Tequan because he stopped glaring at Trey and he started staring at Ashley.
Ashley looked confused but then he expression turned to shock.
"Tequan?!" She gasped. She sort of shy'd away into Craig's arms, looking all of a sudden scared.
"Hello Ashley." He grinned. But it wasn't a regular grin. Something was off about it. It almost looked....evil?
Everyones eyes were on the two as they exchanged words.
"Wait..." Trey trailed off.
Craig and I looked at each other before looking back at the pair.
"You two know each other?!" We said in unison.
