Keith's sister!Reader x Lance
"But I mean, I still don't understand how you did that." The blue paladin said, laughing when Hunk told him about the food goo that had a malfunction.
"Hey! I didn't do it, the castle did it on its own. No lie!" He said in defense with an all too serious tone.
Currently the paladins where spread everywhere.
Hunk and Lance were standing in the dining room, Keith in the training room, Y/n in her room, and Shiro, well no one knows where he ran off to. Allura and Coran were in the main room discussing something.
"Yeah, okay Hunk." Lance laughed receiving a sigh of defeat.
He checked the time, two minutes until four.
What no one knew, except for you and Lance was that once the time hit four, you would call him into your room with some dumb excuse.
All too soon he heard your voice. "Hey Lance, come check out this... new move I learned while training earlier!" You paused, hearing footsteps, which led to a smirking Lance.
"Coming Y/n." He started while walking towards your room.
As he opened the door to your room, he was greeted with your lips smashing into his.
He smirked into the kiss, closing the door at it. Instantly he bit your lip, and without hesitation, you allowed him into your mouth.
Usually you were stubborn and would never grant him access, but right now you needed him.
He backed you up, lips still attached as you fell onto your bed.
"Mind teaching me those moves you mentioned earlier?"
You smirked and pulled the collar of his jacket towards you. His hands were placed around your head as his lips went right back into yours.
You both made out, soon your legs wrapping around his waist bringing him closer to you.
"Hey Y/n-" You heard a voice that sounded too familiar.
Before you or Lance were able to take your lips off of each other, Keith decided to do it manually.
And by doing that meant pinning Lance up to a wall screaming in his face.
"WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU DOING TO MY SISTER? YOU DONT TOUCH HER EVER AGAIN OR I SWEAR TO GOD LANCE I'LL PUNCH YOUR FACE IN!" He screamed loud enough to be heard from another planet.
You got up without hesitation pushing Keith off of Lance. Sure you weren't as strong as him, but training did make you have some strength.
"Keith get off of him!" With one final push you were able to separate the two boys.
You fell on your knees to Lance, as he had fallen on he floor.
"Babe are you okay?" You asked, mentally face palming. Of course he wasn't okay Keith just held him against the wall.
You went to your bedside to retrieve water and gave it to Lance, his hand out to take it.
That began to clear his vision, but not making him fully fine.
As you were rushing for dear life, Keith just stood behind you scoffing at how his little sister could be dating the loser of the year. Also known as Lance.
"What do you even see in him?! He's a full on jerk."
"Keith get out."
"Like I would trust you with that."
You froze at his last comment.
"What the hell did you just say?"
"Like hell I would trust you with that."
You wanted to get up and punch him, but your feelings betrayed you as you looked at the boy beneath you.
"You better get out of my room before I break your nose." Your voice gave both Keith and Lance chills.
Lance's eyes met with Keith's. Your brothers glare could kill anyone on the spot.
While you heard no footsteps leaving the room, you started to stand.
Lance's hand was put on your arm. "Y/n, it's okay. Keith please leave before your sister kills you."
With that Keith walked out, obviously making his footsteps harder and louder than usual.
"What a douche." You mumbled while helping Lance stand up.
"He's just an overprotective brother, I get it."
"No Lance, he sucks. I've never had a boyfriend before you because Keith has either broken one of their bones the first time he saw them or threatened to kill them without even knowing who they were."
"Y/-"
"He treats me like a two year old! I'm nearly a grown woman, and he just did that to you! He's a little shit."
"I hope to prove to him that I can treat his sister right."
"Keith just f-wait what did you just say?"
"I-I said I hope to prove to Keith that I can treat you better than anyone ever could." Your boyfriend scratched the back of his neck and blushed miraculously.
Your heart nearly flew from your chest when you heard those words.
You ran to hug him, "You've already proven that to me."
He hugged you as if he was about to lose you.
Groovy music because time skip to dinner!
The tension that filled the room was enough to spread to the other paladins who had no idea of what happened earlier.
You were sat in between Lance and Hunk. Keith was across from you sitting next to Pidge and Coran while Allura sat at the head of the table.
Keith didn't even try to hide the glare that he was shooting towards Lance.
Lance was obviously beyond uncomfortable. You tried to grab Keith's attention, and finally did.
'Stop. Now.' You mouthed towards your brother.
He just glared at you then began to eat his food giving Lance another death stare.
"So, um, what did everyone do today?" Shiro tried to start a conversation to kill the mood that was spread through everyone.
"Hunk and I were just trying to learn about the ship a bit more." Pidge said while Hunk nodded.
"I spoke to my father." Allura said.
Soon silence filled the room again.
"Well, Y/n, Keith, Lance, what did you all do earlier? All three of you were missing." Shiro asked, not knowing that they were all in your room.
"Well my broth-" You started before Lance cut you off.
"Y/n and I were just walking around the castle. We found some things we didn't see before."
"Really? Because Pidge and I were doing the same. We didn't see you." Hunk stated as Pidge agreed.
"I'm telling you we were doing exactly that. Keith what were you doing?" Lance didn't want to, but looked towards Keith. Not surprised of Keith's stare already latched onto him.
"I was in the training room."
"Oh really? You were really in the training room?" You retorted smiling at your brother.
"Yes Y/n. I. Was." Keith glared towards you.
"Yeah! Remember we walked by and saw him?" Why was Lance trying to defend Keith like nothing happened today?
"Hey Lance, what happened to your neck?" Coran asked worriedly.
Lance touched his neck feeling the evident bump.
"Oh this? Just a training mark."
"I accidentally hit him in the throat. He was in the way of a droid." Keith said sternly.
"What? Lance just said he was with Y/n the majority of the day. And didn't Y/n call you to teach you a new move she did earlier?" Pidge asked, her voice laced with suspicion.
"Yesterday." Lance said eying the paladin from his seat.
It was hilarious how none of your stories added up.
You just laughed while sitting back in your seat, gaining everyone's attention.
"What's so funny?" The black paladin asked.
"Yeah Y/n what's so funny?" Your brother just had to say in his 'stern' tone.
"Oh nothing, just a random thought."
You all had finished eating and headed back to your rooms.
Your dumb brother just had to follow you to yours.
Once the door closed it was on.
"WHY IN THE HELL DID YOU HAVE TO ACT LIKE THAT?" Keith yelled in your face.
"YOU REALIZE YOU LIED ABOUT HURTING LANCE RIGHT? SORRY BUT THAT IS NOT OKAY IN MY BOOK!"
"HE IS NOTHING BUT A DOUCHE!"
"KEITH WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO LET ME GROW UP AND LIVE MY OWN DAMN LIFE? YOU TREAT ME LIKE A BABY AND I'M JUST- I'M JUST TIRED OF IT."
Keith paused before saying anything else.
"Y/n I want the best for you."
"Keith you have no idea how amazing of a person Lance is, okay? I get that the both of you are stupid rivals, or whatever, but he's really good. I don't know how I can prove it to you, because obviously you just decide to be an ass whenever you're around him." You're voice cracked, and you weren't the only one who noticed it.
"H-He just means the world to me Keith. He treats me like, a fucking queen and even I don't deserve that."
Keith was blown away. He had never seen you like this before.
"Y/n I'm-"
"Please Keith, just give him a chance."
He knew he had to. He trusted her with his whole heart, and that's why she had snapped earlier.
Because he said he didn't trust her.
He took in the sight before him, you were crying in your hands while he just stood there.
"Okay. But I swear, if he hurts you, I'm killing him."
You smiled looking up towards your big brother who still had an angered expression on his face.
You engulfed him in a hug, instantly making a grin cross his face.
"Thank you Keith."
You broke away from the hug to run to Lance's room.
