Tuesday
"Could you come out?" Reece texts.
"Yeah, where shall we meet?" I asks.
"At the park near mine." He replies.
"10 minutes?" I ask.
"Yeah." He replies.
I get up from lying on my bed. I put on my grey converse and my parker before going downstairs.
"I'm going out." I shout to my mum as I leave the house.
I walk to the park which takes around 5 minutes. Reece is sitting there on a swing.
Scare him.
I creep up behind Reece and shout "Boo!"
Reece jumps up off the swing. I start to laugh.
"Yeah really funny Amelia." Reece says.
We both sit down on a swing.
"So, why did you want to meet up?" I ask.
"I just wanted to see your beautiful face." Reece replies.
I hit him playfully.
"Reece you're so cute." I laugh.
"Soon I'll be able to tell everyone how much I love you." Reece says.
"Ahh, about that." I say.
"What? Have you changed your mind?" Reece asks worried.
"No no. It's just I'm scared for you. James will uh well he'll"
Reece cuts me off " I'm not scared of James."
You should be.
We stay at the park talking for awhile before Reece has to go back to the boys.
Thursday
"2 weeks!" I text James.
"Can't wait! You know how I said I'd be back tomorrow? Well I'm not going to be coming back till Monday now." James says.
Phew. More time for me to think how I'm going to tell him.
I tell Reece.
Saturday
I'm sitting in the living room. There's a knock at the door. I get up and answer it. It's Sophie. She comes in.
"What are you doing here?" I ask.
"I've come to see James of course." She laughs.
"Didn't he tell you? He's not coming back till Monday now?" I say confused.
"No he didn't? But of course he has told his favourite sister." Sophie says.
"What are you going on about?" I say.
"It's obvious he likes you more than me." Sophie says before storming out and slamming the door behind.
"Amelia! Who was that?" Dad shouts.
"It was Sophie! James didn't tell her he wasn't coming back till Monday?!" I shout back.
A/N - There is trouble between Sophie and Amelia to add on to Amelia's stress.
It's getting closer and closer till Amelia tells James. How do you think he'll react?
