Chapter Thirty
I sprint into Joe and Caspar's flat, panting when I stop. They look at me, confused and that's when I throw the pink notebook their way.
"Sarah... She's a liar." I manage to breathe, bending over. I was in such a rush to Joe and Caspar I didn't even think about how I'd be so breathless when I got there.
"I'm confused," Caspar mumbles as he flicks through the pages. "This doesn't make sense, surely she's playing a joke on us."
"No, trust me, she isn't. You should of saw how she acted when she caught me looking through it."
"How did she act then?!" Caspar snaps, throwing the notebook across the room before stomping down to his room. I sigh, I never meant to upset him. I sit beside Joe, cuddling up to him, telling him everything that happened. He seems too shocked to believe it but I know he does, I know he knows I wouldn't lie about something like this. After a while, I decide it's time to see Caspar, so I go down and lightly knock on his door. I can hear a quiet sobbing coming from inside, I slowly open the door with a small smile. "I'm sorry for acting that way to you." Caspar mumbles, wiping away his tears but his cheeks remain wet with tears.
"Don't worry about it. I understand that you're upset." I say, sitting beside him and placing my hand on his shoulder. "I'm so sorry Caspar."
"I love her." He mumbles before breaking down all over again, resting his head on my shoulder. How could she do this to Caspar? He's so innocent and sweet, has most qualities a girl would want in a guy and she throws it all away like that, uses him and breaks his heart and without a care in the world! All of her kindness was an act, she's a lie. Creepy even. I get that she could have a crush on Joe and it would make sense but making poems like that or cutting out images of them and placing them on a wedding photo is reaching the limit of a crush. I can't imagine how Joe is feeling, he didn't really say anything, most likely too shocked to even speak. Obviously, people are going to have crushes on him, it's normal, how couldn't they to be honest? But when she used Caspar that's gone too far, I don't want to think about what she had planned or what she is capable of. I'm just glad I found out before anything happened.
Later that night I went home, Joe was staying with Caspar that night which is understandable. I would have stayed too but I had work to do at home. I wish I could've stayed though. As I'm editing a video where I go through my Twitter DM's as I have a few strange ones my phone dings letting me know someone texted me. I look in confusion, it's two in the morning, why would someone be contacting me right now? But it's from Sarah, I completely forgot to block her number.
