*Above picture is Parrish*

Xander went through many changes in life. When he turned ten, he was now in the double digits. When he turned 14, he started his first year of high school. When he turned 17, he finished the final year of high school and started university. At the age of 19, he was able to drink in Canada, and at 21 he could drink in the United States. There was one point in his life when he had just turned 25 and finished his fourth year of university. He had finally gone through his acne stage and now was quite... Hot. He had grown taller and his face thinned out, finally getting rid of his baby cheeks. He had taken to going to the gym a couple times, for an hour, during the week. It had really helped to get rid of the excess fat on his stomach and to strengthen his muscles. He had already gone through a number of boyfriends over the years and he was on a new one. He knew this one wasn't going to last long, his name was Parrish and he was very sweet but Xander had yet to see another side of one.

"I'm honestly getting bored of him," Xander complained over the phone to Brody. They were talking about their love life's, of course, Amelia and Brody had broken up when she decided to attend Yale University and Brody stayed at home. Brody didn't seem to have a new girlfriend but Xander sure was annoyed with his boyfriend, Parrish.

"All he does is smile sweetly, we're still only at the stage of kisses and it been three weeks, I don't know Brody. He's not going to last long. He opens doors for me, sends me lovey-dovey text messages, he says 'XO' in his texts." Xander had been appalled when Parrish hadn't made any moves in the first week. By the second week he was getting slightly annoyed, and now in the third week, Xander knew they wouldn't last long.

"Listen, bro, just give it a couple more... days. You never know." Brody answered sighing. Xander nodded but knew in his head, he would break it off tonight.

"Okay Brody, I'm going to hit the gym, I'll talk to you soon," Xander spoke finally and hung up before Brody could answer.

On the way to the gym, Xander couldn't help but think about the pros and cons of dumping Parrish. Pros: Bye bye Parrish, Cons: I won't have a boyfriend Pros: No more annoying, being treated like a girl stuff, Cons: ...

'Yup. Guess I really am dumping him...' Xander sighed, realizing he had about ten more pros than cons. Arriving at the gym, he pulled his stuff out of the car, taking in a white Honda he had never seen before.

"Hey, Linda." He greeted the receptionist and slipped past as she nodded happily at him. Getting ready in the change room; he slammed his locker door shut, trudged slowly through the showers and finally out into the gym area. He immediately noticed the usual, Dave was running on the treadmill, Katrina was doing weights and a few others were scattered around the gym doing various exercises. Xander did happen to notice a few new girls, all wearing sports bras, and spandex tights, who were laughing around a water fountain. One of them pointed him out and they all turned away, covering their hands, he assumed they were giggling. He grimaced and moved towards the step treadmill (You walk while stepping up stairs) and started it up. He slipped his gym card in and it set the machine for his usual time.

"Hi, my names Louise." A soft girls voice sounded from beside him. Xander jolted and looked around, his eyes falling on a girl. She had soft, brown eyes and strawberry blonde hair.

"Hi." He replied stoically. Her smile fell slightly, and he felt guilty... for about two minutes.

"What's your name?" The girl - Louise - asked nervously, twiddling with her thumbs, while her machine booted up. Xander inwardly sighed, not wanting to deal with a chick right now.

"Xander." He knew he was being rude, but he could care less. Louise, once again, lowered her smile, and he cursed at himself. The two machines chimed at the same time, and immediately they were climbing on together. Xander plugged his earbuds in, and he blocked out people's heavy breathing.

Thirty minutes later, the two young adults stepped off the machines, nothing heading towards the water fountains.

"How old are you?" Louise? asked. Xander shrugged.

"25. You?" He asked gruffly, annoyed his body had said the 'you' without permission.

"Oh really? That's funny, I turned 25 just a couple of weeks ago." She smiled this huge, bright smile and he almost made a joke about having to put sunglasses on to see it. All of a sudden she was up in his personal space. He glanced around, seeing if anybody had noticed this girl all over him and he took note of three other girls watching Louise. He assumed that these girls were her friends.

"What school do you go to?" She asked lightly, she trailed her fingertips over his muscular biceps, and down his forearm.

"What school do you go to?" He grits his teeth, enunciating on the 'you'. She laughed lightly stepping even more into his personal bubble, and she looked up at him fluttering her eyelashes. He nearly gagged.

"I go to a University a couple of towns away." She whispered into his ear. She looked around the room. "You should come over to my dorm some time... We could have a lot of fun." She whispered softly, Xander gasped and tried to pull away as she bit his ear.

"Could you ple-" Xander started before a rough hand was pulling him away. He struggled but relaxed when a warm voice whispered in his ear.

"Chill."

"Parrish?" He questions softly. The said boy tightened his grip around Xander's waist.

"Hey, baby. Who were you talking to?" Parrish leaned down and kissed Xander's neck softly. He carefully licked behind his ear making him gasp.

"This is... This is... Louise..." Xander tried to introduce the two, but Parrish was having none of it. "Louise... This is my..." Xander yelped when Parrish bit down harshly between his shoulder and neck.

"I'm his boyfriend," Parrish smirked as Louise's smile fell all the way. She narrowed her eyes, turned and stomped back to her friends but not before whispering 'faggots' underneath her breath.

"You're mine," Parrish said seriously. Xander pulled back and was expecting to see a teasing, light, warm face but was shocked when Parrish's face was stone cold. Xander nearly tripped and only just managed to grab his water bottle before he was being tugged into the change room.

"I know," Xander whispered out quietly. He grabbed his things, not even changing and when Xander got outside, he realized Parrish had run here.

"Where are we going?" Xander asked quietly, as Parrish climbed into the driver's seat. Parrish didn't respond, and Xander could nearly see steam coming out of his ears. When they arrived at Parrish's apartment, Xander gulped.

"Come in." Was the first words he heard from Parrish's voice before he was being pulled inside.

"Drink or food?" Parrish asked, only out of politeness. When he turned around Xander could barely see the green in his eyes at all. The only thing that was there was lustful, black eyes. Before Xander could comprehend what was happening he was being shoved up against the wall. Xander had never been kissed so roughly, and coming from Parrish? His shirt was off in a mere ten seconds, Parrish's following pretty soon after. They both kicked off their running shoes, and socks as they kept kissing down the hallway.

'Just like a cliche chick flick.' Xander chuckled to himself as he was tugged after Parrish to his bedroom taking in the clothes trailing behind. He was tugged down onto the bed and Parrish straddled him, tickling him with his nose. He giggled, no chuckled in a manly way, and Parrish smiled into his stomach. Xander gasped when Parrish pulled down his workout shorts. Parrish stood up and slowly, teasingly pulled down his own basketball shorts. Crawling back to Xander, he started nibbling and kissing his neck. After he was pleased with the nice, red bruise he left behind he blew softly onto it. Xander tried to keep in his moan and it ended upcoming out as an embarrassing stuttered grunt. His face grew red as Parrish snickered into his shoulder and he tried to pull away.

"No baby. It was cute." Parrish whispered into his ear and he relaxed after a minute. Parrish rolled his hips and this time both of them let out a soft chorus of moans.

That night, Xander realized Parrish thought Xander had wanted to wait, and Parrish realized Xander had thought he wanted to wait. They were both mistaken, and Xander didn't break up with him. Parrish changed, he had thought Xander wanted a soft, gentle, kind man and when Xander hadn't broken up with him he kept the charades up because he didn't want to lose Xander. Parrish's string had broken when he had seen that girl flirting with Xander, that had been the final straw and he knew he had needed to mark Xander then and there. Parrish was actually an amazing, crazy, outgoing guy and they decided to start again. Sure, they may have gotten off to an awkward, kinda awful start, now almost 15 years later they were still together.

"Jessica! Get back here!" Xander laughed as Parrish chased after his five-year-old daughter. She was holding onto a small soft blanket running around their living room. He was trying to get her into the bathtub but it looked like he was having a bit of a hard time.

"Xander, baby! Help me!" Parrish pleaded, stopping in front of Xander, out of breath. Xander shook his head.

"No way. I always do this, anyway you're a paramedic, shouldn't you be good at this... running thing?" Xander chuckled at his husband's red face.

"I roll injured people on gurneys into a truck, drive them to the hospital and leave them there. I don't do any running." Parrish grumbled, leaving a soft kiss he sprinted off after Jessica who had disappeared down the hallway. They had adopted Jessica when she was 11 months old from China. Xander's mother had a best friend whose sister had a friend who had also adopted from China. They had met the young girl and immediately decided to adopt. They had thought of other options but when there are so many children without loving families in the world, they knew they needed to adopt. She had been a blessing. After five years of communication from China, and lots of signatures, paper signing and meetings, they gathered Jessica with seven other couples who were gathering their own children. Xander wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

"Daddy! Daddy! Help!" Jessica screamed running into the room, her soft blanket was gone and his young girl jumped into his lap digging her face into his chest. He hugged his daughter tightly and chuckled when Parrish walked into the room holding a blanket and leaning over slightly.

"C'mon sweetie. It really is time for your bath." Xander untangled himself from Jessica and passed her over to Parrish, who grinned thankfully. Xander knew that no matter what happened, he could always look to his family for help.
