It was dark.
And quiet.
So quiet, that the only noise that you could hear, was your own breath.
Your calm breath and your feet stepping on the soft grass.
You came close to the house from the other side. The street was a little bit too risky.
You looked at the huge house and noticed a pattern that was made of wood and decorated with plants on the wall. One of its sides was reaching the ground and the other one was reaching the balcony of the second floor. "Looks like a way I could use to get in!" you thought as you looked behind you to check whether someone was watching you or not, and then you started climbing up this 'Ladder'. After a few steps, you stopped climbing to check if the ladder was really stable. You didn't want to risk falling down and breaking your bones. The ladder seemed to be able to carry your weight, so you made your way up to the balcony. Once again, you checked your surroundings, but no soul was there. You lifted your black mask and went closer to the glass door of the balcony and kneeled down. From your rucksack, you took a glass cutter, that you got before coming to the house. You cut a rectangle into the glass that was big enough for you to fit in, but before you slid yourself into the house, you took out a small towel from your rucksack and put it on the lower end of the hole. You didn't want to risk cutting yourself and leaving blood or any fibers on the glass that might help the police with getting you. You wanted to get rid of the towel later anyways.
Once you were inside the house, you checked the ceiling and walls for any hidden cameras, but there were none. 'Maybe this was Misa's private house and she usually spends her time somewhere else. That's why she didn't secure this place properly.' You thought and started checking the living room for anything suspicious.
After it turned out that the room was clean, you started examining every other room. Most of the rooms were clean and it looked like no one entered them for quite a while. At the end of the corridor, you opened the last door and found what you didn't expect to find. A room that was different from all the others. The ground had a black and white chest pattern, the walls were colored in light purple, but the decoration of this room... "Damn..." You thought astonished. "Is that... Misa's room...?" You asked yourself doubtful. Most of the furniture were colored in pitch black or bloody red. On the shelf, you saw a couple of dolls. You went closer and noticed that one doll represented a reaper, another one an emo-girl, and another one a rabbit, and the last one a ghost,...
On the wall left from the shelf, there was a TV on top a small drawer that had only one door. The door had engravings that revealed several scalps and red roses. There was also a human-sized death god with a black long robe and a silver scythe in his right hand, that had a long blade. On the left hand, the death god held a glowing sphere. 'That room is creepy...' You thought and looked around. Next to the bed, there was a candlestick on top of a drawer. The candle was turned off and above it, a huge cross stuck out. Right on top of the bed, two black sheets were hanging on the wall. The looked like curtains and made the room look gloomier.
Someone who was interested in dark things could only be having dark secrets. People like that usually feel down to a point, where they start feeling numb. Instead of feeling sadness, madness, anger, they just sit calmly there and feel how their heart is aching. Something must have happened to them, that pushed them into the dark deep sea. They keep sinking and sinking, the water gets colder and colder, darker and darker. They just watch how the surface is going further and further away. They don't know what to feel, what to think, what to do. They hide from the public, because they feel misunderstood, or perhaps they feel different, and socialize a lot to show everyone that they are normal like them because they don't like the way they turned into. They want to hide everything and maybe escape reality by being around others...
You started opening drawers, boxes, wardrobe, and folders, looking for anything suspicious or useful. Your thoughts though stayed with the person whose room this was. 'Is that Misa's room...?' you asked yourself doubtfully. 'In public, she seems like a cute model, who is outgoing and crazy. I'd imagine her room to be pink with a lot of plushies and things like that.'
You sighed. "If that is Misa Amane's room, then I understand her for taking drugs secretly, but... What happened to her so that she becomes like that? This room looks nothing like her!" You thought and continued searching. You opened a box that was placed on the lowest shelf and took out some newspaper articles: Tragic case: Parents killed during a robbery .
The title said. You read the article to find out that two young girls lost their parents when a robber burgled their house and killed her parents in front of her eyes. He escaped, but the police are looking for him with the hints, that they got from the young girl Misa Amane. You realized, that this might be the tragedy, that changed Misa's life. You couldn't imagine something more horrible, than a little innocent girl seeing her beloved ones being killed in front of her eyes and living without them from there on, but you were wrong.
When you read the next article, you felt very bad for the girl: Suspect was innocent, still no hints to the killer. This article was also related to the tragedy. Apparently, they found a person, who Misa said was the murderer of her parents, but after negotiation, it turned out, that they had the wrong man. They set him free and continued research. You reached for the next article in the box, but there was no more article. You took out a white paper and unfold it. 'What...?' The whole paper was covered in a name, that must belong to the man, who was suspected by Misa. His name was written all over the paper in a black pen. Across the whole page there was a word written in red:

After you put the box back in place and found nothing between her books, in her folders or in any other boxes, you turned to the bed and took out whatever was hidden under it. In one of the boxes, there was a voice recorder, similar to the one that you had. There was also a voice distorter and some tapes, paper and some envelopes covered in a plastic wrap.
You examined the large wardrobe but didn't find anythi- 'Wait, what is that?' You found a rectangle hole on the edge of the wardrobe base. It was big enough for your finger to fit in. You slid your finger in and to your surprise, a big part of the wooden base was loose, so you could lift it up. You removed this plate and looked at whatever was in there. 'Another box...' you realized and carried it out of its place. On the ground, you opened it and found another bunch of papers and articles in there. You took out the first article, and noticed, that it was about the night, where Misa was attacked by her obsessed fan. Most of the other articles were about... Kira.
Kira's appearance, Kira playing god, Kira being a threat, Kira being a criminal, Kira being searched for, Kira being the savior of the poor and the weak, Kira's message to the world, the fake Kira, and so on. Every little comment about Kira or the fake Kira was cut and put in this box. 'Did Misa hide this box, because it contained everything about him? Why is she collecting all this anyway?' You asked yourself. You took the next article that was about Kira, but what is said was very interesting...
The burglar, who murdered Misa Amane's parents died of a heart attack...
'An act from Kira??' You asked yourself. 'If Kira was after criminals, who were still free, he might have put this murder to justice and did Misa a favor.' You looked at the article one more time and realized, that Misa might be collecting all those articles because she likes Kira. After all, he killed the murderer of her parents AND the psycho, who wanted to kill her.
Kira saved Misa's life!

Most of the entries seemed normal, but there were a few, that made you very suspicious.
On the 22nd May, she noted: Met up with a friend in Aoyama. Looked at each other's notebooks.
At first, this sentence looks normal, but when you read the entry of the 30th May, the first entry could mean something completely else.
30th May: Confirmed that there was a death god present at the giant match in the Tokyo Dome.
There were 8 days between the two entries. If she saw a death god in the Tokyo Dome, then it only means that she touched the person's death note, who then went to the Dome. 'But if she touched someone's death note, then the first entry means that she and her friend showed each others death notes to confirm, that they are Kira's...' You were confused because you came here for another reason and now it looks like you found Kira2...

He is part of the Japanese Task Force and works with L against Kira!' Your eyes were wide. You needed a moment to process all these information.
For a while, you just sat there without moving or thinking or doing anything. You were breathing calmly with your eyes still wide open. Once you were done, you shook your head and turned to the box, that held dark secrets. There were still some things in there and you knew that they would give you much more information. Maybe what Kira2's next step might be, or perhaps who she met at the dome or anything about Kira. Maybe she hid her death note in there if she didn't take it with her to the festival.
There was a small, but thick envelope in the box. You opened and found a lot of pictures in there. You took a look at the first one and raised your eyebrows. 'I think I know that guy. Male, light brown hair, young,... He was the one who talked to Naomi Misora on the day she disappeared, Light Yagami, son of the chief Soichiro Yagami...' The next picture showed him too, and the next one...
All those pictures were taken of him, but one thing seemed strange about all those pictures. Misa can't be found in any of the pictures. There was only Light and he never looked into the camera. 'Looks like Light has a secret lover!' You let out a laugh, when you realized, that Misa was probably stalking Light and taking pictures of him in secret. You turned the pictured and took a look at the time when they were taken. 'Huh? What's that...?' You asked yourself.
The earliest picture showed Light with a group of people. The surprise was, that it was taken on the 22nd May, the day at which Misa and her friend showed each other's notebooks. 'Is that friend... Light?' You thought for a moment. 'No, if so, then they would have met again and she would have taken pictures with him or something. But why exactly is that the first day she took a picture of Light Yagami? And why exactly him?? I need to search for any relation between them.' You thought and took the diary entry in your hand. You took another close look at it. 'Last year, huh? Kira didn't exist on last years May.' you noticed. 'This fake diary had a purpose, but what? There are two hidden messages: A death God being seen, and two death note owners showing each other's identity. One of the messages could only be understood by the real Kira, so maybe this was supposed to be sent to Kira without any suspicion. Maybe they wanted to meet without arousing anyone's suspicions. Kira never messaged his double publicly. Only the NPA did and they probably kept messaging Kira2 in private pretending to be Kira. Misa could have wanted to check whether it was the real Kira and sent this diary to meet him if he was real.' You looked at the diary. 'But that means, that the NPA and Kira2 talked for a long while until Kira2 finally sent the diary three months ago. What does that have to do with Light, though?' You asked yourself. You were really confused right now and didn't know what to think.
Light...
'What did he say again on that day?...' you asked yourself as you remembered the first time you saw him. 'Right now L is in charge of the task force and is commanding the investigation... He knew that and he also knew that the task force lacked people. What if the task force allowed Light -who helped the police in solving cases before- to take part in the Kira investigation? Then he knew about everything, even about the messages between them and Kira2. He and Misa had their first 'meeting' on the 22nd. I'm not sure, but Kira2 has the eyes and she planned to find me as well. So what if she saw that Light was a death note user and started stalking him from there on?' You suggested and searched the back of the pictured for the 30th May, but there was no picture. 'Does that mean, that Misa only went to the date of the meeting to find Kira, but skipped the 30th, because the police would expect her to be there?' you questioned. You got up and started walking around the room. Your heart was beating fast.
If what you thought was true, then you were in Kira2's house right now and the worst: Light was Kira and he was working with L at the moment... "What the hell is going on??? That can't be true." you didn't like the idea of L working with Kira on Kira's case and giving him all information. You panicked and were scared that something might happen to L.
This was a face to face battle...
This couldn't go well...
And what about Hideki? He is also part of the Taskforce. Is he keeping a distance from me because he suspects Light of being Kira and doesn't want Kira to find out that he talks to me? 'I remember that Light was kept under surveillance and that Both, Hideki and me suspected Light of being Kira... I hope Hikdei is doing fine and isn't in danger...' You thought and felt the urge to do something immediately. But you knew that without proper planning, your chance of failing would be too high. You had to get your head free and plan your next move carefully. You knew for almost sure who Kira was, but the people you needed to talk to were too close to Kira. If he gets any suspicious, you might be in danger, just like Naomi Misora...
You took a picture of everything with your phone and then you put everything back to its place. While examining the room earlier, you didn't come across anything, that could be a death note, so you realized that Kira might have come here and taken it before the police could find our touch it. You also thought that since Misa was behind bars, you had a good chance of meeting Light, who was probably Kira. You could meet him without having Kira2 near you, who could reveal your real identity. Kira wouldn't be able to kill you because of your fake name, but then again you remembered that he was part of the task force and it would only be more than suspicious of you meet Hideki or L or want to talk to any member of the task force. You had to think of what you should do next. 'It seems like a meeting with Kira isn't necessary anymore. It is better if I avoid him...' After you finished with everything, you exit the house from the balcony and made your way back home without being seen from anyone.
