*Naruko's pov*
-time skip to the second stage, because everyone passed the first.-
So the first exam everyone passed. So as a preliminary round they had to make it to Sunagakure' Demon Desert in three days. Only one team failed. Selena, Udyan, their new teammate I heard was named Reiki made it first, using my technique but altered.
"Naruko's Technique." Tsunade states amazed. "Did they have contact with one of us recently?" She asks Gaara.
"They probably marked us without us knowing." Gaara states calmly. Me, still playing the part as Chrissy turned to Lady Tsunade.
"Lady Tsunade, who is Naruko?" I ask curiously. Wanting information.
"Naruko Uzumaki, some people call her a traitor to Konohagakure along with Sasuke Uchiha." She states simply.
"Oh? Why?" I ask even more curious.
"She staged her own death, along with Selena Uchiha and Udyan Haruno. They left to train and something else. They won't tell us what Naruko's plans were. But it doesn't matter now. We found her actual body. She had her portion of the nine tails extracted and died." Lady Tsunade says. I furrow my eyebrows. 'They found my body?' I think confused.
"Maybe she had a perfectly good reason to staging her death. But what do I know, I've never met her." I say shrugging.
"That's precisely what I think too. She was a powerful kunoichi. She was one of the only other Konoha Genin to pass the Chunin Exams the first time. She was chosen by the Oracle to become the next guardian of the earth. It's a shame she died." Lady Tsunade says. I look away trying not to smile. It's good that not everyone thinks I'm a traitor.
We're watching the exams take place. They have five days to get to the tower. Just like in the Chunin Exams we took last time.
-three days into the exams-
Gaara and I met Fuu. She and her team were the second team to arrive. Today I was with Guy, Asuma and Kurenai watching over the exam. Gaara was doing something but I didn't know what.
"Something's up." Kurenai says calmly.
"Yeah. The Kazakage isn't here." Asuma replies.
"What in the world?! The Kazakage...?" Guy yells but Kurenai and Asuma put a hand over his mouth. My eyes widen when I sense something off completely. Making a fast hand sign I teleport to Gaara's side. Seeing chakra chains in him and Fuu.
"Gaara, Fuu." I say covering my mouth. I realized we were in Fuu's chakra cocoon.
"Ne! How did you get in here Chrissy?" Fuu asks.
"You came." Gaara says.
"Of course I did. Why wouldn't I?" I ask smiling at him.
"Probably because it's dangerous and you're not a ninja." Fuu says confused.
"Eh? Not true." I release my transformation. "I am or well was a jinchuriki. I had a small portion of the nine tails."
"That doesn't explain how you got through my cocoon without finding a weak spot." Fuu says amazed.
"We don't have time to talk about it right now Fuu. Team Guy is coming. They're just about outside. Don't say anything." I say seriously transforming back and touching a chakra chain to make it seem I was with Gaara the whole time to help. I made it seem as though I was trying to help.
"Stop, you'll kill yourself doing that." Gaara says glaring at me. I chuckle.
"I'm not touching that again. I just had to make it seem like I was injured." I says calmly. I sit up groaning in pain and wait for the others to get here.
'You know, you possess the different traits from different clans? It's worth trying now.' Chrissy says. My eyes widen at the realization.
"But how do I activate it?" I mutter.
"What?" Fuu asks.
"Uh? Well, the Oracle told me I can active clan traits.. but I don't know how I'd activate the byakugan...." I say annoyed.
"It sounds to me like the Oracle isn't much help when it comes to information." Fuu says sighing.
"Eh, it's not that.. it's I didn't ask about it." I sigh.
"You're an idiot sometimes." Gaara states. I sigh nodding.
"Neji is almost here though.. He should be able to save you guys." I say defeatedly.
'Naruko, put your hands on them. I'll give you my power to minimize the pain they're feeling.' Chrissy says. I nod and stand up.
"I'm going to minimize the pain.." I say as I touch them both. My hands glow a bright blue color.
"Thanks." They say together. I nod and keep my hands steady and concentrate.
"This is the Oracles Power?" Gaara asks.
"Yeah." I reply calmly. Soon Neji arrives slightly confused by my presence but doesn't say anything.
"See, I knew someone else would come to save us." Fuu says happily.
"Can you help?" Gaara asks Neji blankly.
"I'm not sure. It's worth a try." Neji says simply. "Gentle fist: chakra point needle." He hits Gaara's chakra point and the chain stops. He then does the same to Fuu.
"Your eyes.." Gaara says lowly. I close my eyes and remove my hands.
"What are they?" I ask low.
"Why do you have the Sharingan? Only and Uchiha can have those eyes." Neji asks calmly.
"Tch. Why did I get the Sharingan when I didn't need it?" I mutter annoyed. "Its a secret." I reply seriously.
"You should leave before someone comes after you too." Gaara says calmly.
"Right. I'll see you again. Don't forget, if you ever need me, use this." I hand him a seal. "It will send me a message and I'll find you." He nods.
"Be careful." Gaara says I nod and disappear. Reappearing in front of Itachi and Kisame I hold my eyes and scream in pain.
