While it had nearly finished it was about to be pitch black then, the un-lighted decorations suddenly turned on.
With rainbow lights covering all the buildings as people stared with an awe, when the strings were connected to each side of the building it had also illuminated with white mini stars.

As colour changing lights shone on us.
The man with the microphone had started to speak, thanking everyone for joining the parade and stuff blah blah blah.
