It's nearly 2:45 in the morning here and I can't sleep because I can't breathe. I have some problem with breathing, I don't even know. I tried to get help for it.. Alex looked shocked and completely mortified when we told her that we planned an intervention. I was sick of her putting herself down. She had no reason to be insecure. None. Nada. Zip. Zilch.
"I don't understand.." Alex trailed off as she fiddled with her hands.
"We have issues with you putting yourself down constantly." I explained. "There's no need for it, especially because you're absolutely beautiful."
The guys nodded their heads in agreement. Alex needed to realize how beautiful she actually was and how much potential she had. We tried to keep the speeches as simple and quick as possible, in fear that Al would get up and leave. I stood up, I was assigned as the first to go.
"Alexandria, I've known you for nearly 15 years now. There isn't anyone in this world who knows you better than I do. I know you enough to say you're something special. You're smart, smarter than I am, and you have the grades to back it up." I whipped out a piece of paper that I had gotten emailed to me from our old high school. "Chemistry - 99%, Literature - 99%, Calculus - 97%, Government - 98%, French - 100%, Foods/Cooking - 97% ... Shall I go on?" Alex shook her head no. "You have a killer personality. You're funny, caring, and I love everything about your nerdiness. You're beautiful. Without a doubt. And I love you more than anything in this world. I wouldn't lie to you, Al." I sat back down and nodded for Harry to stand up.
"Al, there's something about you that I love. Whether it be your adorableness, your smile, your funny antics, or your amazing cooking skills, I don't know. But whatever it is, makes you into the Alex I know and love. I might've only known you for about 2 weeks, but I know enough about you to know you're amazing. Not only that, you're stunning, love. And you have a nice ass." I rolled my eyes at his comment. Way to go Harry, way to go.
It was Zayn's turn now. He cleared his throat and started read off of a piece of notebook paper. "Oh, Alex, where do I start with you?" We all chuckled lightly. "You are probably one if the craziest people - And I mean that in the best way possible - I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The way you carry yourself, the way you care for everyone, the way you are - almost - always happy. The way you love Corrine more than you love yourself. I've never seen such a strong relationship before and seen someone care so much about one single person. And, not to mention, you're undeniably beautiful." He sat back down and smiled in contentment.
Next was Niall. "In the short time I've known you, I've come to love and respect you. Your personality is incredible and it's amazing how your smile lights up the entire room. You also have exceptional looks to match your exceptional personality. You're one of my favorite people ever and I mean that." He smiled shyly at Alex. You could hear in his tone that he meant it. "You're an amazing cook and I love the way that you love food as much as I do. You're the sweetest person I know..You're just an all around, amazing person."
Louis came next. "Alex, when I first met you, I knew that I was gunna like you. You have spunk, wit, and amazing skills in boxing. You love carrots and I love you simply for that. You're random and sincere. You're so loving and caring that it's crazy. You and Corrine are so much alike and I know you look up to her in a way. You envy her, when you're almost her twin. Minus the looks. But you both share a natural beauty that can't be obtained by many people. You need to give yourself more credit, Al."
Finally, the moment I'd been waiting for arrived. Liam stood up and ran his fingers through his locks nervously. I could tell this was hard for him. "Alexandria. You are stupid - Stupid for believing all those lies that Ryan forced you to believe. You aren't ANY of those things that he said. When I first met you, I knew that I was getting myself in trouble. You're so incredible, it's hard to resist you. The way you laugh makes my insides warm. They way you smile makes my heart race. And when you touch me, you make my skin tingle. I know I can't resist you forever. That's why I broke up with Danielle. I broke up with her for you. You're too amazing - even for me." Liam let out an aggravated sigh. "I wish you could see yourself the way I see you."
I felt the tears prick at my eyes. I mentally gave props to Liam, that had to be the sweetest thing I've ever heard. I glanced over at Alex, who had tears pouring down her face. She stood up and started a huge group hug.
"Thank you," She said. "Thank you for saying all those nice things about me. You guys are the best, I couldn't ask for better friends."
We all laughed and pulled out if the hug.
I wasn't prepared for what happened next. "Well..If we're all admitting things... I think that I'm in love with Corrine."
My mouth hung open as I stared at Louis. Did he really just say that? I bolted out of the tour bus and onto the streets of Paris. I felt sick, sick to my stomach. I had to get away from here. Alex would handle the situation back in the bus, right?
