Chapter forty "calm down" wow number 40 doing good!

Summer's p.o.v
The ride back to the castle was quiet, it was nice.... I looked to Sly's leg, looks like my blue T-shirt isn't gonna be blue anymore and it's now a half shirt, never had a shirt show my stomach area, kinda weird. I looked back to Sly's face he seemed so peaceful 'I wonder what he saw of us to make him that scared...' I wondered looking at him "so how much longer till the castle?" I asked finally breaking the silence "well we'd be there by now but gotta be careful ya know?" Sky explained I nodded as I looked down I saw something beneath us "um Sky...?" I asked he looked beneath the cloud, and the cloud speeded towards the ground I held tightly to Sly as the cloud beneath us split as wyvern with a rider split through the cloud, I grabbed tightly to Sly's body as we fell. The ground rushed towards us I looked quickly and saw vines, I held Sly's body with one arm and reached out to a vine with another, it snagged and it hurt my arm as we swung at great speed, I struggled to keep grip on the vine and Sly, I slipped from the vine and tumbled with Sly, I took the brunt of it as we landed, I felt a sharp pain in my side and my right arm, I rolled onto my other side letting go of Sly, I tried to move my fingers in my right arm, it wouldn't move, it was painful 'I think I dislocated it!' I thought looking at my arm "Sky? Adam! Oh god Adam help!" I telepathically pleaded not knowing if he was in range I looked to Sly he was Okay I sighed in relief "Sly....please don't lash out" I pleaded with a mumble, he stirred opening his eyes looking right to me, I shrunk back afraid if he was gonna lash out he looked to me confused looking me over 'please, please, please!!' I mentally pleaded I moved slightly but regretted it immediately I winced in pain, Sly's ears folded back as he reached out to me it seemed like he tried to talk but like he was blocked somehow I don't know... he crawled towards me looking me over, I tried to cover my side wound with my hand but he moved it out of the way his eyes widened looking at me I gave a half hearted smile "um...s-sorry" I whispered I tried to sit up but Sly stopped me and made me lie down I looked at him as he kept looking me over 'don't check my arms, don't check my arms' I hoped not even looking at my arms, when pain shot through my shoulder and spine I groaned as I looked over and saw Sly holding my right arm, I smiled sheepishly he motioned to it "it might be dislocated I don't know..." I admitted I looked to my side and saw my side wound, it wasn't that deep....but it was bleeding (damn and I just got used to this half shirt) I looked around "where's Sky?" I asked Sly looked around and shrugged staying close to me. We heard a screech of that wyvern Sly froze and shrunk back "oh no,no,no,no....it's okay! It's okay!" I said reaching up to him with my free hand he took it and squeezes it tightly, it almost hurt I looked up to him with a soft smile "it's okay...trust me" I assured him he didn't seem to believe me and to be truthful I didn't believe me.
That screech came closer, "Sly hide Okay?" I asked he shook his head in disagreement "I said go now!" I growled as I saw him shrink back and run off, I sighed as I stood up holding my arm, the wyvern landed near me with a rider, a tainted rider he spoke but I couldn't understand him, "are we gonna fight or we gonna talk?" I called out he motioned to the wyvern who raised its scorpion like tail above its head "fight it is then." I said summoning my trident and howling out as loud as I could.
Third person p.o.v everything was silent, until a sad howl broke through the thick silence, other wolves joined in with this sad song, a song that was slowly dying. Sly covered his ears trying to block out all the howling, he ran and ran looking for someone! until he bumped into something as he fell back, he shook his head and looked up to see Sky "Sly! thank god you're alright!" Sky said helping Sly up "where's Summer?" Sly pulled on Sky's arm and pointed to the way he'd come from "what do you mean?" Sky asked clearly confused all of a sudden the silence broke out again followed by a thunderous CRACK that shook the jungle forest type terrain, Sly's ears drooped as the loud howls became softer and more mournful, another crack thundered from above as rain poured heavily. the two boys rushed to the clearing as fast as they could, once they arrived they saw the Wyvern and its rider flying over the tree cover and back to where ever it came from, and then their eyes fell upon their mutilated friend torn limb from limb laying there in the middle of the clearing, her now colourless eyes still widened and blood shot, Sly whimpered putting his hand on her forehead and dragged down, closing her eyes "collect her and try and carterise the wounds I'll be back with help!" Sky ordered as he changed into his Elemental form which matched the stormy skies above them, before he took off towards the castle.
Jade and James were looking out the window watching the rain fall as they felt a sudden pulse with their powers, James' was a strong pulse where as Jades was a weak pulse that died soon after, when they saw something heading towards the castle, they looked at each other before jumping away from the window as the creature smashed through the window "Sky?" the siblings asked simultaneously "no time to explain!" Sky croaked as he grabbed the siblings and flew back to the area.
the siblings looked away from the body "who did this?" James asked his voice faultering "we don't know but we need to bring her back right?" Sky said Jade knelt down to the now carterised body and focused on healing her
...
...
but nothing happened...
Jade was on the verge of tears "i-i can't...she's gone..." Jade sobbed "no! maybe tinker knows what to do right?!" James protested Sky took a breath "load her onto the cloud, it'll take a while" Sky sighed summoning his cloud, a thunder cloud, everyone piled onto the cloud.
it was a silent ride back to the castle, as the storm raged on.
