*Shawn's POV*
I drove home from meeting up with my friends as the sun was going down.
I wasn't feeling great, even though Christmas and the whole holiday season was coming up fast. I just felt stressed and upset.
My friends and I had tried to go out and have a good time while my girlfriend Y/n also had plans, but my fans were everywhere. Don't get me wrong, I love them and they've changed everything for me, but sometimes they get a little too pushy. I had mostly got used to it, however it had gotten pretty bad lately.
The front door clicked as I unlocked it and I hoped that Y/n was back at home.
She thankfully was. "Shawny, you're back!" Y/n ran up to me and gave me a hug, "Did you have a good time?"
"Kind of," I sighed.
She looked at me worriedly, "What's wrong baby?"
I wasn't planning on telling at first, until I gave in, knowing that she would get me to tell eventually. "I'm just really stressed out with everything."
"What do you mean by 'everything'?" Y/n asked, taking me by the hand and leading me to sit down in the living room.
I lied down and placed my head in her lap, "I just...there are so many of my fans and I know they mean well, but sometimes it's just too much with them always there. We were close to being mobbed by some fans tonight. They kept following me and I just decided to come home early because I couldn't take it anymore."
I ranted on and she listened, playing with my hair, "It's like I can't even go out anymore without that happening. It's almost Christmas and I can't go anywhere!"
"Aw it's okay, Shawn," she cooed, "It's totally fine to feel that way, you're under a lot of pressure. Don't forget that I'm always here for you though."
I smiled slightly, looking up st her beautiful face. My voice lowered as I got a little emotional, "I just wish sometimes that I could go back to not being famous. I miss being able to go to the store or even just outside and have a normal day."
"You know what?" she hinted, "I have a surprise for you that might make you feel better."
I sat up curiously, "What is it?"
Y/n stood up, "Follow me and I'll show you."
I dif just that and she stopped me at the front door. It was now all the way dark outside.
"Close your eyes," she said.
"Really?"
"Yes, just do it," she insisted.
I finally did close my eyes and moved my legs as Y/n pulled me through the now open door. A small click sound was audible and then I felt Y/n step back next to me.
"Okay, open you're eyes," I could hear the happiness in her voice.
I opened my eyes as she told me to. To my surprise, there were Christmas colored lights strung up on the outside of the house. I must have been too lost in thought to notice them, and they were turned off, when I first came home. There were red and white lights shining brightly together like a candy cane, and green ones other places. It all looked incredible with the clear, starry night sky ad its backdrop.
"Y/n this is amazing," my jaw had dropped and I walked further away from the house, looking up to get a better view. My eyes flickered down to her face, "How did you do all of this?"
She grinned, "I might have had some help while you were gone."
I was still shocked, "You did all of this for me?"
"Of course," her arms were now tightly wrapped around my waist, "I always want to make sure you're happy. You deserve it with how much you work to please everyone."
I embraced her tighter, my head finding its way to the crook of my neck. "Thank you, darling," I breathed and you could see my breath in the cold air, "I love you more than you will ever know."
"I love you too, baby," Y/n shivered, "It's freezing out here. How about we go inside and cuddle?"
"Mmhm, sounds good," I hummed and we headed back inside. The lights shined through the window and I was suddenly filled with a lot of excitement to spend Christmas with my love, Y/n.

It seems like I haven't updated in forever, but I finally did. This week would normally have slow updates bc I have finals in on of my classes (help😣), but I want to put up two more imagines before Christmas so it will probably be the same.
