Okay. Now I really hate school.
I haven't felt this stressed since.... who the hell knows?
I let out a sigh as I continued typing final report assignment for the first year I've been here. It fucking sucks.
Why?
Cuz it's about history.
I suck at history. You have no idea how hard I study for it just to get a decent score.
It's a 1000 words assignment, and I've already lost it at 100.
Well, at least I'm better than Petra. She hasn't even touched her's. Also, almost a year has passed, and she still doesn't have the balls to ask Levi out.
And speaking about the bitch, me and him are alright now. Not the best of friends, but it's something. Unfortunately, we're always neck to neck with our scores, which drives me fucking crazy.
But for some weird reason, we help each other out with things we don't understand, even though the explanation of the things we have trouble with is always accompanied by our holy vocabulary.
I brought a chip to my mouth, slowly chewing it as I thought of what to type. The door creaking open made me look up, greeted with the sight of Petra walking in.
"Back from detention?" I snickered, earning a glare.
"Oh shut up (Y/N), you've gotten a detention from Rico bitch as well," she snapped, tossing her bag on the floor.
"Oh please, you know the whole class went to detention that day because we started a spit ball fight in Rico's class." I said, making us laugh together.
My chuckle faded away and I took another chip to my mouth. "Anyways, about Levi," I started, "When are you going to make your move?"
Petra silenced as she gave the a question a thought. "I... think I have an idea when," she said slowly.
"Took you long enough," I muttered back, eating another chip.
"But, I'll save that for later," Petra said suddenly and headed for the bathroom.
I gave a mental shrug and took another chip, closing my eyes as I chewed it.
I don't know if I fell into a small sleep or the dark was just so calming, but when I opened my eyes Petra was wearing a fancy outfit.
"Where the hell are you going?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"There's a concert at town and I heard (f/band) was playing there. Also, there's gonna be a wicked party afterwards. Literally all the dormitories officers and teachers are going."
"But what about your assignment?" I asked, slightly worried for her.
"(Y/N), that's like due on Monday. There's plenty of time." Petra brushed off, slipping on her heels.
"See you later hun," Petra waved goodbye then went out the door, closing it behind her.
That girl, is a party queen. When there's party, she's always there. And the worst part is she hasn't touched any of her homework, at all. I honestly worry about that girl's education. She's jumping around too much if you ask me.
As I continued to think about Petra, my phone started ringing.
Who the hell?
I answered the call, bringing the phone to my ear. "Hello?"
"Don't you fucking hello me, you brat. Where the hell are you?"
Oh shit. Fuck fuck fuck I totally forgot that Levi and I were gonna meet up at the library to do the fucking assignment.
"Umm... can you give me 15 minutes?"
"You haven't left your dorm have you?"
"Umm.. no.... not really... maybe.... okay yes."
I closed my laptop and hurriedly shoved it in my bag.
"Do you even want to do this?"
I closed my bag and snatched my jacket, trying quickly to slip it on. "I do Levi! I do, hang on. Just give me.... 10 minutes."
I could hear Levi sigh from the other end. "You have 5."
I nearly choked from air when I heard his reply. It takes at least 15 minutes to walk from the dormitories to the library, 10 minutes to jog, and 6 if you're going sonic dash. 5 minutes is impossible.
"9!"
"5."
"8!"
"5."
"Uhhh 7 and a half!"
"Fine! Hurry the fuck up."
I ended the call and tossed my phone on my bed, as I quickly struggled to put my pants on. Finishing, I quickly snatched my backpack and rushed out the door.
The wind seemed to be slamming in my face as I sprinted to nearly the other side of the school grounds. My heart was racing so fast I thought it'd break out of my chest.
Finally, I reached the building and quickly ran inside, reaching the school library at last. I saw Levi sitting at one of the tables, busy reading a book. Only when I reached his table did he look up with a frown.
"8 seconds late," he commented, clearly unimpressed.
Aw hell no. I wasn't gonna get his shitty attitude today. "Excuse me, but I spent that 8 seconds catching my breath inside the library," I retorted, sitting down in front of him.
"Whatever," Levi rolled his eyes before returning to flipping the pages of a thick ass book. "What's the assignment again?"
I looked up from turning on my laptop. "Seriously?" I exclaimed in disbelief.
The bitch was not happy. "I asked you a question, I expected you to answer."
"I expect you to not expect me to be your expected slave where you expect you can just expect me to know every single damn thing."
"What?"
"It's about titans."
"Thank you very fucking much," Levi mocked thanked me.
Silence stretched out for a while until Levi let out a groan of frustration. "Can't we just copy shitty glasses' report?"
"No," I replied sternly, "And stop calling her shitty glasses."
Levi swung his pen around. "(Y/N), I've been calling her shitty glasses from the first day I met her. Your word is gonna stop nothing."
I narrowed my eyes as I tried on typing my report. "At least I made an effort. It's not the result, but the journey that counts."
Levi dropped his pen and leaned forward. "And what if the result is death?"
"There must've been something worth remembering from the journey as your last breath leaves your body. Now can we please focus on the report? This is the final assignment for fuck's sake."
"Fine. Pass me that book."
~
"Hey, how many words do you have left?" I asked, blinking my eyes as I tried to get rid or the soreness.
"About 400," Levi replied, sounding tired.
I yawned and stretched, looking at time.
Holy shit it's 10:24 pm. The library closes at 10:30 pm.
"Hey Levi, we gotta go," I said, saving my file then closing my laptop.
"Why?" Levi asked, rubbing his eye.
"It's nearly ten thirty," I replied, putting my laptop in my backpack.
"Holy shit you're right."
I waited for Levi as he packed up his stuff and returned the books to their original position. Side by side, we walked out of the building, the cold night air hitting us with a blast.
Fuck, it's cold.
I sneezed, rubbing my hands together for some warmth. Levi, on the other hand, was perfectly warm with his scarf wrapped around his neck and his thick ass coat.
Now, you may think he's gonna be the gentle boi and give his scarf to me, but he ain't no gentle boi. He a fuck boi. And fuck boi doesn't give a shit if you're turning into an ice statue.
I huffed, going in my pockets to get my ID card and keys ready so I don't have to start fumbling awkwardly while standing in front of the door.
Hm? It's not in my right pocket. That's unusual.
I stuck my hand in my left pocket, a sense of dread starting to rise. Empty.
Back pockets? Both empty.
Secret pocket? Empty!
I flipped my bag from my back, frantically zipping it open to search for the two of the most vital things.
They're not there!
"Aw... shit."
In front of me, Levi turned around. "What now fuck face?"
I looked up at him. "I... I forgot."
He raised an eyebrow. "To take a shit?"
"No you bitch! I forgot my keys and ID!"
Levi's mouth dropped open. "You fucking what?"
