Epilogue
Third Person's Point of View...
The special day has come. Where a pair heart and soul will be reuniting today. She and He won't be calling each other fiance anymore. This event will be the way to make their relationship real.
Everyone seemed thrilled, waiting for the ceremony to begin. The atmosphere is elated and romantic. (Y/n)'s family was there as well as Levi's which includes Kuchel and Kenny. The entourage cast was complete. Hanji, Mikasa, Eren, Erwin, Mike and Nanaba was excited to witness the wedding.
Levi was standing, clearly nervous beside Erwin.
"Levi, don't be nervous," Erwin chuckled. "You've been fixing your cufflinks for nearly half an hour."
Levi glared at him. He was wearing a formal tuxedo. An gray suit with matching white cravat. It suited him very well. He's still attractive especially with his hair slicked back. You could say he's damn hot.
Levi glared at Erwin. "I can't resist myself." He sighed and wandered around the cathedral. "What if I forget about our vows? If I stutter and faint?"
Erwin laughs. "What?" He gave him a pat in the shoulder. "Levi, just keep it cool. It wasn't like you."
"I know," Levi states before taking a deep breath.
Hanji was being ecstatic and insane as ever, she's being resisted from screaming in excitement by Nanaba and Mike who looked really pissed by her antics.
Sasha, Connie, Jean, Ymir, Historia, Armin and even Annie attended. They were all pleased to see this exclusive wedding. There was only one media invited to let these event become live for the fans. For they could witness the special day from the past 5 years of being locked into each other's arms, they will finally level it up.
"Everyone, please stand up to welcome the guests." The officiate, started.
A sudden feeling of adrenaline rushed on Levi's nerves. He was nervous and his palms getting cold when Erwin whispered on him.
"Stay cool."
He nods and exhaled. It has to be perfect. It has to end really perfect so he had to do his best this time. Wedding... is one of the greatest sacraments and it shouldn't be ruined.
'It's my our special day. I should make this memorable for her...'
The song started... 'Glass Bridge'.With the chosen orchestra of the cathedral to make it more romantic using the sweetest instruments. But Hanji seemed more emotional than the others.
Howling moon,
It has been so while,
In the silence.
The entourage guests came one by one. Bridesmaid holding a small bouquet of flowers as they walk down the aisle with groomsmen escorting them...
And if you believe
In my little world
Tomorrow will
Have a wonder
And there, after the guests. Their families, walked in. (Y/n)'s mother being escorted by her father. Her brother Akihiro with Hailey. Then, Kuchel with Kenny.
Don't know where to go,
Tell me for sure,
That you won't leave me here alone,
I need to know...
"Everyone remain standing for the entrance of the bride..."
You will, I believe
When I do need someone to hold
You'll be here
The large doors of the church, opened. Fog effect was directed to the revelation of the girl standing in white stunning gown. Her vail, hanging in her elegantly fixed hair that's been wearing a silver gemstone clip.
The guests, awed. She was exceptional. She's grace. Her head slowly turned up to see them. Her eyes glowed and her sweet smile melted the man standing in the altar.
Little voice I hear, yeah maybe
Maybe no, who's to say
Slowly drowning in after wave
After wave, who to say
All eyes were staring at her. (Y/n) stepped in not wearing a heels but a white wedged boots, her long white laced gown following in her back as she walked slowly through the red aisle.
Then I cross a bridge for over million reasons to hold on
Hide away with me
Walk away with me
Levi was stunned. (Y/n) was gorgeous and it was the reason he never took his eyes of her presence as she gracefully walk down to altar.
Then we cross a bridge for over million troubles to meet
Nothing is easy
Nothing is easy
It takes time before she could reach the front which Levi hated. He wants to instantly kiss her, be in his arms and marry her but this has to be considered perfect.
'And you can't rush something you wanted to last forever...'
Huu hoo ho hoo ho Hoo ho
Oh how well you see?
How will you try, how?
However I mean to you now..
She have finally reached near as she gave time to hug her parents and sibling. Hanji didn't wasted the chance to hug her as well.
Levi heard her chuckle and it made his heart race.
Try...
Then I cross a bridge for over million reasons to hold on
Hide away with me
Walk away with me
After the small, advices you collected from the special ones of your life, you finally faced the person you'd share your entire life with.
You walk to him. Smiling. He offered his hand and you took it, but Levi wasted no time to give you a small peck on the lips.
He smiled genuinely.
Then we cross a bridge for over million troubles to meet
Nothing is easy
Nothing is easy
The song ended, making their way to the priest to bless this special day. The ceremony has started and the priest proceeds to the opening remarks.
"We gather here to unite these two people in marriage. Their decision to marry has not been entered into lightly and today they publicly declare their private devotion to each other. The essence of this commitment is the acceptance of each other in entirety, as lover, companion, and friend. A good and balanced relationship is one in which neither person is overpowered nor absorbed by the other, one in which neither person is possessive of the other, one in which both give their love freely and without jealousy. Marriage, ideally, is a sharing of responsibilities, hopes, and dreams. It takes a special effort to grow together, survive hard times, and be loving and unselfish."
Everyone listened and looked up to where you and him stands.
"Do you both pledge to share your lives openly with one another, and to speak the truth in love? Do you promise to honor and tenderly care for one another, cherish and encourage each other, stand together, through sorrows and joys, hardships and triumphs for all the days of your lives?" The priest asked.
"We do." Both of you, answered.
"Levi Ackerman... do you take (Y/n) to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, fof better or for worse, for richer for poorer in sickness and health-"
"Until death do us part? Tch, I do." Levi eagerly didn't let the priest finish when everyone laughed at his antics.
I chuckled lightly at his excitement when the priest do so.
"Alright," the priest laughs. "Do you, (Y/n) (L/n), take Levi for your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do you part?
"I do..." You smiled to the demanding Levi.
"Do you pledge to share your love and the joys of your marriage with all those around you, so that they may learn from your love and be encouraged to grow in their own lives?"
"Yes, we do." You and Levi responds.
In an instant, the cute ring bearer walked up to the aisle to us, giving it to the priest.
"May these rings be blessed as a symbol of your union. As often as either of you look upon these rings, may you not only be reminded of this moment, but also of the vows you have made and the strength of your commitment to each other."
The officiate gives him the microphone.
"I, Levi, promise to love and support you (y/n) and live each day with kindness, understanding, truth, humor, and passion. With this ring I thee wed." Levi takes your hand, and gifts the ring by placing the ring on your finger.
"I, (y/n), promise to love and support you Levi and live each day with kindness, understanding, truth, humor, and passion. With this ring I thee wed." You took the ring and placed it on Levi's.
You gave the mic to Levi to continue his vows "(Y/n), we've known each other for seven years or at least you know me for longer from being a fan..." he touches my cheeks and looks directly into my orbs. "Because of you, I laugh, I smile and I dare to dream more than ever have. I choose you to be no other than yourself to be mine forever. I love you."
You couldn't help but let out the overwhelming feeling you've been holding. A tear escaped your eye.
"L-Levi..." you muttered between the tears.
He laughs and wipes your tears. "Don't, you're too pretty. You'll ruin your makeup..."
You snorted at his comment. 'Dummy.' You thought as he returned the mic to you, to continue yours.
"Levi... I've been in love with you since I was 16 and it was funny you did not know me. I met you when I was 19 that I still considered a miracle. All my life, I thought I'd only become a fan and stay as a fan. But little did I know, you were falling for someone imperfect like me." I chuckled. "Until my amnesia took over... but I didn't give up to know more about us. I fell deeper for you. I promise to give the best of myself, to share with you my time and attention. Be always there to give you strength and love you 'til my very last breath."
Levi squeezed your hands. His heart quelling in tears of joy. He couldn't resist himself anymore instead he hugged me, real tight.
"Go now in peace and live in love, sharing the most precious gifts you have-the gifts of your lives united. And may your days be long on this earth. I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
The crowd applauded and cheered. Hanji was yelling and being laughed by everyone.
"Kiss her!!" Hanji raised her arms, not caring about her crop top dress.
You were laughing at her when a pair of lips crashed into yours, bending your back a bit and supporting it. You smiled between the eager kiss he's giving you before you returned the affection passionately.
You hear the enthusiastic noises everyone is giving and claps. After the kiss, he whispered 'I love you' and you said it back.
Once again Levi intertwined his hand with yours and then faced everyone with happy smiles. You waved to everyone as he led you outside, with the guests following you and Levi.
The boquet you were holding from the beginning of the ceremony had reached its time to let go of your grip into the next bride.
You and Levi was now outside the cathedral as the officiate called.
"All of the singles! Line up!"
You turned your back to the crowd and then readied yourself.
'1...2...3!' You threw the boquet to your back and the girls were surprised.
A few seconds later, you heard people 'awe' and you turned to see who got the flowers.
"Erwin! Look!"
You covered my mouth. It was unexpectedly Hanji or at least you thought.
"Congratulations!" People greeted. After the small thanks. Both of you left with the car to the reception.
'I love you takes three seconds to say...
Hours to explain,
And lifetime to prove...'
Timeskip: After 13 Years
Levi's PoV
I heard our piano and a familiar voice sounded like an angel.
"Howling moon...
It has been so while...
In the silence...
And if you believe,
In my little world,
Tomorrow will
Have a wonder
Don't know where to go-"
"Yaunna?" I opened the door, catching her recording. She stopped.
"Dad?" She turned, kind of hilarious that it looks like she could see me even if she's wearing a blindfold.
"Recording, again?" I ask, smirking and leaning against the doorframe of our very own music room.
Yaunna removed her blindfold that was once mine revealing a monolid grayish-blue steel eyes and stoic expression that resembles myself. She gave me a small nod before stopping the recording materials.
"Why, dad?" She folded the piece of fabric and blew on the dust of her favorite instrument. "Tch, dusty."
I couldn't help but found her antics the same with mine, cute.
"It's time for dinner." I told her, adjusting my glasses.
Yaunna nodded when (y/n) appeared beside me.
"Aren't you guys going downstairs?" (Y/n) asked, hugging me from behind.
"Well, I just told our daughter." I kissed her cheek and I could never get tired of beautiful appearance.
Yaunna rolled her eyes before getting past us. "Mom, dad. Get a room. I could lose my appetite, jeez."
Me and (y/n) laughed at her, watching her go downstairs.
"Yaunna could never understand... unless she already felt it." (Y/n) muttered softly.
"It's too early for her... she's just 14." I hugged my wife from behind.
"Who knows..." she shrugged.
"You're coming over Shaun? Alright- with aunt Hanji and uncle Erwin?" We overheard our daughter over the phone. "Okay... I'll tell mom and dad. W-what? Something to tell m-me?.... o-okay."
I looked at (y/n) as if she read my mind.
"Who's it?" (Y/n) asked while I my head resting on her shoulder.
Yaunna turned and a blush was encrypted on her porcelain cheeks.
"I-it's just Shaun. He said he and his family's coming over..." she quickly turned away.
"And what's with the blush?" I teased, keeping my usual expression.
"I have a fever." She sarcastically said before running towards the kitchen avoiding our questions.
I heard (y/n) laughed. "You're both denial."
"What?" I pinched her nose before kissing her lips softly. She held on me tightly but when we were about go deeper a doorbell was heard that made us pull away.
"Damn it..." I uttered.
"Coming!" We saw Yaunna ran through the front gates.
"Looks like someone's excited to see Shaun..." I teased, smirking.
"Shut up."
'Fin!'
