December 12th - First Words - JJ seven months
You were currently making dinner in the kitchen, some spaghetti and meatballs, while Jensen was sitting in the living room with baby JJ. "Babe, maybe she won't say it today, give her a break she's only seven months." Jensen has been pressing JJ to say her first word. He said it could be anything, but he secretly wants to win the momma-daddy contest. "Nope, she's gonna say it today. I know it. Come on baby say something for daddy? Daddy- can you say that? How about lights, or Christmas, maybe Santa?" You hear Jensen coo. Closing the pot of noddle for a few moments, you move into the living room to see your two favorite people.
"Or what about momma, huh? Why does daddy have to be called first?" You say entering into the fully decorated living room and sitting down next to Jensen who is sitting across from JJ. "No, Daddy. Say Daddy!" Jensen claps his hands and JJ giggles at his actions.
"Daddy!" JJ smiles and claps her hands too. Yours and Jensen's eyes light up and he grabs JJ from her bouncer. "You did it baby girl, you did it!" Jensen cradles her in his large arms and you kiss her forehead. "You did it baby. Now we gotta get you to say Momma!" You grab JJ from Jensen's arms and move back into the kitchen.
"Momma!" JJ claps her hands together like she did before and you stop in your tracks. "Did you just-" You stutter. "Yeah, she did." Jensen looks at JJ then to you. "JJ, you just said Momma. Oh god, I'm getting all emotional now. Stop growing please." You laugh as you let a few tears fall and Jensen comes to your side, swiping his thumbs under your eyes. You look into his green eyes, seeing the rims red and on the brink of tears. "I love you, I love you both so much." Jensen leans down to give you a passionate kiss and then a kiss on JJ's cheeks.
"Wow, we have to celebrate! Spaghetti for everyone!" Jensen and you cheer crazy for JJ and her giggles never run dry. After dinner was over and the talkative baby put to sleep in her crib, you and Jensen collapse on the living room couch looking up to the large Christmas tree set in the corner of the room. "She did it. Our baby girl did it." You spoke and leaned into Jensen's opens arms. "She did. She did. Thank you, (Y/n)." Jensen kissed your head and you moved up from confusion. "For what?" You ask and Jensen pushes some of your hair behind your ear before cupping your cheek. "For making me the happiest man alive, with the most beautiful wife ever, and the most perfect baby girl. I love you so damn much." Jensen pulled you into his lap and his lips never left yours, well, except for when the clothes went flying across the room.
Happy day, with a never ending happy night........

December 25th - First Christmas - JJ seven months
"Good morning baby girl." Jensen cooed at his daughter to whom he got to wake up this morning. JJ smiled at her daddy as he cradled her neck and bum and lifted her out of her crib. "Happy first Christmas!" Jensen kissed his daughter's cheek and snuggled her close to his chest. Let's go see momma, okay?" Jensen carried JJ to his shared bed with (Y/n) and saw a beautiful sight. (Y/n) eyes were peacefully shut, snores soft, and just looked so peaceful. "How did I get so lucky with my angels?" Jensen smiled and leaned into the bed kissing (Y/n)'s head.
"Merry Christmas (Y/n)." You heard Jensen say and you opened your sleepy eyes. Getting the blurriness out of the way, you saw that Jensen was holding JJ. "Merry Christmas to you too baby. And a very special Merry Christmas to you JJ!" You tickle her little belly that was covered by her Christmas onesie that you had gotten for her a few days ago. "So, how does a nice warm breakfast sound and then a few gifts before everyone arrives?" Jensen says and you smile taking JJ from his arms. "We would love that. Will be down in a sec, gotta change into my matching onesie with my girl." Jensen rolled his eyes getting of the bed and you quickly got your onesie on and headed downstairs.
"Well look at you two. How adorable." Jensen whipped his hand on the towel before grabbing the pan handle and bringing it to the table. You set JJ in her seat next yours at the table. "Hey, it's okay to be jealous, I know we look great in these." You scoff and before you can sit down, Jensen grabs your waist and keeps your back facing his chest. "I do gotta say, you so look pretty hot in your onesie. Might have to rip if off ya later." You smirk. "Oh yeah, I might just have to just let you do that later." Jensen kisses down your neck and you give a small moan but stop right when you hear JJ giggle. "I think maybe we should not do this in front of out daughter anymore." You laugh at JJ laughing and Jensen let's you go before sitting down and enjoying the beautiful breakfast.
After breakfast, a few presents were opened around the tree and the rest saved for later with the family. Jensen had gotten you a matching bracelet and necklace that had "Best Mother" engraved in them. You had gotten Jensen his own matching onesie along with some new tools for the house and the best of all, his own boat. "You got me a boat!?" Jensen stood in awe in the driveway as you stood back holding JJ in your arms. "Well, you did get me a jet, so why not?! Now we can go out on the water whenever we want to." "Thanks Babe!" Jensen kisses you before moving back inside. You and Jensen got JJ some new toys and a "Baby's first Christmas" ornament to hang on the tree.
What made the day even better was the ending with family all around the dining room table, laughs heard all around, and the stories never ending. This Christmas was one you and Jensen were never going to forget that's for sure.

March 16th - First Steps - JJ ten months
"Jensen where are you? I think she is almost ready." You state to Jensen who is running late from the airport. He insisted on flying home when you had called to tell him JJ was getting the urge to walk. Being so far away all the time, Jensen always wanted to be there for the big moments. The first words, which he won that battle, the first steps, first day at school, all the firsts. He loved his video calls with his girls but it wasn't the same.
"I'm coming, I'm coming. Jared go faster!" You hear the last part a bit muffled. "Hey, if you want to get a speeding ticket, I'll pull over and you can drive Jay." You heard Jared bark and Jensen and you wanted to slap Jensen upside the head for yelling at his friend.
"Hey Mr. don't you be yelling at Jared. You get here safe and sound. Gen is on her way over too so that Jared and her will stay for dinner after you two arrive. Oh, Hi Jared. Sorry my husband is being an ass." You see JJ struggling to pull her self up from the floor but countlessly falling back onto her bum.
"Hey (Y/n). And it's no problem. I've been dealing with his ass for so many years, this isn't even the half of it. But I get it, I was anxious to get home when Gen told me when the kids were beginning to walk. It's all the firsts, you don't want to miss them." You can hear the care in Jared's voice and you can tell how much this will mean to Jensen to get home. You see a pair of headlights in the drive way and assume it's Gen. "Hey guys, Gen just pulled up. I'm gonna hang up, get here soon."
"Okay babe. And if I miss it, tape it, please." Jensen pleaded. "No, don't say that. You'll get home. I love you." "I love you too." You both hang up the phone and Gen pops through the front door. "Hey, the boys home yet?" She asks and she takes off her jacket and shoes. "No," You turn back around to see JJ crawling around the living room. "I just don't want Jay to miss this. Being gone all the time takes a toll on him enough but missing one of the 'firsts' would kill him." Gen comes behind you and gives you a side hug. "They will be here soon, she'll wait. She is a daddy's girl after all." Gen says and you both smile.
About 10 minutes later, while you and Gen are talking on the couch, you see JJ begin to stand with the help of the coffee table again. "Gen, I think she might try this time." You set down your coffee and grab your phone sitting next to you. Pressing play you move closer to JJ. "Hey Baby, you gonna walk? You gonna walk to Momma?" You coo and JJ giggles while moving her feet up and down, still holding onto the coffee table for balance. "Momma Momma!" JJ says and you smile wider. "Yes baby. Momma's here. You can do it, you can do it."
And just as JJ was about to move away from the coffee table, you three heard the front door wham open and see Jensen race towards the living room. He smiles at you and then to JJ. "Daddy!" JJ smiles and looks at Jensen. "Yes baby. I'm here, I'm here. You gonna walk to me? Huh? Are those little legs ready?" Jensen gets closer and sits a few feet from JJ in the living room. You pull back to get a better angle to record from. JJ lets go from the table and takes her time walking into Jensen's open arms. "Go JJ. You can do it! Only a bit more." Gen says from the side and you smile at her. "Almost baby, almost." You say and JJ makes it to Jensen and he wraps her in his arms.
"Look at you! You did it, and you waited for me. Good girl." Jensen gives JJ kisses all over and you shut off your camera and move closer to your baby and husband. "I taped it all, so we can relive it again and again." Jensen kisses your lips and you move in closer. The rest of the night was filled with celebrating and come amazing food.

May 30th - First Birthday - JJ one year
You invited everyone you knew. JJ turning one was a huge deal to you and Jensen. Many cast members of Supernatural had shown up, your family, as well as Jensen's, Jared and his family, and Misha with his.
The beautiful Austin day was spent at your home, enjoying the pool and the friendly comradery. Everyone wanted to pass around JJ and you had no problem sharing her around. Your mother couldn't get over how fast she was growing and that a year had gone by already. Your brother cuddled JJ close and promised her anything she wanted when she got older.
Once Jensen and Jared had finished grilling and the food was served, everyone dove in. It was beyond perfect and absolutely delicious.
"Okay, now for the best part! Will everyone gather around to sing happy birthday to JJ." You held JJ in your lap with Jensen videoing everyone who started to sing. "Happy birthday day dear JJ, happy birthday to you!" Everyone finished and they erupted in cheers. You ordered a special small cake for JJ then a larger one for everyone else.
"Okay baby, blow out the candle." JJ looked up to you and watched you intently as you showed her how to blow out her candle. Facing the cake, with all the strength she could muster up, JJ blew out her candle and more claps were made. "You wanna try some?" You asked and she nodded. You swiped you finger around the edge and put your finger into her mouth. Her eyes went wide and you could tell she wanted more. She pulled your finger out of her mouth and leaned foreword, sticking both of her hands into her cake and grabbing handfuls to shove in her face. "JJ!" You laughed along with everyone else. Cake was all over your face, even on her forehead. You bent lower to her face so your mother could get a picture and at the last second JJ threw a clump of cake at you face. "Hey, we don't throw things. But, cake I'll allow." You laugh and see Jensen with a huge smile on his face, and yours turned into a smirk.
"Jay, come closer so my mom can get a picture of the three of us." Jensen turned off his phone and came behind you and JJ. You mother took the picture and Jensen began whipping the cake from JJ's face. "How did you get cake of your forehead baby?" He asked through a laugh. "Like this!" You said and threw a piece of cake at Jensen's forehead. "Hey, you were the only Ackles that didn't have cake on their face!" Jensen laughed and leaned in for a kiss and you gladly accepted. "I love you, my crazy wife." Jensen whispered against your lips. "I love you too, may cake covered husband, and baby." You tickled JJ and she giggled making your heart warms. JJ's first birthday was perfect and was everything you hoped for, memories to surly last forever.
*Flash Forward
July 30th - Sneaking On Story Time - JJ three years old
You slowly moved towards JJ's room as you wanted to listen to Jensen read JJ her bedtime story.
"Once there was a little girl who couldn't do anything right. Not that she didn't try!" Jensen started off. "Do I do things right daddy?" "Of course you do J-Bird." You heard a soft kiss and then a cough from Jensen.
"In the morning, when she brushed her teeth, the toothpaste wouldn't stay on the brush. When she dresses herself, the front was always in the back and the back was always in the front. Exhibit A, this morning when you were trying to put your shirt on yourself." Jensen laughed and JJ giggled by his side. You and Jensen went on and off for story time, sometimes together, but mostly whomever JJ chose, which was always Jensen. "What a Daddy's girl." You smiled and rolled your eyes.
"She tired to do her math at school but somehow two plus two never made four. She tired to feed her does, but the cat got fed instead. She helped with the groceries, but some things couldn't be helped. Day after day went by, and the little girl got very discouraged." Jensen continued on and you could listen to him for hours. The way his voice was hushed for JJ but always encouraging, it made you super engaged yet also very relaxed.
"One afternoon, after school, the little girl was rushing home. She raced across the yard and through the back door of her house and ran into her Aunt Emma. Her Aunt Emma had brought the little girl a very special locket. She said, "This was given to me by my mother and I want you to have it. it is a magical locket. If you wear it, it can help you do whatever you want. That is, if you believe in it." Jensen paused to turn the page.
"The following morning, as soon as she woke up, the little girl put on the locket again, held it tightly, and said, "I believe in you." She held it again the next morning, and the next, and the next. And here's what happened." "What happened Daddy?" JJ asked. "You gotta wait and listen baby girl." Jensen told her.
"When she brushed her teeth, the toothpaste stayed right on the brush. When she dressed herself, the front was in the front and the back was in the back. When she did math, two plus two equaled four. When she fed her dolls, everyone enjoyed the party except for the cat." JJ laughed and Jensen couldn't help himself but laugh too.
"The little girl was overjoyed. She really could do everything she wanted to do! One morning, when she was putting on the locket, it slipped through her fingers and fell to the floor." Jensen said. "Oh no! Is it okay daddy?" JJ asked. "Well, Lets find out." Jensen cooed.
"When the locket fell, it snapped open. The little girl bent down to pick it up and was very surprised to see what was inside. Inside the locket was a mirror, and in the mirror was her very own reflection. "Why, it's me!" She thought. "It's really me. I'm the magic locket." From then on, the little girl wore the locket every day. Every day she held the locket tightly and whispered, "I believe in you." The locket was filled with her own special magic and from that day on she was never without it. The End baby girl."
"I want a magic locket like that Daddy!" JJ cheered. "Well, you're in luck. I happen to have one right here. Now this is your own very, very special locket. It even has your name on the front. You wear this and you will always be the best little girl ever." Upon that, you moved into the room and JJ's eyes lit up. "Momma Momma! Look what Daddy got me." JJ cheered and held up her locket. "Wow, baby, it's just as beautiful as you. Now, how about we set it on the side and you can wear it tomorrow okay?" You kiss your daughters forehead. "Okay Momma. Night Momma, Night Daddy." Jensen kissed JJ and you grabbed his hand after tucking in your girl tight. Jensen closed the door a bit and shut off the lights.
"She's gonna have that locket forever. You made her so happy." You kissed Jensen's lips. "Well, why not make both of my girls happy then." Jensen dug in his pocket and pulled out a black box and inside it rested a beautiful locket with (Y/n) engraved on the top. "Jensen, this is beautiful." You smiled with tears coming to your eyes. "Anything for my girls. But open it, look inside." Jensen said you didn't hesitate. What you found inside was one of your most favorited pictures of the three of you. It was on the boat and you brother had taken it. You closed the locket and wrapped your arms around Jensen's neck. "I love you so, so fucking much."
"I love you too baby girl. Always and forever."
