"Not fair!"
"It's not, is it?" I joked.
"You tricked me."
"But you admitted mine is more believable."
"You practically forced it upon me."
"Nope."
He sighed.
"What's wrong?"
"I don't feel right not telling you."
"Tell me what?"
"John did say he didn't want you to know, but he told me why he was going to ignore you."
"I'm probably going to regret this later, but why?"
"He's tired of your drama, and thinks you act the way you do for attention."
I stared.
"I didn't side with him, and he said he wasn't going to force anyone else to ignore you, but he highly suggested it, and he said he's going to tell the others, and I'm afraid some will side with him."
"I'm dramatic...?"
"No, you're not. You just show your emotions more strongly and some people may get tired of it."
"So he thinks I'm looking for pity..?"
Blyke said nothing.
I was hurt. I've been through so much in my life, but never would I have thought that someone would want to ignore me because I'm too dramatic..
Why must people pin their own problems on me? Why must I be the target for so many things? And now I've basically been backstabbed by my own closest friend and boyfriend? I should have known dating was a bad thing.
I sighed.
"You okay?"
"I'm fine."
"Kami, you look like you want to cry."
"I do."
"Then let it out."
"But I'm too dramatic!" Ack- now that sounds worse.
"No you're not, don't take this to heart."
"But at this very moment, I only have you."
"Despite what just happened, Isen is going to side with us."
"Sure?"
"Positive."
"Okay.."
He slid over and hugged me.
I hugged back and sighed.
After we released, I lied back down and closed my eyes. "I just wanna sleep."
"Then sleep, I'll be here with you."
I started trying to doze off, but I didn't feel comfortable. I rolled over, wrapping my arm around Blyke unknowingly, and suddenly felt comfort.
I've never felt comfort like that before. It feels.. safe. Like no one will hurt me. Like everything around me was quiet and peaceful.
I looked around and looked like I was flying through the clouds.
"Ahh, this feels nice."
Wind blowing in my hair, the graceful feeling of not being on my feet. I felt free for once.
I flew in and out of the clouds, enjoying the sight, until a dark figure appeared in front of me.
"H-hello?"
I suddenly had the sense of being overwhelmed, but why?
The figure said nothing, but started walking closer. As it got closer, everything around me faded into darkness. I then felt as if I were falling, but the falling wasn't ending.
They say you suddenly wake up when you almost die in a dream, but this doesn't feel like a dream or a nightmare.
The figure was right in front of me, and seemed to mumble something, and dissolved away.
I looked down and seen I was falling and was about to hit the ground.
"Ah!" I jumped up.
"What is it!" Blyke jumped and looked confused.
"Sorry, just had a weird dream.."
"Oh, it's fine."
I realized I was rotated to facing Blyke. Was I sleeping like this?
I got up, and decided to try flying for once. I started levitating, and Blyke watched.
"It's been awhile."
I then had a flashback to the falling again, and collapsed on the ground.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine." I stood up, feeling a sharp, burning sensation in my knee. "Ow.."
"You're bleeding."
I looked down and seen a huge hole with blood oozing out. "How the fuck..?"
"That's huge, and just for falling that small of a height? You shouldn't have gotten hurt at all."
I tried healing it, but it wouldn't work. The glow would appear, but nothing happened.
"What's happening?"
"What?"
"I can't heal myself."
"That's weird, I thought you were, it looks like you were."
"But I didn't feel anything change."
"Rewind the wound?"
"I'll try."
I tried and tried but nothing worked. Something's not right.
"Blyke?"
"Yeah?"
"My eyes are glowing, right?"
"Yeah."
"Then why is nothing working?"
He shrugged. "Try something different that isn't healing?"
I sighed, and tried teleporting. I was thinking of where to go, but I opened my eyes and I was still standing there.
"Nope."
"Strange."
"I'm going to head to my dorm and rest then, I guess.."
I walked off, feeling weaker than usual. I couldn't walk and my knee hurt like hell, literally. It was burning so bad I thought it was going to burn more and go straight through my entire leg.
"Hold up!" Blyke rushed over. "I'll help you, you can't walk straight."
"Thanks." My voice faded. I started to feel so weak I couldn't keep my eyes open.
I went more limp, and Blyke picked me up and carried me to my dorm.
He was saying something, but I didn't catch any of it. I could barely make out that he even spoke.
"Ehhhhh...." I groaned.
My knee felt numb. I tried so hard to open my eyes. It was difficult, but when I managed to do so, everything was blurry, but I could make out Blyke, Sera, and Amber all standing, talking to each other and glancing back at me.
I tried to turn my head to see my knee, which was painful as it is, and seen there was blood everywhere. It looked like the blood was soaking into the couch, and started staining it.
I started groaning again. "Bllllyke...." I tried to speak.
"Yeah?" I actually heard him this time.
"Just take.... me to the hos.... pital.."
"None of us have a way of transporting you, and you can't use your ability."
"Please...."
He turned to Sera. "Get Headmaster, he might be able to drive us there."
She nodded and hurried off.
"Amber, go get something so we can cover this wound for now."
"Just use... some of my clothes... I can buy more..."
"You heard her!" Blyke seemed anxious.
Amber rushes off and Blyke was stooping so he to be level with me.
"Blyke...?"
"Yes?"
"Thanks for everything..."
I then must have fell asleep or something, because I couldn't remember much after that.
