Christmas of 2022...
Phil's POV
I can't believe it.As of June,Dan and I are officially married.
Currently,we are sat at my mums house full of both mine and Dan's families,exchanging gifts.It was that time of night where all the adults were tipsy with eggnog.Dan kept refusing alcoholic drinks,insisting that he gets drunk easy.Even though it's true,Dan never passes up having a small drink.
He's just sat in the couch playing with April on his lap,occasionally getting up to try and get her walking.She's pretty good at it too.She walks about five steps at a time before stumbling over.She can even say "Daddy" and "Papa."
Time is flying by too fast.
Once we're finished handing our our presents,Dan hands me one more. It's an envelope with hearts all over it.I open it to find something incredible.
A positive pregnancy test and an ultrasound.
"Dan!You-I-We-We're having another baby!?" Everyone started to stare at me.Dan nodded. "Oh my god,we're having another baby!"
Everyone came up congratulating us.Dan continued to play with April, who was now placing her hands on his belly.There wasn't any bump yet, but that didn't matter to our eleven month old.She didn't even understand what was going on,but she was excited for a sibling.
"Papa!" She cried,holding her arms out for me.I happily pick her up.
"Hi,pumpkin!What's up?"
"Cookie!" She giggle.
"Did she just say another word?" Dan says as he looks at me, completely shocked.
"You are growing up so fast, pumpkin!" I say,tickling her.Her giggles are so sweet.
"I'll go get her a cookie," Dan said with a grin. "You want anything?"
"Just an eggnog."
"More of that stuff?You are on a roll,man." Dan laughs as he walks to the kitchen.
Slowly one by one all of us go to bed.With April finally asleep, Dan's cuddled up to me with his arms around my waist.He buries his head in my chest as I feel my shirt get wet.I hear small sobs as I notice Dan's phone keeps lighting up.
"Dan,what's the matter?"
"Hm?What?N-Nothing!"
"Don't lie to me."
"It's stupid..."
"Honey,I don't care how stupid it may sound.I need to know what's making you upset."
"I...I posted your reaction of finding out about the baby,and people are...talking."
"What do you mean?"
"Saying I'm a cockslut for getting pregnant again and shit like that.I told you,it's stupid."
"It's not stupid,they're stupid.I didn't marry a cockslut.I married the most caring and handsome man on the face of the earth."
He giggled at me. "No,I did."
"Jokes on you,my husband is prettier."
"Lies.My husband is."
"Fine," I laughed, "Both of our husbands are pretty great."
"Goodnight,Philly."
"Goodnight,Love." I said,placing a hand on his still-flat belly.
