A/N;
This is mostly a filler
It just talks about what's happening with people other than Harry & Draco before the wedding.

Enjoy. X

Astoria Greengrass evidently knew Draco was in love with Harry Potter. She saw it in the way he spoke about him, in the photos that were published in the Daily Prophet and Wizarding Weekly and how sad he was when at Narcissa Malfoy's home. But what she didn't know was she would receive an invite to his wedding to the Savior of the Wizarding World. When she received the letter, the envelope a crisp white color that had "Astoria Greengrass" written in elegant scroll across the middle, she hadn't a clue what it was. It hadn't even held the address of who sent it but once she opened it it clicked in her mind. When opening it up, she saw a piece of white parchment with text that stated the following;

Harry James Potter & Draco Malfoy would like to formally invite you to their wedding
taking place on the 18th of December at
three P.M sharp.

It'll be held in the London Park where guests
will be greeted with hot chocolate as
they are brought to their seats.

The couple hopes to see you there.

Astoria read it a few times, a bit taken aback that Draco had invited her to his wedding, but nevertheless flattered he had thought of her. She had informed Daphne that she would be gone for a few days, not giving exact details as to where she would be heading, and had packed some clothing, her favorite books, and on her way to London picked up a wedding present for the couple. Not knowing Potter or what he liked, she had gone for a beautiful set of antique glassware that she knew Draco would adore. Astoria knew her way around muggle stores as even though her family had believed muggles weren't anything but annoyance in the form of people, in a way of putting it nicely, she hadn't shared the same pure-blood beliefs her family had held for so long.

Walking around London, she enjoyed the scenes. Cars driving by, windows of shops decorated for the holidays, the large landmarks that brought many people from different areas of the world in to view. She enjoyed it all. Once she had completed her shopping, she found the location of the Ministry Of Magic by floo. Draco had told her all about his career as Head Healer and how Potter was Head Auror and she was ever so intrigued to see just how those jobs worked. She hadn't planned on working at the Ministry but was curious on how it worked. As she wandered the Ministry, greeting people as she passed, she soon found where the office of Healers sat.

Excited, she made her way through hallways and entrances and soon found herself standing in front of the door of Draco Malfoy's office. Noticing movement, Astoria smiled, raising her hand to knock on the door. Several moments went by before the door opening, a slender but muscular figure standing in the doorway.

"Draco!" She greeted.

Draco smiled at her. "Astoria." He said, gesturing for her to enter his office. She did so, hands clasped in front of her as she turned to look at him. "What are you doing here?"

"I got your invitation." She replied.

Draco nodded, smiling at her. "It was late, I know. A bit of short notice. Had I known sooner, you would've gotten it sooner as well."

Astoria waved a hand in dismissal. "It's all right. Our families aren't exactly on fantastic terms."

Both the Greengrass and Malfoy families held the same pure-blood beliefs, but after the war and the information of Draco's sexuality had risen the Greengrass family had no contact with the Malfoys. They held the same belief Lucius Malfoy held; love is between man and woman only. But alas, Astoria did not have such belief nor did Daphne.

"I'm glad you've come to London though. I thought you might not want to attend."

Astoria shook her head.

"After all we spoke about and the time we spent together I was flattered I had gotten the invitation and I was even more excited to be able to attend! I'm sure this wedding will be beautiful."

If they had still been in Hogwarts, Draco could see himself getting sick by how sweet Astoria was. But, he was an adult now with different morals and he thought it was lovely how kind Astoria was. He gestured for Astoria to sit by his desk, sitting at his chair as he watched her sit poised and proper. He would've laughed if he hadn't respected such proper elegance. Astoria looked around the office, noticing the framed photos that sat on Draco's desk. One was facing her direction, she saw. It was him and Harry, Hogwarts graduation. Draco had an arm wrapped around Harry's waist, lips against his cheek as Harry smiled widely. It was a still picture. Astoria smiled.

"That's beautiful." She said. Draco looked at her confused before his gaze followed hers.

"Oh! Thank you."

Astoria nodded, smiling. "You're welcome."

The two sat in silence for sometime, Draco not quite sure what to say as Astoria admired the decor of his office. The desk was a dark wood, beautifully polished. Frames with art pieces hung up on the walls, a cabinet of potions on the left hand side of the room and as said several moving photos of either Draco and Harry together, or just Harry.

"Isn't quite professional, is it?" Astoria asked. Draco followed her gaze to the photos and laughed.

"I guess not. But, no one is in here often unless for business. Even then, that's a rarity in itself."

Astoria tilted her head slightly. "How so?"

"People tend to avoid working with me. They view me as an ex-Death Eater, although I was forced to take the Mark underage and refused to partake in most of what was asked of me."

Astoria frowned. "That isn't fair!"

"No. But after all, not a lot is fair in this world."

Astoria sighed but nodded a silent agreement. Once more silence took over the office, Draco messing idly with the quill that had been laying on his desk as Astoria admired the painting on the wall behind him. Her gaze soon fixated on Draco and she smiled when he had looked up at her.

"I got you a wedding gift. But since I don't know Potter, so I wasn't quite sure what he'd like."

"You didn't have to, Astoria. Thank you. And Harry likes anything, whether it be atrocious or not, if it has heart to it."

Astoria laughed. "It does. I promise." Draco smiled at her and Astoria smiled back, soon rising from the chair she was sat in. "I think I should head to where I'm staying. I found this lovely muggle.. hotel, I think they call it. It's beautiful!"

Draco arose from his chair, eyebrows furrowed. "I believe Hermione Granger once told me about those." Astoria nodded, watching as Draco walked over to her.

"Hermione Granger? Isn't that who's going to be taking the Minster's spot?"

Draco nodded. "Yes."

"Isn't that lovely! I don't believe we've ever had a Madam Minster."

Draco shrugged. "It will definitely be interesting."

"I know you aren't much of a hugger, but," Astoria said, wrapping her arms around Draco. "I'm going to hug you anyway."

Draco was hesitant, arms out awkwardly as Astoria hugged him. It was quite long, too. But, much to the relief of Draco, there was a knock on the door and it opened to reveal a tired and aggravated-looking Harry.

"Potter!" Draco exclaimed, thankful he had such impeccable timing. Astoria let go of Draco and turned around, smiling at Harry.

"Hello." She greeted.

Harry gave Astoria this look of confusion before doing the same at Draco.

"Harry, this is Astoria Greengrass. Astoria, this is my fiancé, Harry Potter."

"It's nice to meet you." Astoria went to go walk over to Harry, hand stretched in greeting. Harry jumped slightly, not comfortable with new people in the slightest. Whether he be doing well or not, he still had the smallest fear that people would hurt him. She frowned, retracting her outreached hand. "I'm sorry."

Harry knew that everyone knew what had happened to him and even though he hated it, it had been inevitable. Harry shook his head at Astoria, smiling slightly. "It's all right. It's nice to meet you too." Astoria nodded, smile still evident.

"I've invited her to the wedding." Draco informed. Harry raised his brows at him.

"Really?"

"I'll explain later, yeah?"

Harry nodded.

"Well, I best be on my way." Astoria said, looking at Draco. "I'll see you on your wedding day?"

"Maybe in the morning? I'm sure Pansy would love some help."

"Oh, absolutely! I'd love to be of use."

Draco smiled. "Great."

Astoria nodded at him before she looked back at Harry who moved away from the door. "Congratulations!" She said before leaving the office. Harry closed the door, looking back at Draco.

"Astoria Greengrass?"

"Daphne Greengrass' little sister. Daphne was in Slytherin, our families know each other and I spent time with her when I was with my mother."

Harry frowned. "Oh."

Draco shook his head, gesturing for Harry to come over to him as he leaned against his desk. Harry obliged, settling between Draco's legs. "Do I have to inform you, yet again, that I love you? Not to mention, I'm gay."

Harry snorted, soon hiding his face in the crook of Draco's neck. "No, I know." He mumbled against the soft, warm skin of Draco's neck. Draco smiled.

"All right then."

As Draco and Harry began to discuss how much Hermione and Pansy were bothering them both with wedding preparations, Neville was with Blaise wandering the streets of London as they attempted to find the perfect wedding gift for Harry and Draco. It was tough, Neville didn't know Draco well and Blaise didn't know Harry well. They'd find a gift that Neville thought Harry would love, only to be told by Blaise that Draco would find it "atrocious and unfitting of a Malfoy", such as the tapestry Neville had found. It was a battle between what the two would both like compared to what one would like and the other would settle for. Though they knew at the end of the day neither cared about gifts, Blaise and Neville were determined to make their best friends happy.

Soon, Blaise found a customizable frame that was silver detailed wood. He and Neville knew right then and there was they were getting the almost-newlyweds. When they brought it up to the clerk and he had asked what they wanted it customized with, that took them sometime to figure out.

"Maybe a simple 'I love you', considering we're putting a photo of them in the frame?" Neville said and Blaise shook his head.

"No! No. It has to be better than that, love."

Neville frowned, but an inevitable blush came across his cheeks. "Fine then, you think of something."

"I already have! How about 'Vous êtes tout ce dont j'ai besoin'?"

Neville made this look, this confused expression with a hint of amusement, as he looked at his boyfriend. "What the bloody hell does that mean?"

"You're all I'll ever need."

Neville went to say something, but closed his mouth and nodded. It did work perfectly, but he wouldn't admit that aloud. After they told the clerk, he had wasted no time in getting it done with fifteen minutes for them. Once they had split the cost for the frame and left the shop, Neville grabbing Blaise's gloved hand as snow blew towards them in the wind, they headed to their favorite coffee shop where they had had their first date. As Neville sat in the corner by the large window, desperately trying to feel warm again, Blaise headed to the counter to get them some hot drinks. When he came back, he pulled the chair from the other side of the table to Neville, sitting down beside him as he handed him the hot chocolate.

Neville smiled, taking a quick sip of the steaming drink before he had moved closer to Blaise, resting his head on the man's shoulder as he shivered from the cold they'd been in. Blaise rested a hand on Neville's thigh, quietly drinking his tea as he looked out the window, watching the snow blow by.

"Do you think they'll like it?" Neville asked. "The frame?"

Blaise nodded. "Of course! Draco especially. Then again, he might like the picture more than the frame." Neville laughed, taking another sip of his hot chocolate. The two were excited to see Harry and Draco finally together and they couldn't wait for the wedding day, just like everyone else. Three days until the wedding now, and much was still needed to be prepared for. Yet they all - Hermione, Ron, Neville, Blaise, Pansy, Narcissa, Molly Weasley - had no doubt that it would go by beautifully.
