Ivy's POV
'Oh! By the way!' Red suddenly says, 'I got 4 tickets to San Diego Comic-Con in three weeks!'
'Oh my god! Are you serious?' I gush.
'Yeah!! I would never joke about Comic-Con!'
'I actually can't go...' Mels mumbles.
'What?! It's THE event of the year! What's more important than Comic-Con!' I shout.
'It's just... a bit too crowded for me.'
'Alright... So who's else coming?'
'I guess we take Eric?' Sky suggests.
'Really? You want to take me? I'm just an intern!' Eric asks excitingly.
'Yeah, I mean we're not gonna let a ticket go to waste...' Sky answers.
'Do we have to dress up though?' I ask.
'Of course!' Red and Sky both shout in excitement,
'But... I don't wanna dress up...' I whine.
'Just at least put on a Hufflepuff robe over your regular clothes like a Muggle-born.' Sky sasses.
'Fine!'
After the workday, I go home to Niall and tell him the great news!
'Niall!! You'll never believe what happened at work today!' I jump up and down in excitement.
'What?' He chuckles.
'I'm going to San Diego Comic-Con!'
'When is that?'
'In three weeks from the 18th till the 21st of July!'
'Oh, perfect, I'm not gonna be here then.'
'What? Where are you going?'
'London... Well the UK in general but mostly London, I have a couple of shows lined up.'
'Aww! That's great! I'm sure you're gonna be great! When will you be back?'
'Thank you, Princess. I'll be here Monday Night? Maybe. Yeah, something like that'
'Alright! Have fun baby!'
'Thank you! You too! Although, can't really say I know what you're talking about. But you're very excited! So I'm happy for you!'
I laugh slightly, he's so adorable!!
'It's an event where comic fans gather and there's a lot of stuff that happens, there are' booths, you buy geeky stuff, you dress up as your favourite characters, and often there are celebrity guests. The one in San Diego is the biggest one, and all of the actors of the series and movies I watch go there and they have like panels and stuff and answer fan questions and meet and greets! it's amazing!'
'Oh! Sounds awesome! Are you gonna dress up?'
'Yeah, I kinda have to...'
'You don't sound too excited about it.'
'It's just, there's too many to pick from and I'm kind of not comfortable with wearing costumes. Especially since I imagine how hot and tiring it's gonna be.'
'Oh okay. Well if you do, I'd prefer it if you don't wear anything leathery, spandex, anything too tight or you know, revealing...'
'Niall Horan! Are you telling me what I can and cannot wear?' I shout dramatically.
'No, I would never! You can do and wear whatever you want! It was a suggestion, you don't really have to listen to it.'
'Relax, I don't like wearing stuff like that anyway.'
'I knew I picked the right girl.'
'I know right!'
The weeks went by, and it's finally Comic-Con weekend. I'm not gonna bore you with the geeky stuff, let's just skip to Sunday Night, the last night in San Diego. So the convention ended, we are not coming back to LA before Monday early afternoon, so we're celebrating our first Comic-Con together. Naturally, there's a certain amount of drinks involved. Unfortunately, unlike most of us responsible adults who know how to have fun responsibly, Eric was drunk. And it was starting to get ugly. Red and Sky were who knows where probably talking with girls they just met. So I was left alone to take care of the kid. He was always nice and polite, always talking to me and stuff. He never really crossed the line. But tonight, he just got so annoying, all flirty and handsy. I keep pushing him off. He knows I have a boyfriend. Why is he acting like this? I'm starting to get sick. I miss Niall I need to call him. It's 11 PM here so it must be around 7 AM he's still sleeping I can't talk to him. I try texting Sky.
'Where are you? I need help. Eric is being annoying. I wanna go back to the hotel.'
He doesn't respond. Same thing with Red. So I decide to just take a cab and go to the hotel on my own.
'Where are you going?' Eric asks holding my wrist tightly. I try to get out of his grip but it's too strong.
'Back to the hotel, I'm sick of here. It's too loud and crowded.'
'I'll come with you!'
'No! You stay here. Have fun and stuff.'
'No, you can't go alone, you need protection. Red will kill me if he knew I let you go to the hotel alone. You know how he gets.'
'I can manage thanks!'
I push him off and storm out. I take the first cab I can get back to the hotel. I text Sky again because calling him is getting me nowhere.
'I'm going to the hotel. Find Red and come RIGHT NOW!'
When I get to the hotel, I look everywhere around me, I don't feel safe, Eric is scaring me and I'm all alone. I need Niall! I wish he was here right now. This wouldn't have happened if Niall was here. I'm waiting for the elevator. I'm still paranoid. When they get here and the doors start opening I look at my right, to the door of the lobby and Eric just came in. I quickly get inside the elevator and keep pressing the close button so that the doors would close before I get trapped with him. Thankfully I made it. I hope he doesn't take the stairs though. We're only on the 3rd floor, he could easily catch up in time.
I make my way through the corridors, going straight to my room, which doesn't really make me feel any safer we've all got adjacent rooms and he's next door to mine. Why couldn't Mels just come instead?
He catches up to me before I can get to my door. He pins me against the wall, I kick him to push him off of me, but he got angry instead. I can't even understand what he was saying, I'm just thinking about how I can get out of this situation without getting hurt. I keep thinking of Niall, trying to get courage from him. I put as much effort as I can to push him off me, of course, he doesn't like it so I guess out of anger, he pushes me, I feel my left side hitting a doorknob, I lose my balance but thankfully, Sky is here now. He helps me up, and that's when I notice Red beating up Eric.
'Sky, make them stop. He's not worth it, he's drunk and an idiot. Just make him leave please.'
I sit on the floor because I can't stand up from the pain. I watch as Sky pull them off of each other.
'Red, calm down, go take care of Ivy. I got it.'
Red walks over to me, he gets my room's door to open, holds me up and help me to the bed.
'Are you okay, did he hurt you?'
'No, I'm fine. I guess just a bruise, from the doorknob.'
'Are you sure? What if you have a broken rib or something?'
'I'd know it if something was broken. I'm fine. Just I don't want to see him ever again.'
Sky enters the room.
'Oh my god, are you okay? What the hell happened?' Sky asks worriedly.
'He was drunk. I'm fine. Nothing happened. Did you get rid of him?'
'Yeah, he's gonna check out and leave. I also obviously fired him. You won't see him ever again.'
'Thank you. Sorry for all this trouble.'
'Please, you don't need to apologize. You didn't do anything wrong. He's the monster!' Sky comforts me.
'Thanks. But Red, you shouldn't have hit him'
'What? And let him get away with this? No! Absolutely not! I stand by what I did.'
'I just don't like violence.'
'Okay. Sorry, I'll try to contain myself next time. Not that we'll let anything like that happen. You're safe with us. I'm really sorry we weren't here for you tonight.'
'Yeah, we're really sorry. If we were here, none of this would've happened.'
'It's okay, none of us knew he'd be like that. Can we just forget about it? I wanna sleep it off and go home.'
'Sure, Goodnight!' they both say, leaving a kiss of my forehead before leaving.
Now, I just have to figure out what to tell Niall. I don't know how he'll react to this. I'm really worried about his reaction. Maybe I just don't tell him? I don't know, I'll figure it out tomorrow.
