Raven
We make it back to the agency, but before anyone can say or do anything I run into another room and lock myself in. I can't deal with their questions and staring right now, I just need time to find myself again. So much has happened and it's only been about two weeks. In the span of those two weeks I've nearly been or have been killed, I don't even know at this point. Shot at and been shot, chased down, been in multiple fights, taken, thrown into walls and across counters. The list could probably go on, but I guess it wasn't just bad, I also found Jackson, Tyler and everyone else again, I got my memory back, I'm able to sing and dance and do everything I love, and I've made friends along the way. And then there is still something that is more important than all of that. I can't get what he said out of my head.
(Flashback)
"Rae you don't want to do this. You don't know what's at stake and what you're losing." He is begging for his life as I strangle him while having him suspended in air.
"What I'm losing! I've lost enough already due to you so now I'm done, I'm going to finish what my parents started, what I was meant to do." Nothing until this moment seemed right.
"You sure? If you kill me you're losing another member of your family." My grip loosens. It's harder for him to talk as my grip kept getting tighter, but I want to hear what he has to say.
"What are you talking about?"
"Your sister." It comes out so fast I can't even process it. I didn't realized my energy had taken over until I realize what I'm doing. I died or almost did and my anger took control of me and my energy came out. But my sister, what does she have to do with this? I had somehow had the will to let him go.
He gets up and comes close to me, "You have two options. One, come to the designated place at five o'clock and I'll let your sister free by trading you. Or you don't come and then she dies. Also no one can come or follow you or I will not hesitate to kill her and I'll make sure it's in front of you. I must go now. Hope to see you soon." He disappears in a cloud of darkness and I still can't process it. Abby died, or I thought he killed her unless he's lying or actually never did. Bridget runs up to me and starts to hug me, but I can't think about her or anyone else right now.
The room comes back into view around me and I guess I managed to make it to the little bed or cot thing in the room. Looking at the clock it reads four thirty. Something buzzes in my pocket, opening it there was an address with the message- alone, five o'clock.
A long time ago mom had me promise something very important and I gave her that promise.
"Rae I want you to have this." She takes off her necklace and puts it around my neck.
"But mom I can't, this is yours and you wear it all the time. What if it breaks and-"
"Rae it's ok. It's meant for you, it's always been and now it's your time to take it. You'll be ok, but I need you to promise me one thing." I look up at her and shake my head yes. "No matter what happens you'll watch out for the people you love, especially your sister. She's not like you guys and is going to need you in case anything happens." Tears start to run down my face and she pulls me into a hug. "It'll be ok." Pulling away she comes down onto her knees bringing me with her. "Just remember whenever you need me I'll be right here." She points towards my heart. I smile back then point to the spot where her mark is on my shoulder and the necklace.
"Here and here too." She smiles back and wipes away a tear.
"Never forget us. Your love is your strongest weapon. No matter how much power you possess the people around you and their love is the strongest thing that can ever help you fight and make decisions. Love can do a lot. Never forget who you are inside, even if people don't agree with your decisions do what's best for you and the people around you because then you'll survive and make it in this messed up world. Do you promise me you'll follow this and take this into consideration when you're older?"
"I promise."
And I'll keep that promise forever. My memory disappears and looking at the time it was already four forty five. I'll make my own decisions and even if it doesn't seem ok right now it will in the long run. Getting up I open the door to Bridget standing there about to knock.
"Oh I was about to see if you were ok we were all worried and-" I cut her off and walk right by not saying a word. "Rae?" Everyone looks our way, but I keep walking. They won't let me do it if they knew, he'll never let me go.
"Let you go where?" Shit forgot he can read my thoughts.
I remember my parents telling me about special abilities we will all possess in the future. Everyone will get one and I will get them all plus one of my own. Because I nearly died, I guess it allowed the powers to come out. If I remember correctly there was mind reading, being able to see visions, super hearing, being allowed to listen closely to someone's heart and body movements so you can tell their emotions or if they're lying and creating shields. Guess Jackson can read minds.
"Get out of my head Jackson." I don't even turn around to answer him.
"Where are you going Rae? What's going on?" He starts to walk towards me, but I start to walk forward keeping the same amount of steps between us. "Rae tell me." I was going to tell him. I just can't. "And why can't you." Ugh! Get out of my head! Throwing my arms to the side I feel him grab his head behind me and I feel a surge of pain. I hurt him somehow and I don't even know how.
Turning around fast he's on his knees grabbing his head. Tyler looks at me then instantly the same thing happens.
"Rae y-you." Bridget starts to point at me, but I don't understand what she means.
"What?"
"One of the special abilities is creating force fields to block people out. I remember your mom telling me about your extra abilities. She didn't know who had what, but said one day they will all be unlocked. " After Kelly's done I realize what I'm doing and try to stop. I need to get out of here because I can't deal with all the questions and stuff.
"Rae stop! Please don't go." I can hear the fear in Bridget's voice, but I have to do it.
"I'm sorry I need to this." Walking out of the building before I can hear more from them and change my mind.
Jumping on a bike I speed out of there. I can't stay. This is what I need to do.

I get to the building and just stare up at it as my emotions run wild around me. It's here where everything went bad, where my life changed. The warehouse.
I can't believe he's still using this place after so many years. I can't believe I'm here, it could most likely be a trap. Well I guess there's no time to go back now. Walking towards the doors when I finally make it I stop, take a deep breath, and then open them.
Slowly walking in the doors slam behind me and a light flicks on shining right on me just like a spotlight on a stage. Great this doesn't feel like a movie scene at all where the bad guy now has you and you're helpless waiting for your hero to save you, but my only hero is me today.
"Well look who decided to show up." All the lights flicker on and Zack appears with Jasper next to him. I have no idea how he got him on his side, but I don't care right now.
"Where is she." I'm straight to the point just wanting to get this over with.
"Wow straight to the point, but ok I understand." He motions towards someone and then two guys walk out holding what looked like a girl around my age.
It takes her a second to look up, but when she finally does her eye's light up and in that moment I knew he wasn't lying. She looks exactly like mom. They all had these brown eyes with honey colored hair and Tyler had his blue eyes while I had light brown hair now black and green eyes which are now blue and green. She tries to run towards me, but they don't let her.
Turning back towards Zack I realize what needs to be done, "I'm here ok, so let her go and bring her back to everyone else." His classic smile appears and they start to walk away. "Wait! Please let me say goodbye." I want to say goodbye before I'm stuck here for who knows how long.
"Fine." They let her go and she comes running towards me.
We crash into each other and fall into a heap of hugs and tears onto the floor.
"No matter what happens stay strong. You're ok now." I whisper into her ear wanting this to be a moment just between the two of us. Of course everyone is still watching us very carefully so it's not just the two of us.
"No don't do this I'm fine. I know what they are going to do and I can't let it happen. Please Raven." I haven't heard her voice in so long and she's even calling me by my full name which people have been mentioning here and there recently. Pulling her away I look her in the eyes while my hands stay firmly on her shoulders.
"Listen to me I promised mom along time ago I would do what's right and keep you all safe. The only way to do that is to be here. I'll be ok. Now go and finally live your life." The tears start to come again and we hug before Zack split us up.
"That's enough one of you take her and you come with me." We are being pulled apart and Abby starts to scream and cry trying to get back to me. There's no use though, the men are too strong. Before Zack pulls me too far I stop.
"She's going home right." It sounds more like an order then a question, but I don't care.
"Yes of course. A deal's a deal." He's telling the truth and I know he means it because it's another one of those powers I possess. "Well now that's taken care of we can be on our way-" He is suddenly cut off by a few of his men rushing through the doors I entered just moments before.

Surprise, Abby, Tyler and Ravens sister is still alive. Did any of you expect that? And what do you think caused the guards to come running through the doors at the end of the chapter?
