I arrived in India on November 14, 1984, to the Ashram of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, and remained either there or following him to various places, until December 1993. During that time, I wrote all details of my daily life to my family in California, USA. My mother loyally saved every one of my letters and later sent them to me in India, where I busied myself typing them up - in most cases, completely and unedited. The file on my computer is over 600 pages long! I am now copying and pasting all the letters in installments onto 抖阴社区, for the enjoyment of devotees. The first part covers the years 1984-1988 (due to the 抖阴社区 limit being 100 Chapters per book). This Part Two covers the years 1988-1993.
Disclaimer: These are my own, personal experiences. I came to the Ashram when I was only 18 years old in 1984, and I may have written sweeping statements as if I understood exactly how everything worked and how everyone was. This is NOT to be taken as fact or the last word in truth. Ah, to be young and feel we know it all! Please take all sweeping statements with a grain of salt and understand that I described situations as I saw things at that age and at that time in my life.
