Jeremy's Point Of View
Jeremy's been all by himself. No one would talk to him. No one believes him. Michael just pushes him away. What is happening?
Reader's Point Of View
I feel fine and great most of the time but there are some moments when I don't know what's going on. I forget who I am and what I'm doing. I don't know.
Michael and I were making out and I looked over and saw his copy of Apocalypse of the Damned and it was like everything got a clearer visually, but mentally foggier. I didn't know where I was or what I was doing. It keeps happening and I don't understand it. It makes me dizzy. I pulled back from his mouth and balanced myself on my knees on the bed, because I had been leaning on top of him.
"What's wrong?" Micheal asked me.
"Michael?" I didn't understand what was happening. "What- What's going on?"
"What do you mean babe?"
"Why am I-" I looked at him and his eyes sparkled. It was beautiful. He was beautiful. "-not kissing you right now?" I finished my sentence and continued kissing him.
Michael's Point Of View
What was that?
What are you talking about Michael?
Why was Y/N suddenly confused that I'm with her right now?
It may have been a glitch.
I thought you said you weren't going to change her... just highlight me.
I did. But I had to enhance her feelings for you Michael. Otherwise you wouldn't be holding her in your arms right now.
I guess that makes sense. But-
No, Michael. No. You know I'm right. Don't question it.
Yeah. Yeah, you're right. I'm sorry.
Jeremy's Point Of View
Jeremy was knocking on Rich's door. No one came.
"Rich. Rich please!" Jeremy said through the door.
Still no one came.
"Rich I need your help!"
"I have nothing to say to you Jeremy." Rich replied through the door.
"Why won't any of you guys talk to me? What'd I do?!"
The door opened. "You cut up Michael's hand in hospital because he kissed Y/N when he was squipped!"
"What?" Jeremy was confused.
"He was squipped Jeremy! It wasn't his fault! He couldn't control what he was doing! You should know that! You and I both know that!"
"Rich- Rich, hold up. Wait- Stop." Jeremy kept trying to get a word in but Rich kept going until he yelled, "Listen to me!"
"What possible explanation could you have?"
"I never touched Michael, Rich! I honestly don't know what you're talking about."
"Don't fuck with me Jeremy."
"I'm not fucking with you. You have to believe me!"
"Why? Why should I believe you? You've lied to me, Michael never has."
"Because you and I both know what it's like to have that manipulative voice inside our heads. We both know how it can affect someone. How hard it is to fight it and see past the lies and deceit." Rich started to think about what Jeremy was saying. "Don't you think it's a little strange that Y/N is suddenly magically in love with Michael?-"
"You're starting to sound a bit jealous now. That doesn't help your case Jere."
"No, Rich. Listen, think about it. It's like what the SQUIP tried to tempt me with during the play last fall with Christine. He was going to give me Christine if I complied with him, and he would've won if Michael hadn't been there."
"He's doing to Michael what he did to you last year!" Rich finished.
"Exactly! That's what I'm trying to say!" Jeremy said, relieved that Rich finally understands what he's been trying to say.
"It makes sense. But how... How would that explain Y/N? She doesn't have a SQUIP and I thought Michael deactivated the SQUIP inside of him."
"Michael only overpowered it. I think he was only temporarily himself back at the warehouse. The SQUIP's done something to his head. He's not Michael anymore. And Y/N... I mean the SQUIP's gotten really powerful. I feel like Y/N wouldn't even need a SQUIP herself for it to have power over her. I mean, she's been squipped before. Maybe there's something left. I don't know. Will you please just help me?"
"Yes, of course. Come in." Rich invited Jeremy in. "Now how're we gonna do this. How do we get rid of this fucker for good."
"We're gonna have to physically pull it out of him and physically destroy it, otherwise it'll just continue bouncing between us."
"I'll call up Oliver and Vanessa-" Rich said.
"No. This needs to be just us."
"Wha- Why?"
"The less people there, the less bodies it can possibly escape into."
"True, but don't you think we'll need them to take down Michael with the SQUIP."
"No. We need to get to Y/N first. We need to wake Michael up inside himself and show him that the SQUIP has changed him and Y/N."
Reader's Point Of View
I was laying in bed with Michael. It was about 4 in the morning and I got up to go to the bathroom. I turned down the hallway and saw a familiar face. "Rich? What're you doing here?"
"I'm sorry Y/N. It's for your own good." Rich said.
"Why're you-"
I was cut off as I felt a hand grasp my arm and insert a needle into my skin.
"Are you sure this'll work?" Jeremy said to Rich.
"I took it from Derek's doctor stuff. It's an anesthesia aid. It should-"
"What if it's for something else?!" Jeremy yell whispered.
"No it's okay. See? She's..."
The words were blurry and fuzzy as were they're faces. I slumped down and fell back into Jeremy's arms.
