It was a regular morning for me. Prak was still sleeping in her room. I decided to make her a wonderful break fast as she most of the times used to skip it for sleeping like a donkey. I wanted to make her feel special. I went into the kitchen and tried to do everything silently. But silence... that too in kitchen is very difficult. I did make noise and I guess... it woke her up. "What r u doing Darsh?", she hugged me from back and then rubbing her eyes, she asked. "Making break fast for the most beautiful girl...", I answered. "U needn't do that...", she said yawning. "I need to coz I don't want u to skip meals again...", I said and she again hugged me from back and said, "You are the best boy friend in the world...". "Boy friend? I guess I had a promotion...", I chuckled and she said, "And yes... u r the best fiancée ". "Now that's what called a promotion.... now go... get fresh... I will get u your break fast...', I said with urgency. "Hmm...", she nodded and went out like a obedient kid.

"Hey... is it good?", I asked. "yes... actually the best...", she said rolling off her eyes. "D.... don't you think Aditi has changed a lot?", she asked. Aghh... not gain. "Yaar... at least not on the break fast table... I mean... yes I also care for her but... we can't think about her all the time, r8? she has her own....", the words got stuck in my throat. "Yes, her own?? say say...", she teased. "I mean... we can't take care of her like a little baby... it is her life... she needs to walk through it... we can't interfere in that and let's her also enjoy her life.", I lectured her and she said, "U think she is fine? what I can see in her are broken pieces which are to be put back....", she said. "Acha baba.... okay maharani... ab ho gya ho toh thoda romance kar le?", I asked naughtily. "That toh u do every time", she said as she got up. I held her wrist and said, "No... I won't leave you today...". "D... leave me... I am getting late... and u too", she said as she struggled to free herself. "We have had a relationship since 6 years but still u have never given me a kiss... now today u have to", I adamantly spoke. "Then why didn't u take it from me?", she questioned. "I can't force you na...", I replied trying to be savage but how can I be savage in front of the savage queen? "Then why r u forcing me today?", she asked as she glanced at the clock. "Darsh...it is damn late... we need to leave asap!", she yelled and almost ran out. I nodded my head negatively and headed for my office.

As soon as I reached the office, I saw Aditi explaining something to Kaushik, one employee. She was looking pretty... in fact very much pretty that day. The perfectly applied mascara and lip gloss stole my heart. I just skipped a heart beat. She looked at me once and then hesitantly moved her sight back to the computer screen. Wait.... was something wrong? I headed to my cabin moments later I found myself staring at her in the middle of the corridor which made me look like a creepy boss. Seconds later, I saw Aditi heading towards her cabin and as she went into her cabin, she lost herself into a file with a serious look and brows furrowed up. I called her to my cabin. Moments later my call, she was in my cabin. "Sir", she called out lowly and my head instantly jerked up to her. I didn't realize that I had got up from my chair. I found myself gawking at her, again when she tapped my shoulder and brought me to the real world. "U r looking beautiful", I winked. "Sir... if u have called me here for flirting, then it's better u let me go and find someone else coz m having some important work... which is more important than your flirting session... if u need anything else, then say it", she said. Damn it! She had got so much serious... since when we met again, I never saw her real smile... the one which would mesmerize me. "Sir may I go?", she asked. "Please drop that Mr.Mittal's project", I said to avoid embarrassment. "Sure...", she said as she bashed out of my cabin. I was left speechless even if I had a lot to speak up. "Sir... here is the project file u asked for...", she said as she again came in with a file. I felt numb and on the other hand I was scolding prak for caring for Aditi. We both did care for her but the only difference is... she expressed her care and I kept my care inside me. What she had done to herself!!! She was not the Aditi Verma I knew... she wasn't that Aditi Verma who showed up her pain when anyone would come near her but she had turned into someone who would never open up herself even if u r the most trustworthy person... And was it all because of me? Yes, of course.... it is because of me!
