"Brandon don't leave me." I plead
"Your..so ..perfect....." As i watch the life drain away from Brandon eyes.
I'm using all my focus on keeping Brandon alive and not to think about Edgar.
Edgar is gone, and out for revenge.
** 3 Weeks Later**
"Kayla!" Someone yells and i jump out of the hospital chair.
"What?" I groan, rubbing my eyes turning to see Riley with an angry expression.
"Your late! Again!" she stomps her foot on the ground making me laugh. God I'm tired.
"Maybe its a hint." I turn back to see Brandon sound asleep in his bed.
"You haven't moved from this chair in 3 weeks Kayla." She looks at Brandon then back to me.
"I'm surprise your still around me first Ava now Brandon." I take a swig of beer.
"Your Drunk." She states
"So?" I lift my bottle then put it to my lips again.
"Ava's fine, she walking talking she's even in charge of the telekinesis group now, and Brandon is almost done his recovery treatment he'll be back on his feet in a few days" She fires back
"3ed times the charm." I slur.
"Brandon wouldn't like you drinking." She looks down avoiding my death glare.
"And Brandon wouldn't like you running your mouth-" I say
"Hey." Brandon rasps out and i hold his hand.
"Did we wake you?" I ask and i can feel the tears trying to escape from my eyes.
"Sort of...Riley has a point, you should go with her to the invisibility group. I'll be fine I'm almost better." He tries to persuade me.
"Fiinnneee." I groan and take a final swig of my drink before dumping it in the trash.
"Great, but you need to take a shower, you wreak of beer." She scrunches her nose and i glare while Brandon laughs amused.

It feels good to have a shower i feel refreshed and not so hungover. Many factors contributed to my drinking just Brandon getting shot was the last straw.
I grab my black short sleeve shirt. camouflage shorts and black high-top sneakers before meeting Riley in the invisibility group. I just hope this goes better than the last group.
"Welcome to the invisibility group my name is Maria and ill be your instructor. Now to begin were going to have to do some yoga." She states and directs us to the mats on the floor.
"Yoga? Why?" I whine to Riley
"It helps us relax, its the key to complete invisibility, If your all tense you could just be a head or arm or something..trust me.. Not fun." She jokes
"Sorry about earlier, at the hospital." I look down at my blue mat.
"Don't worry about it, were all on high stress. You especially."
"Ok everyone lets star with something simple, touch our toes." She bends down and touches her toes without breaking a sweat. I try but i can only get to my ankle.
"Shoudln't the prophecy have super flexibility powers?" Riley asks laughing at my failed attempt
"I wish." I groan
"Now lets do a back-bridge." She bends her back completely and stays like that."
"Are you even gonna try?" Riley asks rolling her eyes
"I'd like to keep my spine thank you very much."
Maria gets up from her pose and faces the group ok now for the final part, meditating." She sits down with her legs folded and closes her eyes as does the rest of the class. If i close my eyes I'm afraid ill have nightmares that usually follow." But i do it and sure enough i feel relaxed.
"Now let the positive energy flow through you, and think about each body part one at time disappearing until your fully invisible.
"How do we know your invisible?" I ask Riley
"You'll feel it." She laughs
I'm scared to know the feeling.
"I relax and picture my legs, arms neck and my head disappearing like in a Si-fi movies where they digitally disappear and then i feel slight claustrophobic i feel like I'm blended into the air its almost suffocating me and i start to feel my throat close up when my eyes open and i see know-one. I look around up and down and my body had disappeared i just hope my head isn't visible. I could still hear Maria talking.
"Every-time you disappear you have that slight feeling of discomfort but it will go away after a few seconds." she states
"Soon everyone is re-appearing again so i focus on my body coming back from my head to my toes then i see my body back on the mat.
"Woah." I look over at Riley and she has a wide eyed look. I look to where she''s staring and my hands is coming back into sight in black flame.
"That's not normal is it?"
"No!" She shakes her head and raises her hand
"Yes?" Maria acknowledges her.
"Can me and Kayla be excused." Her eyes still in shock
"Of course dear." She waved goodbye and drags me out the door without a word,

"What happened back there?" I ask as she pushes the button on the elevator to Derek's office. I haven't spoken to him since the shooting, it been to painful.
When we reach his office she lets herself and me in and Derek looks startled.
"It happened." She puts her hand on her hips and Derek sighs
"Leave me and Kayla alone and tell everyone to prepare." He orders and she leaves me alone with Derek.
"Riley!" I shout "What is going on?" I demand
"Nice to see you to Kayla."
"What is happening?" I ask again
"The battle is happening. Soon."
"What?" I not ready
"It means Edgar has killed so many people he has enough power and no he's going to find you." He paces
"I'm not ready! I don't have enough power to kill him." I cry.
"You will have everyone in this building to back you up, we all can make him weak, so that when its time you can finish him off."
"Do I have a choice?" I state
"No, but once the battle is over and Edgar is dead, then it will be over."
"What will?"
"This, everyone will be able to go home and live there normal lives again."
"I'm scared." I confess
"I know." He cups my cheek. "I'll do everything i can to protect you." He breathes and without another word he kisses me. Its hard and passionate like its for the last time. Which it probably is.
He breaks the kiss leaving me breathless.
"You should get some rest. The battle preparations will be made tomorrow."
"O-Ok" I stutter and walk out of the room.

I walk into my room to find Brandon sitting on my bed.
"Brandon!" I yell wrapping my hands around his neck.
"Hey." He says calmly
"What are you doing here?" My voice filled with joy
"I got let out early so i came to find you and then i seen you with Derek." He states, and im speechless.
"I-It-I'm_" He cuts me off.
"You love him." He looks me in the eye
I can deny it, I do love him, there a piece of him that will always be in my heart no matter how hard i try to get it out.
"I love you more." I try to convince him
"I know." he wraps his hands on my waist.
"The battle-" He cuts me off
"I know."
"So what do we do?" I ask and he using one hand to cup my cheek.
"We enjoy our possible last moments." He runs his fingers along my jaw-line. He leans in and kisses me sweetly. It feels familiar in a way it shouldn't but i push those thoughts back and he lifts me up and carries me toward the bed.
