Song: The Struggle by Blacklite District
You and Soundwave just got back after your (cough mini-activity) and provided to the command center. Megatron was just sending Knockout for the first relic with an Insecticon which he sarcastically was happy to be with. Dreadwing selflessly volunteered to retrieve the relic from the arctic, though Megatron did doubt a bit, but let him go, hoping to not fail.
"What do you think the other relics are?" You asked Soundwave who just gestured 'no one really knows' as he just held your servo, which caused you to smile.
"Soundwave" Megatron said "I suggest that you should be the one to retrieve the third relic. I'm sure that you won't fail me."
Soundwave nodded, but he looked over to you, knowing that he doesn't want to leave you behind.
"Don't worry about your sparkmate, Soundwave. She's not going anywhere and she's going to be staying with me until you have returned with the relic." The Warlord said
You just rolled your optics, meaning that you don't want to be with the silver mech, but you didn't have a choice since you're not airborne and you can't come with Soundwave since he is airborne.
"Permission to speak with Y/n, alone Lord Megatron." Soundwave said through his recordings.
"Go on." Megatron said as Soundwave nodded and led you to the other side of the command center.
"Soundwave, what is it?" You asked, whispering.
"I know your friends are also after the relic," he said "Whatever happens, I'll try my best to not inflict to much pain, if it makes you feel better."
"Soundwave, I really want you to give the relic to the Autobots and I understand that you are loyal to Megatron no matter what." You said "Just.... just promise me, if the war is almost over, you'll join the Autobots. I don't want to loose you during it, especially hurting my friends."
"I promise, sweetspark." He said as he nuzzled his helm at the side of your faceplate. "I don't want to loose you either. You're the best thing that has happened for me in eons."
With that the both of you went back to Megatron. Soundwave let's go of your servo as he ground bridge himself near the coordinates of the relic, leaving you with Megatron.
You didn't like the presence of the warlord, mostly because you can sense the dark energon's energy.
"As I said my dear Y/n, you'll be staying with me until your sparkmate has returned." He said as he faces you.
"Don't you 'my dear' me, Megatron. I only agreed to this, just not to get scrapped by one of your Vehicons troops." You said with a bit of an anger tone in your voice.
"As you wish, Y/n. But you must accompany me to the Insecticon armada." He said as he gestured you to walk with him, going out of the command center.
"Hmph, let me guess, to get the last relic before one of friends does, pretty much I know they're doing the same." You said.
"Hmm, yes. Though if they did retrieve all the relics to me, you know what's next for your dear friends." Megatron said in a threatening tone.
"What if they don't?" You asked.
"I'm sure your sparkmate won't fail to disappoint."
You both have reached the Insecticon armada section. As you both entered, you felt shivers through your cables as you saw all the Insecticons in one place. Reminds you of a swarm of bees ready to attack. Megatron asked who is the strongest out of all of them, eventually one Insecticon named Hardshell, claimed himself to be the strongest out of the whole swarm. The warlord instructed him to retrieve the relic of the last coordinates.
"I'll be in Soundwave's quarters, if you don't mind." You said
"As long as you won't do anything that can detect the warship's signal." He said
"You mean like what happened last time, without anyone noticing." You replied, with a mocking tone in your voice as you walk towards your sparkmate's quarters.
You eventually made it to his quarters, but noticed a rectangular stasis pod near his door. As you walked closer, you saw the Decepticon logo on the top of it. You decided to take it inside and try to figure out what's in it.
After a few hours of just watching the stasis pod, you were called to go to the command center by one of the vehicon troops. As you made your way there, you saw Dreadwing with Megatron, with a disappointed look on his face.
"You didn't get the Apex Armor, while you were with the Prime?!" Megatron said.
"The Apex Armor is indestructible, once he had worn it. Not even Prime can defeat him." Dreadwing said.
"Who had the Apex Armor?" You asked
"Starscream." Dreadwing said "And he still has it."
"Anyways, there's this stasis pod in Soundwave's quarters, but I didn't dared to open it." You said
"Oh, and how will I know this is not a trick of yours?" Megatron asked
"Since when did I say something that isn't real?" You asked him, mostly mockingly.
"Very well." He replied.
Right then, Soundwave came in with a cracked visor. This concerned you as you ran towards him.
"What happened to you?" You asked quietly, as you rubbed his crack visor.
"Wheeljack, put up a bit of a fight, but I didn't hurt him as much." He replied with his recordings. "Though Laserbeak doesn't look alright."
"Did you retrieved the relic, Soundwave?" Megatron asked.
Soundwave lifted his servo, only to show the Resonance Blaster. Obviously he retrieved the relic, unlike Dreadwing. Megatron took it from his servo and examined it.
"Ah, the Resonance Blaster, crafted by Decepticons Scientists. You did well in retrieving the relic, Soundwave. Unlike Dreadwing here, who managed to loose the Apex Armor to Starscream." Megatron said.
"What does it do, anyway?" You asked
Megatron points the blaster to you and shoots. Soundwave pulled you close to him, letting you avoid the blast and ending up blasting one of the vehicon troop to the wall.
"Sound waves, quite fitting for you, Soundwave." You said with a sly look of your face.
"Now as long as Knockout succeeds,-" he was cut off when the door opened.
The one who came in was Knockout, who is covered with scratches and dirt all over him. In this, you silently laugh at his appearance, for you know he is very much upset.
"Can you believe what the Autobots have done to ME?!!!" Knockout said
"Did you retrieve the relic?" Megatron asked
"Sadly no."
"Then you can look your very best in examining Laserbeak."
In this you, Megatron, Soundwave and Knockout went to the medical bay. Knockout scanned Laserbeak, who is on Soundwave's chassis.
"Well, What is it?" Megatron asked
"An obstruction of some sort." Knockout said as Soundwave got out of the berth.
He released Laserbeak, only to be landed in your arms as Knockout opened it. What was inside was a grenade, ready to explode. Clever.
"GRENADE!!!" Knockout said as he dramatically dropped on the floor, covering his helm.
"What a drama queen." You chuckled as you commented on his action.
"Ah, very clever. Knockout, kindly make sure that this is disposed out of the ship immediately and come meet us in Soundwave's quarters."
Knockout did what he was told as you three went to the quarters. As you made it there, the stasis pod was still there.
"A stasis pod, build for mini-cons." Megatron said, "Soundwave, please open the pod so we may see what's inside of it."
Soundwave walked closer to the pod and opened it, only to reveal a metallic cat inside of it.
"I see, welcome home. Ravage." Megatron said as the mini-cons started to open its eyes.
As it got up, it recognized Soundwave as it let's him pet the top of its head. Ravage then noticed you and started to walk around you, like it was looking for something.
"Uh, what's it doing?" You asked
"It looks like Ravage seems to be having an interest in you, my dear." Megatron said
"I told you to not 'my dear' me, Megatron!" You shouted
Right the. Knockout came in, having another quote of explosion on him.
"You asked me to come here." He said.
"Yes, kindly examine Ravage for us. And return him to Y/n shortly." Megatron said. "Soundwave, if we must have the upper hand against the Autobots, decoding the Iacon database must be your top priority, and don't worry about your sparkmate, she will be with you along with Ravage."
In this, Soundwave nodded. Knockout was done examining Ravage as it went back to you, only to be attached to your back, which caused you t be surprised.
"What just happened to Ravage?" You asked
"Well, like how Laserbeak is attached to Soundwave on his chassis, Ravage is attached to you, only on your back." Knockout explained
"So even if I am in my vehicle form, Ravage is still fine?"
Knockout just nodded.
"This is something to get use too." You mumbled
Later on, Soundwave was starting to decode the Iacon database, with the help of his tentacles. You were both in the same room, which has a giant screen and keyboard. You didn't want to exhaust your sparkmate, so without any choice, you decided to help him decode as you activated your screenplate and brought out your own tentacles as you placed them on the keyboard. Soundwave questioned your actions as he looked at you. You told him that you didn't want him to exhaust him and decided to give him a assist. Like they used too. Soundwave smiled underneath his cracked visor as you both continued on your works.
"Unexpected, but I'm sure that they'll both be able to decode the Iacon database than you know, Knockout." Megatron said as he stands outside the door.
"Yes, we are fortunate to have them both here." Knockout said "And we're lucky that she's finally cooperating."
"And do care to fix Soundwave cracked visor would you." He said as he walked away.
Meanwhile with the Autobots. Rafael was able to download the Iacon database to the mainframe of the computers, which made Ratchet happy, but out of all four coordinates of where the relics where, they only got one, which is from New York. Not only that, Bulkhead got injured in returning back through the ground bridge. Everyone was concerned for him, especially Miko. This day wasn't just a somewhat successful, but it also cause worries for nearly loosing a member of the team.
