Jennie and Lisa talked about what happened and everything was already clear. Jennie wasn't able to clear that, since Kai is an Idol it will get so much attention and South Korea isn't always welcoming to issue like that specially Lisa is not from there. Jennie doesn't want Lisa to experience bullying if ever news will come out and involve Lisa's name. She was just trying to protect her. Lisa now understood why.
Jennie scheduled became busy again and so does Lisa. Because of the extension and merge of two powerful companies, Lisa wasn't able to go back to Thailand as planned which give advantage to the couple. Jennie career sky rocketed more than before. Despite of busy schedule the two decided to make weekends their days. So their Saturday and Sunday are always free for them to do whatever they want and go wherever they want.
It is Saturday morning. Jennie is still sleeping while Lisa is preparing breakfast for the two of them after her daily run. Sausage, bacons, eggs and bread that's gonna be their breakfast. Lisa is almost finish preparing when her phone rings.
„Hello" Lisa said
„Hi my gorgeous sister, how are you? We missed you here!" Leo said
„I missed you all too L, hows mom and dad?" Lisa asked her brother
„Our folks are fine, speaking of. It's Christmas next week Sis, mom and dad are planning to visit you there in Korea. I've made arrangements to the hospital and they allow me to have 2 weeks vacation, so I'm gonna be there too!" Leo excitedly said to his sister.
„Wow! That's Awesome L! I'm glad you were able to free yourself from the hospital? Don't be like mon! Hahaha" Lisa said
„Hahah yeah, and by the way how's Jennie unnie? I saw her in Vogue, she really is exquisite sis. Why are you so lucky???"Leo teased her sister
„She is indeed and I am the lucky one,sure" Lisa said
„When are you guys going to get married?" Leo ask
„Hmmm donyou think its not too soon for that? I mean sure I want to be married to her but we've been together for like 8 months now." Lisa said
„Months, years , weeks or even days doesn't matter if you love Jennie Unnie, which we know that you do. So if you want to be married to her do it soon before someone steals her from you" Leo teased Lisa but Lisa became aggressive
„That's not a good joke, L. I don't want to see her with someone else but me. She's mine and no one will ever dare to try. I can kill!" Lisa'stone changes from soft to angry
„Hahha chill sis, I'm just trying to mess with you. But think about it, don't wait for too long, make the time right don't do that cliche thing when the time is right. Every time that you're with her is the right and perfect time. We all can see that" Leo said that made Lisa realize that what her brother says is true.
They talk for a couple of minutes about their plan and hang up. Jennie woke up and walk straight to the kitchen and see Lisa preparing breakfast.
„Oh hi baby! I was about to get you and wake you up" Lisa said while walking towards Jennie. She grab Jennie's waist and kiss her in the lips. Jennie kiss her back.
„Good morning to you too, Baby. I love you!" Jennie said and peck Lisa's lips again
„I love you more baby, please sit and eat" Lisa said and pull the chair beside her and let Jennie sit.
„Hmmmm this is so yummy baby. Thank you!" Jennie said
„Haha Baby, that's just bacon and egg, nothing special." Lisa said and chuckles
„It is because you made it, baby. It is special." Jennie said
„Thank baby, eat more please. Your schedule is making you lose weight and I don't like it. How many magazines are still up before you finish stsrving yourself baby?" Lisa teased Jennie
„Baby, I am not starving myself. I'm eating very well, thank you very much." Jennie defended herself
„regularly Eating, me, yes!" Lisa teased Jennie and raise her brows repeatedly that earn a smack to her arms from Jennie.
The couple continue eating their breakfast and decided to stay home and watch movies on netflix the whole day. They cuddled on the sofa and talk about life and their future plans. Very domesticated.
Holidays came fast and the Manoban's arrived in Korea
Lisa fetch her family in the airport with Jennie. lisa saw her mom and dad and leo and she runs towards them like a child. Leo look at her sister shockingly, she is not this type of a person but maybe because she missed them so much Lisa became this kid who wasn't able to see her Family for years. Jennie chuckles watching her girlfriend act like a kid towards her parents. Lisa hugged her folks and Leo but Leo said its okay but Lisa insisted to give her baby brother a hug and a kiss. Leo jokingly act as if he is disgusted to what her sister is acting. Their parents watch the two of them bickering and smile.
Jennie bows down to her in laws and give them both a hug.
„Welcome to Korea, Mom and Dad. How was your flight?" Jennie ask and smile
The two Manoban hugged Jennie back and Doctor Manoban kiss Jennie's cheeks.
„Thank you, love. The flight was really good. Your dad slept the whole time! Haha" Dr. Manoban said teasing her husband
„Hey, that was a long flight." Mr. Manoban try to defend himself but he just smile at the end
„Annyeong Jennie unnie!" Leo greets Jennie and bow down. Lisa look at her brother. She is amaze that her brother calls Jennie unnie but calls her Lisa only.
„Hey! You respect Jennie more than you respect your own sister!" Lisa pretended to be offended
„Nobody cares about you, Lisa. Hahaha" Leo said
Mr. Manoban slap Leo's shoulder hard enough that made him lost his balance.
„Don't talk to your sister like that, Son" Mr. Manoban said
Lisa look at Leo and laugh victoriously. Lisa drive Jennie's car and the Kim sent cars for the Manoban and their company. They will go straight to the hotel where The Kims are going to meet them. They will have family lunch.
They arrived in the Hotel and since it's still early for lunch they went straight to their room first and rest. Jennie and Lisa informed them that they're going to get something from their place and go back for the lunch date.
Lunchtime...
Long table was arranged for the two powerful family. Everyone was present at the table. They are all having a good conversation when Jennie's mother ask Lisa a question.
„Lisa, honey we are not getting any younger." Jennie's mom who is sitting in front of Lisa said
„Mom!" Jennie try to stop her mum. She knows where this question is going.
„Thats okay, Baby." Lisa reassure her and chuckle and kiss her cheeks
„So what I'm saying, Lisa. We are not getting any younger, when are you two going to give us grand children!"" Jennie's mim said that made everyone at the table laugh and teased the couple
„Yes, Jennie-Lisa, when?" Jisoo teased the two earning a death glare from her cousin
„Well, Jennie and I, we might have talked about it before and we really are thinking of having our own family." Lisa said while grabbing Jennie's hand. „But, I haven't proposed yet to her and I really want to marry her first before we get pregnant. So yes, marriage first before babies." Lisa nervously said.
At the other side of the table Rosè stood up and walk to Lisa without Jennie knowing. But Jisoo admLeo caught that and look at each other. Rosè give Lisa a small black box. The figure out what's going on.
Lisa nervously stand up after that and started to speak again. Everyone look at Lisa confuse of what's happening.
„I really want to start my own family, from the very first time I saw Jennie on her music video on youtube singing Solo, I fell in love with her. I asked help from friends that has connection here in Korea so I could met her. We didn't start like what ordinary couple had. She rejected me, remember? Haha" Lisa chuckles remembering how they start.
„Yes!!! And you cried in front of us!!" Jackson shout and everyone laugh„
„Haha Yes I did Bro. I crossed continents just to make her feel safe and shooo away men that I feel like a threat. I don't share. Haha specially with the messy hair men. It's a nono! Hahaha" Lisa said and everyone giggle. Lisa became more serious Jennie is still clueless. She thought that this is just because of her mother questions. but when she saw Lisa change and kneels. Her eyes wide open in shock and place her hand in her mouth. Her eyes and tearing up and so does Lisa.
„baby, Jennie Ruby Jane Kim, in front of your family and mine and of course our friends, will you be with me every step of my life? Will you give up being Koreas Kpop Princess and be my Queen? Will you be my wife? Baby, will you marry me?" Lisa kneel down and present Jennie a ring that shines bright like a sun.
Jennie is sobbing of happiness and shock. She did not expect that the first lunch date of the both family will be the day Lisa will propose.
Jennie stand up and hug Lisa and Kiss her in front of their families and friends. Both of their mothers are on tears snd their father are trying not to shed a tear.
„Is that a yes baby?" Lisa ask
„A million yes, Lalisa Manoban!" Jennie said and kissed Lisa back again.
Everyone was surprised when rose petals and red balloons started to fell from the ceiling too. But what catches everyone attention was the fighter plane outside.
Everyone clapped their hands. And the people are all in tears. Happy tears.
