~Zach's POV~
Here goes nothing.
I took a deep breath and fixed my hair.
"Guys and Y/n, I'm ready."
They all nodded and ran to a corner to hide. There's no turning back now, even if it goes bad.
"ALLY!" I called. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and then revealed Ally.
"Yeah Zach?" She asked in her heavenly voice.
I suddenly started hyperventilating a little. I tried taking deep breaths but I still felt nervous. Then, I remembered what Y/n told me.
"Just speak from your mind."
All I have to do is to speak from my mind, right? Well, here goes nothing.
"So um Ally..."
"Yeah Zach..?"
"You know how I said I care for you a lot and you know how I said that you have pretty eyes - well, I mean you're pretty in general, and you know how I said-"
"Zach? What are you trying to say?" She asked with a hint of suspicion and she also had a tiny blush dusted on her cheeks. I also noticed that Y/n and the guys were trying their best not to groan.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked, mumbling a little in the end.
"I'm sorry, what?"
Oh dear lord.
"Will you be my girlfriend?!" I said louder.
"Oh of course, Zach!" She said and hugged me with a big smile on my face. I was a bit shocked that she said yes but I started beaming and hugged her back.
"YES!" The others said and fell on each other in their hiding place. I could tell Ally was a little embarrassed when she noticed that they were listening the whole time.
"Aww you guys already look cuter than (someone else) and I!" Y/n said and held (someone else's) hand. He smiled and bent down to kiss her forehead.
"Oh HA. No." Ally replied and Y/n and Ally started having an argument.
Jonah nudged my shoulder and said, "Good job."
