"So Bonney explain to everyone why Nami's traumatized now..."
We had all settled inside now. Luffy was running around with his dog chopper while the rest of us sat down. Zoro leaning against Robin and Sanji trying to bring Nami back to reality.
Bonney sat down beside Sanji while I sat in an armchair nearby.
"Well..." She said giggling,
"I met this cutie on the plane and we started flirting and I tried to get my hands under his mask—"
"Mask?" Nami asked snapping back to reality.
"Yea his face was completely covered with a mask. He didn't let me take it off though and ended up pinning me to a wall and the—"
"I think I'm going to go play with Luffy." I said as my stomach began to turn.
Nami was now more interested in the conversation completely forgetting the shock for earlier as she sent smug looks in Bonneys direction.
Pushing up off the armchair I made my way into the Kitchen. Tuning out their conversation as I watched Luffy run around the kitchen on Choppers back. Chopper wasn't a normal dog, to be honest Chopper wasn't even a dog. Chopper was a Wolf. One day while Luffy was lost in the forest he had met Chopper and somehow magically became friends. Now Chopper lives here with Luffy. Since Luffy refused to let him go and Chopper didn't want to leave they had given in and let them stay together.
"Shishishi! Run Chopper!" Luffy yelled out while they dashed around the kitchen.
When Choppers eyes caught sight of me they lit up. A goofy smile appearing on his face as he ran towards me. Luffy still laughing not even noticing where he was headed. The big fluff ball tackled me to the ground as I let out a surprised gasp. I was pushed onto my back as Chopper stood above me. Both his paws on either side of me and Luffy finally opened his eyes.
"Y/N! Chopper missed you!" Luffy said smiling.
I reached my hand up to give Chopper a small pat, my hand ruffled his fur as he rubbed against it.
"Hi Chopper hows my little baby?" I cooed petting him more.
He rubbed against my hand more before dipping down to my neck. His teeth latched onto my shirt collar and I let out a small squeak. I was thrown into the air by Chopper and landed on his fluffy back beside Luffy. I looked down at my shirt in disappointment as there was now a large gaping hole in it.
I let out a small sigh before gasping and falling into Luffy's back. I held on tightly as Chopper began to pick up speed. Rushing out of the kitchen he ran through the living room surprising everyone inside. Chopper ran out the front door causing my grip to tighten.
I slowly lifted my head up to see we were now running towards the forest. Luffy let out another laugh before a large smile grew on his face.
"Go Chopper!!" Luffy screamed receiving a bark as a reply.
The Wolf ran through the woods dodging trees and other weird plants that stuck out of the ground. The small animals in the forest scurried away leaving our path clear. Chopper began to slow down to a jog and stopped in a clearing in the forest. The area was quiet and I let out a small sigh of relief. Feeling safe I finally let go of Luffy and jumped off of Chopper. Luffy followed after and we watched as Chopper chased a few birds nearby. I dropped down to the ground and laid on the grass. Luffy laid down beside me as we stared up at the clouds.
The cool breeze hit my face as the clouds moved along the sky. Different shapes and animals floated in the sky as Luffy laughed pointing them out.
"Luffy." I mumbled keeping my attention to the clouds.
"Yea Y/N?"
"Why did you guys move down here?"
Luffy was quiet for a few minutes. My attention shifted to him as a serious expression sat on his face.
"We're after someone." He replied.
"Who?"
It took Luffy a moment before a small sigh left his lips.
"He's a wanted criminal with a 100 million dollar bounty on his head. He's known for narcotic dealings. I can't say too much about it right now... we still don't know his identity but we should know by tonight. Franky went to go investigate it so hopefully, he brings something back."
I hummed in response and Luffy go up off the ground.
"Come on let's go back Sanji's got more food!"
His serious expression changed into that of a happy one and I got up off the ground. A small smile brought to my face as Chopper rushed back over.
I stared up at the sky one last time before hopping on Choppers back.
Things were about to get a lot more interesting.
