/ First Person Protagonist POV /
I held my breath as I contemplated the star destroyer we were approaching. Of course, The Finalizer wasn't pretty, hell, it was quite scary to look at, but I knew beyond those cold titanium and durasteel walls, was the man I loved and called home: Kylo Ren. I nervously paced around the small cockpit, with the oversized clothes bagging a little bit over me. I tried not to act too nervous, even if I had told Mando what had happened, I never did and never will tell him about me and Kylo. What we have towards each other is too precious to say, and also too dangerous.
" Sir, the star destroyer sends an incoming hologram." Mando's piloting guard warned.
Mando turned his chair towards me and made sure I was as calm as possible. I sat down and dug my nails deep into the palms of my hands, trying to sit as calmly as I could. " D8- X2, open the holographic transmission." Mando ordered his piloting droid as it pushed on a button and a hologram popped up. I was hoping to maybe catch a glimpse at Kylo's mask, at least, but the only thing that appeared was the Final Order emblem followed by a static sound.
" Incoming navette, The Finalizer star destroyer at call. Identify yourself." Came a voice I didn't recognize through the transmission. Most certainly one of those people who work in the command room, I thought to myself as I stared back out towards The Finalizer as we approached one of the closed hangars. " The Pursuit Promise at call, sir." Mando replied into a little microphone chip. " What is your request for passage?" The voice on the opposite side of the transmission asked. " I bring in a bounty set out by the Final Order a couple days ago. Y/n, with a non identified last name. The Pursuit Promise requests passage to one of The Finalizer's hangars for landing, handing in the bounty and recollecting the ransom." Mando replied, in a tone so robotic he sounded like a droid.
There was static silence for a couple seconds, and a large gate on The Finalizer started opening. Mando and D8- X2 piloted the ship towards the hangar entrance. " Access granted into hangar seven, Pursuit Promise, please procede with caution." The voice on the other end of the transmission said before it ended.
As the Pursuit Promise landed in the large hangar of The Finalizer, I rushed out of the pilot cockpit and into the bright white room, slipping in some shoes before descending and fixing my hair in the reflection of the wall. " Y/n, it's time. Let's get going." Mando said as he stood at the door of the room. " Yes. Of course." I replied, with my head held low, not wanting to show my excitement.
Before I walked out the room, I stood in front of Mando, trying to see what color his eyes were, but his helmet didn't let me. " Mando, please don't forget to turn in the lightsaber. It's the only thing I have from my past." I muttered almost illegibly. He took out the handle from one of his pockets and nodded. " Do not worry about that." Mando replied.
" Take good care of yourself, eh, y/n?" Mando said, extending his hand for me to shake it. Instead, I walked past it and hugged him friendly. " You know, if the situation wasn't as if it was now, I'd definitely be your partner in crime." I joked as I leaned my head on his armor. Mando chuckled and patted my head with his gloved hand. " I wouldn't doubt that for a minute." He replied as I released the hug. " You know, you never told me your real name." I mentioned as I stared at his silver helmet. " After all, you know mine, so I think it would be fare th-" " It's time to go, y/n. Wouldn't like to keep Kylo Ren waiting." Mando said, interrupting me.
" Hey! Not fair!" I complained as we both walked down the corridors and towards the doors of his ship. " That's information for another time, y/n. I have a feeling this won't be our last encounter." Mando said as the doors of his ship began opening. " Now, put on your best poker face and walk out of here defeated." He whispered as I rolled my eyes, but did as he said.
I slumped forward and bended my back slightly to the front, keeping my head held low as Mando put manacles at my wrists and placed both my hands behind my back. The doors opened completely and Mando pushed me down the ramp. I lifted my eyes slightly to contemplate the familiar looking hangar filled with pilots and stormtroopers. This time, there was two files of the white soldiers on both sides of the opening of the ship.
I saw out of the corner of my eye someone approaching in a small patrol of stormtroopers: Captain Phasma. She looked as imposing as always, and towered in front of my defeated position. " Well done, Mandalorian." She told Mando as I knew she had taken a glance at me. Oh boy, must she hate me so much right now. I gulped as the stormtrooper patrol and Phasma guided me and Mando down the corridors of The Finalizer.
I wanted to look at everything and everywhere on The Finalizer, but I knew it would look suspicious. I closed my eyes and tried to communicate with Kylo through the mind communicating trick I had discovered I could use a couple days ago, when I was last here.
'Kylo... Can you hear me? In your head, I guess?' I thought, not really knowing how to activate the mind reading connection.
No reply.
I decided to give up and sort of try to surprise him as I would walk into the command room soon, even though I knew he had already felt my presence on The Finalizer. I wonder how he feels now, I pondered. As nervous and impatient yet so overjoyed to finally be here as I am? I breathed in heavily as I knew the small patrol and I had taken a turn towards the corridor were the doors to the command room were.
I opened my eyes, as I could feel Kylo's presence and I could smell his aroma of fire and water colliding fill my lungs once more. He was standing in front of me, only a couple yards away. Even when he had his mask, I could picture his beautiful features staring at me straight in the eye. I could feel one small tear roll down my cheek as I stared at the man I loved with all my heart.
' Hello, love.' I heard the thought pop in my mind, and it wasn't mine. It was his.

I feel like I've separated them so much, so I'll stop. ( FOR NOW) MUHEHEHEHEHEHHE.
Important hint: What Mando says at some point, I won't tell where, is a clue to a possible happening later on in the story! Who am I kidding? It's a clue to something that will most definitely happen without a doubt, but I'll just say that say no more. Just for the fun of making you all ponder.
I did feel a little sad to leave Mando, though :( Such a good friend.
70 CHAPTERS ALREADY?! HOW DID THIS EVEN HAPPEN?! I AM HIGHLY CONCERNED FOR HOW MUCH TIME I SPEND WRITING. BUT I LOVE TO!!!!
I hope you liked the chapter! I am so excited to have you and Kylo reunited once again!!! Makes me so happy and makes my little heart flutter to have Kylo appear once more!!!!
