“Mom what are you implying?” Keanner said having a doubt.
“I can change your mind…ha! ha! ha!” Alicia giggled. Keanner lost his patience.
“I’m losing my senses on you!” Keanner shouted.
“Son, if you really do like Angelo I can do something for you…” Keanner stopped from walking away. He seemed interested but didn’t show any manifestation.
“…If a minute you can change a person’s mind…how much more if you had 259,200 minutes at hand?” she smiled.
Keanner shrugged, “Whatever…just don’t make me looked like…I’m BEGGING.” he snorted. Though he was curious too.
Alicia made a plan.

At Magenta Medical Hospital, Angelo received a phone call from his mother.
[“Dear, would you drop by at Red Flamenco’s Diner, after work?”] Sheila said.
“Is something wrong, mom?” Angelo asked a bit concern.
[“No…we just want to talk to you…I’ll be waiting…thank you and I love you!” she replied.
“We?!” before Angelo could clear the “we” she hung up.
“What ‘we’ is she talking about…is she going to introduce a boyfriend to me? Am I going to have a stepfather?” he was lost at his thought when someone hugged him from behind.
It was Jason. “Oh, Son…wassap!” Angelo smiled at his fiancé. Jason kissed him.
“Busy?” Jason asked.
“No!” Angelo replied.
“Shall we?” Jason smiled and Angelo nod. Angelo will accompany Jason at the airport. He was going to have a five-month seminar and simulation program as a representative of their Hospital together with several doctors in their country in the annual Black and White Global Medical Convention to be held in Australia.
“Want something after the trip?” Jason asked.
“None. Just don’t forget our wedding!” Angelo chuckled but having doubt. Marrying another guy was quite weird. He just can’t remove the fact that Jason might change his mind.
“course not…” Jason assured him. Angelo made a relief.
-------------
At Red Flamenco’s Diner, a Spanish style restaurant, someone shouted.
“WHAT?!” Angelo shouted. He wanted to struggled and complained to the highest level but he can’t. if only the person who’s bothering, pleading, and choking him to death was someone else but not.
“Ack…choke…aaack…a-aunt…c-can’t…be-breath…” Angelo was having a problem in speaking because Alicia was hugging ang begging on him to the intent. She’ll never gonna let him go unless the boy agreed to her.
“Pleeeeeease, none had the guts to have patience on him other than you…” Alicia pleaded.
“Son, please…Keanner took care of you before…so, this time he needed someone to take care on him…when we are away.” Sheila eyed his son in pleading.
Angelo sighed, “Mom, aunt, I’m getting married…I need to get things up and you had a business trip…then you want me to take care of that Bas…” he didn’t want to offend Alicia so stopped to what he was saying.
“Don’t worry, son, it was only a five month business conference…I can make it before your wedding.” Sheila assured her.
“Alright, I’ll pick him up tom.” Angelo tripled sighed he can’t refuse them. He just hoped that Keanner change some attitude.
-------------
After the stressful talked at his mom and auntie, Angelo went home. Later that night at his unit, Angelo got shocked.
“How’d you…” Angelo having mixed emotions flared up.
“Drove here by Lelerio, Aunt Sheila gave the key…you got a nice place but it’s too crampy…any question?” he said conceitedly.
“Arrrgh…He didn’t change a bit…” Angelo thought he was about to nag when a furry one jump on him. It was Ke-an. He wagged and licked him at his face happily and excitedly.
“Ha! ha! ha!...stop it, boy!” Angelo giggled and dropped on the floor. Keanner somehow smiled.
--------------
At the dining table, a simple round with four seats.
“Oi, what you up to?...I thought you hate me?...Why asking me to take care of you?” Angelo said.
“Hmmm…not me but mom…got to be clear on that…okay…and for the old times sake…” Keanner paused and looked at the angry man, he smirked and continued, “I want to have some fun!” then laughing out loud.
“Messing in my life is FUN for you…idiot…” Angelo murmured in disgust.
“Definitely!” Keanner prided it. Even though he actually wanted to be with him, he just can’t say it. Especially now that Angelo was engage and soon having a vow. He didn’t want the idea of rejection from him.
“Look…let me get this straight…One, I’m allowing you to stay because I can’t refuse your mom. Two, don’t you ever talk about our past because it should never be disclose…pretend that it never happened!” Angelo hated the idea of remembering the past with Keanner.
Hearing that Keanner felt a dagger being struck at his chest.
“You got a small place, here…don’t expect me to sleep on the floor…as you know I had an injury…” Keanner commented changing the topic. Angelo snorted.
“Go away if you don’t like in here!” Angelo said. He wanted a simple and peaceful life and so resided in a semi-secluded seven-storey condominium away from the busy streets of the city, which happened to be his mother’s owned building. Usual individual who rented or bought a unit from there was middle-aged people who wanted a serene atmosphere.
Keanner grimaced, “Okay, I’ll tell Aunt Sheila that you sending me away.”
Angelo snarled. He hated when Keanner was blackmailing him. Though he hated himself the most for letting him succeeding on it.
“You can sleep at the bedroom, I’ll just lie on the sofa…” Angelo said avoiding an argument. Keanner raised a brow.
Keanner felt a bit awkward but he tried to be his natural self. The Mr. all knowing-righteous-gorgeous-picture perfect-majestic-powerful-boastful-bastard-of-all-time, as Angelo referred on him even he was injured and using a cane for support in walking.
------------------
Angelo hated being with Keanner. Why…because his feeling for the later was coming back. He didn’t want it. He couldn’t take the risk of losing Jason in exchange with a bastard who will only hurt him. That was what he thought all this time or even for the rest of his life if the self-conceited Keanner wouldn’t change his behavior.
At the kitchen, Angelo was washing the dishes while Keanner was watching him and cuddling Ke-an.
Keanner started to talk, “Hey, you serious in getting married to a MAN? I mean…WHO THE HELL IN HIS RIGHT SENSES…WILL THINK OF MARRYING ANOTHER GUY!”
Angelo got offended and looked at Keanner dangerously.
“MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!” Angelo growled. Ke-an, jump off away from Keanner and look for something to hide in. The dog was scared.
“Okay, sorry…what I mean is…getting married is too laborious and when you started to dislike each other, you gonna file a case. Also, court hearings is too troublesome just to get a divorce…unlike no strings attach, when you started to get weary at each other…you can get away on it…EASILY…just like ME!” Keanner said. Angelo just listened and sighed. Just what he thought that Keanner wasn’t a person who will stick on one lover.
Keanner was not that mean. Though previously, he was like that. It’s because he hadn’t found the person he would loved for but now, he did find it. The problem was how to say it without misinterpreting the real meaning. Keanner needed to attend a refreshers course on correct usage of words and attitude enhancement program.
“Look, I’m not like you…I need assurance…and to settle things for good…” Angelo paused.
“I will marry you…” Keanner thought. If only he could say that out loud.
“…and Jason isn’t like you!” Angelo said while drying the last plate.
“DON’T YOU EVER COMPARE ME TO HIM!” Keanner rampaged after hearing that.
“Look, you did it on the first place.” Angelo replied calmly.
Keanner stopped and breathed heavily.
“Tell me…am I that easy to forget?” Keanner murmured melancholy.
Angelo heard that but ignored it.
Simply because he can’t forget and hated it.
---------------
After a month, Keanner’s leg was okay and the bondages were gotten off but he needed time for complete healing. He can walked steadily but it felt crump when overuse.
One time, Angelo went home worn out due to his hectic schedule on the operation table.
He just slumped on the sofa without changing his apparel or even care to have a small taste of food.
He wanted a pure rest. Keanner happen to noticed him.
“He sure is gorgeous when he is like this…” Keanner thought. He caught and held Angelo at his room.
Keanner striped him and grinned.
“Today is sure…my day!” He thought. He started to kissed and live hickies on Angelo’s body.
Angelo thought he was dreaming but when the sensation could not be resisted. He opened his eyes. Keanner was raping him.
“Argh…pain…curse you fatigue…can’t even move…ahhh!” Angelo thought.
Morning came, Angelo found himself sleeping with Keanner who’s on top of him. Much worst they were both naked. He wasn’t dreaming last night.
“WHA-” He thought, “…it can’t be…” He immediately dashed off.
“Why is he doing this to me?” Angelo squealed in the shower room.
“For FUN!” Keanner said. He actually meant ‘FOR LOVE’ but it turned out like that. Keanner grinned who’s standing naked at the door. Angelo forgot to lock it.
Keanner approached him, “Shall we continue…to what we had left yesterday…”
“Grrr…get out!” Angelo shouted trying to throw soap but he was out balanced in the process in front of Keanner.
They both lying on the floor, Angelo on top of Keanner. Their shaft met and both started to get hard.
“Gaack…” Angelo was embarrassed. Keanner move swiftly and take the opportunity to do him.
After the steamy shower,
“Better not to do that again or I’ll KILL you! If you want some release…call a prostitute! If you want to insult me because of what I am SAY IT…than doing this!” Angelo was angry because he felt that he cheated on Jason. He also, hated having s*x for fun and most of all being downgraded.
Keanner did not rebut. It wasn’t what he meant.
----------
Meanwhile, Marina Goldwin found out the place where Keanner had been all those time and tried to surprise her boyfriend.
Dingdong…dingdong…
Keanner opened the door then a woman buried her body to the stunned guy and fall to the sofa.
“Did I surprise you…sweetie…” Marina shrieked while squeezing him.
“What are you doing here…who told you my whereabouts?” Keanner asked a bit pissed.
“You don’t like it?” she was sniffing, “Lelerio told me…” she added feeling hurt.
“Uhm…it’s no that…” Keanner stopped when Angelo came out of the comfort room.
Angelo just stared for a moment and went off to his work.
That, somehow grinds Angelo’s emotion.
