Michael POV
After that encounter with Mettaton, we decided to go to Papyrus, who was with Undyne in Waterfall.
"OH, HELLO!" Papyrus said waving. "NOW THAT YOU TWO ARE HERE, ARE YOU READY TO HANG OUT WITH UNDYNE?"
You two nodded. "OH, AND DON'T FORGET TO GIVE TO GIVE HER THIS." Papyrus said pulling out yellow bone in a red ribbon. "SHE LOVES THESE."
Papyrus then knocked on the door. A bunch of sounds and noises could be heard before the door finally opened, which was a mouth? Her entire house is a fish.
"Hi Papyrus. Now, are you ready for our extra-private one-on-one training?" Undyne asked.
"YOU BET I AM. AND I BROUGHT SOME FRIENDS." Papyrus said stepping to the side.
"Hi, I don't think we've..." Undyne stopped talking when she saw you both. She looked at Papyrus, then back at you two with a fake smile. "Why don't. You three. Come in?"
You three went inside as the door shut closed.
"HERE UNDYNE. MY FRIENDS BROUGHT A GIFT FOR YOU, ON THIER OWN." Papyrus said bringing out the same bone he showed you earlier.
"Uhhh... thanks." Undyne said grabbing the bone. "I'll, uh, put it with the others."
Undyne then went over to a drawer opening it, which had dozens of identical bones, putting it in then closed it.
"So, are we ready to start?" Undyne asked.
"WHOOPSY DOOPSY, I JUST REMEMBERED. I HAVE TO GO TO THE BATHROOM. YOU THREE HAVE FUN." Papyrus said then jumped through the window shattering it.
"..." Undyne said nothing. "So, why are you two here? To rub your victory in my face? To humiliate me even further? IS THAT IT?"
You both quickly said no.
"Then why are you here? ..! Wait, I get it. You think that I'm gonna be friends with you, huh? RIGHT???"
You both said yes.
"Really? How delightful! I accept! Let's all frolick in the fields of friendship!" Undyne said with a smile you both knew was fake. "...NOT! Why would I EVER be friends with you two!? If you two weren't my houseguest's, I'd beat you both up right now! You're the enemy of everyone's Hope's and Dreams! I WILL NEVER BE YOUR FRIENDS. Now, get out of my house!" Undyne yelled as Papyrus stood in front of the window outside.
"DANG! WHAT A SHAME. I THOUGHT UNDYNE COULD BE FRIENDS WITH YOU TWO. BUT I GUESS... I OVERESTIMATED HER. SHE'S JUST NOT UP TO THE CHALLENGE." Papyrus then quickly ran off.
"Challenge!? What!? Papyrus! Wait a second..! Darnit!" Undyne said. "He thinks I can't be friends with you two? Fuhuhu! What a joke! I could make friends with wimpy losers like you two anyday! I'll show him! Listen up you two. We're not just going to be friends. We're going to be... BESTIES. I'll make you two like me so much... you won't be able to think of anyone else! Fuhuhuhu! It's the perfect Revenge! ...Why don't you two have a seat. I'll get another chair." Undyne then went to her room and came out with a chair.
"Comfortable? I'll get you both something to drink." She went to the fridge and brought out some stuff and set them on the counter. (Soda, Tea, Hot Chocolate, Sugar.)
When you went to get something (strangely Frisk was still sitting down) Undyne suddenly chucked a spear at the table breaking it and making you both jump.
"HEY! DON'T GET UP! YOU'RE THE GUEST! SIT DOWN AND ENJOY YOURSELF!" Undyne then put a hand to her head. "...Um, why not just point to what you want? You can use the spear!"
You grabbed and lifted it. It was surprisingly light. You asked Frisk what to point at and she pointed at the tea making you point at the tea.
"...Tea, huh? Coming right up." Undyne said then went to the counter to make the tea.
Once she was done she brought the two teacups to you both and somehow put them on the broken table, then sat down on the other side.
"Careful it's hot." Undyne said. "It's not THAT hot! Just drink it already!"
You both take a sip of the tea. It's burning hot. But other than that, it's pretty good.
"It's pretty good, right?" Undyne asked. "Nothing but the best for my ABSOLUTELY PRECIOUS FRIENDS!"
You three sit there in silence until Undyne starts talking again.
"Hey... you know... it's kind of strange you chose THAT tea. Golden Flower Tea... that's Asgore's favorite kind. Actually, now that I think about it... you kind of remind me of him. You're both TOTAL weenies! ...sort of." Undyne said.
"Y'know, I was a pretty hotheaded kid. Once, to prove I was the strongest, I tried to fight Asgore. Emphasis on TRIED. I couldn't land a single blow on him!" Undyne said as you two listened. "And worse, the whole time, he refused to fight back! I was so humiliated... afterwards, he apologized and said something goofy... "Excuse me, do you want to know how to beat me?" I said yes, and from then on, he trained me."
"One day, during practice, I finally knocked him down. I felt... bad. But he was beaming... I had never seen someone more proud to get their butt kicked. Anyway, long story short, he kept training me... and now I'm Head of the Royal Guard! So I'm the one who gets to train dorks to fight! ...Like, uh, Papyrus."
While you two were listening to Undyne, two figures were at the window, watching.
"So, that's Michael, right?" He said.
"Yes, I met him in the Void. He sometimes appears there when he falls asleep." She said standing next to the tall figure.
"Well then. This timeline will be an interesting one. We'll be back to check up on Michael later. Let's return to the Void."
The two figures returned to the Void unnoticed.
"But, um, to be honest... I don't know if... I can ever let Papyrus into the Royal Guard." Undyne said. "Don't tell him I said that! He's just... well... I mean, it's not that he's weak. He's actually pretty freaking tough!"
"It's just that... he's... he's too innocent and nice! I mean look, he was SUPPOSED to capture you... and he ended up being friends with you instead! I could NEVER send him into battle!"
While you were listening you could feel like you're being watched. You glance over at the window to see something glowing... blue. But you ignored it.
"He'd get ripped into little smiling shreds. That's part of why... I started teaching him how to cook, you know? So, um, maybe he can do something else with his life."
Silence once again fills the room.
"Oh, sorry, I was talking for so long... you're both out of tea, aren't you? I'll get you both some more." Undyne said then got up to get you both some more when she stopped.
"Wait a second. Papyrus... his cooking lesson... HE WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE THAT RIGHT NOW! And if HE'S not here to have it... YOU TWO WILL HAVE TO HAVE IT FOR HIM!" Undyne said as she jumped on top the counter knocking everything onto the floor, breaking them.
"That's right! NOTHING has brought Papyrus and I closer than cooking! Which means that if I give you both his lesson... WE'LL BECOME CLOSER THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!" Undyne roared as a grin spread across her face. "Fuhuhu! Afraid!? We're gonna be best friends!"
"Welp, let's see if this Human can handle Undyne's INSANE cooking lesson." The tall man said then disappeared leaving a strange symbol in his place.
