Faith Mia Rose Styles
After hours of pain, sweating, crying, excitement and happiness our baby daughter was finally born.
I remember holding her for the first time.
Harry was holding my hand during the entire process and I probably squeezed it a bit too hard at some times.
But he said it was worth it. I gave birth to our beautiful and healthy baby girl.
Faith had dark brown hair and beautiful green eyes. She was a cute baby and - just like her brother - she enjoyed eating and sleeping a lot.
She has stolen our hearts from the first second on we saw her.
Flynn was so proud to be a brother now and told everyone that he has got a baby sister.
You're probably wondering why she's called Faith Mia Rose.
Well, I have always loved the name Mia and Harry wanted to name our daughter Rose.
At the same time we also wanted the name starting with the letter F just like Flynn.
Since we couldn't decide between those options we have named her Faith Mia Rose.
I thought Faith had something special and magical.
I was so proud of her.
Two weeks after the birth I was laying on the couch with Faith sleeping on my chest.
Harry and Flynn were puzzling on the floor.
"Do you need anything, baby?" My beautiful husband looked up and smiled at me.
He gently kissed me on the cheek and also placed a kiss on Faith's head.
I shook my head in response and watched Flynn finishing his puzzle.
"Dad! Look!" He took Harry's hand and showed him his puzzle.
"Well done, buddy!" Harry smiled at him and gave him a high five. He ruffled through Flynn's blonde hair.
Then he walked over and caressed Faith's cheek. "Little princess."
My son sat down by my feet and looked at his sister.
"Do you like Faith more than me?" He whispered and looked at me.
"What? Of course not, sweetie." I sat up and Harry took Faith into his arms.
I pulled Flynn onto my lap and hugged him.
Harry sat down next to me and looked at our son.
"You know that you're Faith's big brother and you'll always be our firstborn child. We'll love you forever because you made me a mama for the first time. When your dad and I found out that I was pregnant, we were so happy and excited to finally meet you. We loved you from the first second on and we will always be there for you. When we found out about Faith, we also were so excited and happy. You're a big boy and she's a very tiny baby. She needs more sleep, I have to feed her and we have to be there for her when she cries. When you were born we did the same for you. Your dad and I love you and your sister the same. You both are two individual people but we love you so just as much, Flynn."
My son hugged me tightly and looked at Faith.
"Can I hold her?"
Harry nodded and put our baby into our son's arms.
Flynn looked down at his baby sister and started smiling.
"Hello Faith. I love you."
