And there you have it, people. My first 抖阴社区 story. Thank you all for the comments, suggestions and replies. I've had fun.

Now, I would go through my creative process. That's how I'll choose to end all books.

'Whore' was originally intended to be a heterosexual romance book, told from the point of view of a prostitute who eventually finds stability. My motivation was the British TV Drama "Secret Diary of a Call Girl", which I found to be probably more artistic than many of my mates did. But then, after describing the first sex scene, I thought to myself: This is not going to work. I mean, the sex scenes were one thing, but I had no idea how to write from a female perspective, seeing as I have no real experience with how women spend their time. Then it hit me: just make the entire story gay. That way, I could write about male life experiences (which I understand) and keep the male sexual attraction (what I had intended for the female protagonist). So I buffed up my understanding of gay romance (thanks to writers like @vee_ano and @Amyscence), gay lingo (thanks to the Internet), threw in some of the standard Mills and Boon descriptions of emotional torrents, and voila, 'Whore' was born. I have never written this genre before so I could only hope I pulled it off convincingly. I guess I did.

As to the use of the F-word at the end of chapters, it was actually inspired by the book I was reading at the time -'The F Word' which talked about the history of (obviously) the F word. I decided to honour the book by finding a way to end every chapter with the word, using it in as many contexts as possible: from happiness to helplessness to frustration to fear and everything I could imagine in-between. Chapter 39 was just the F word, but it had to be there because it was pivotal to the ending and I couldn't use it in the last one. I also consider this chapter to be the most important because the word finally represented something more than just an expletive: a turning point in the story. So for all who kept asking why I did that, now you know.

Also, did you ever imagine that the final chapter was the first one I wrote? I believe the ending of a story is more important than its beginning. It was very exciting, trying to weave a story that fit the ending I had created. So this was as much fun for me to write as I hope it was for you to read.

Happy One Month on 抖阴社区 to me.

I'm going to take a writing vacation and come up with something juicy for my next book. It may not be romance, but it should be interesting. I'm thinking Sci-Fi or Fantasy. With bits or romance thrown in. I'm probably still a little high on writing the romance thing.

Love you all.

Especially my lovelies. You know yourselves.
