I woke up in a days The first thing I heard was
" well according to Kayla we have to look for ravens point" it sounded like Ian then papers started to shift and then they found where they needed to go
"Hmm..." I Hummed as I was waking up
"oh good you're finally awake" barley said
" barley she's been asleep for like five minutes" Ian argued
" sorry you had to carry me out I'm not used to using my power so much" I said
" don't worry you're not as heavy as I thought you would be" he laughed
" by the way whatever happened to you?" He said
" what do you mean Barley?" I said
" I mean what happened to you like we were hanging out and stuff one day and then that day you just left no goodbye or anything" he said his tone turning sad
"Well I didn't get to say goodbye because as soon as we could afford a house we left I wanted to say bye but dad said no and I don't know why it's very odd but when I was able to I gather enough money and I moved back home and that's why I'm your neighbor now" I said
" wait you two new each other?" Ian said
" you bet! And I knew your dad to but all the time I spent near him I only have three memories of him"I said
" what are they?" Ian asked
" Number 1 he had a pretty goofy laugh
Number 2 he had a scruffy and scratchy beard
Number 3 me and barley used to play drums on his feet"I said
" weird those are barleys memories of him" Ian said
" maybe it's just a coincidence" you said
" wait can I see if he still remembers me by playing the melody on his feet like I used to?" I asked barley
" you can give it a try to see if he remembers ya" he said
I gave it a shot He flinched at first
(just hum pop goes the weasel)
But then he nudged his foot against mine
" look at that he remembers ya!" Barely said
" all right Ian I saw you cast a levitation spell in the Tavern why don't you give that a shot again?" I said
" I don't know I just learned how to do magic"Ian said
" you can't always just use your magic in dangerous situations it will weaken your performance" i said
"O-ok i'll try..." Ian said
" aloft Elevar!" He yelled
"Hmm... all right now I see the problem" I said
" problem what problem?" Ian said
" you're saying it right but are you speaking from your heart's fire" I said
" all this magic stuff is new to me I don't know what hearts fire is" Ian said
" OK let me show ya" I said as I took the wizard staff pointed it at the soda can
" aloft Elevar!" I said as a soda can shot up into the roof
" oh geez I didn't expect it to work" I said surprise
" why does everyone in this car have something magical about them except me?!" Barley said
" there's probably a reason you don't have magic or the gift" I said
We continued on our journey to find the Phoenix gym and it wasn't easy
