He was confused. So confused.
The confusion he'd felt for weeks didn't leave him, not even in his sleep was he free from the thoughts that seemed to haunt him.
He couldn't understand. What did he do wrong?
He tried so hard to help everyone, to smile, to help others even though he hurt. He always put others first, even then he was being treated like a monster.
It was unfair, but who was he to do anything about it? He could always try and make them want to set him free, but even then he doubted that that would be the right thing to do.
He didn't control people's emotions. He could, but he wouldn't. Not anymore. He knew better than to.
