Taehyung pov
With trembling hands I dialed his number
'its Jungkook' he said a bit confused
'is she with you?' I said noticing the slight crack in my voice
Jungkook annoyingly sighed
'what are you talking about?'
'y/n'
'uhm no why? is she not with you?' Jungkook asked, now in an alerted way.
'no uhm she doesn't pick up, she isn't here. Can you check with Jimin?
'I will' Jungkook said and he hung up
It was kind of a relief for me she wasn't with him, but that means she is still missing..
I immediately called Yoongi he didn't know either. then I thought about interactions with y/n the past few days. was there anything off? she didn't feel good and Monday she was pretty distant but I blamed that on our fight. Sunday Soobin did some errands for her, maybe she said something to him?
I drove back to my house and ran inside where Soobin was standing
'Soobin, Sunday when you met y/n was there anything out of the ordinary did she say anything to you?'
I could see Soobins face in stress
'I uhm why?'
'she is gone. '
Soobins eyes grew big and it was clear to me he knew more
'so you better fucking tell me what you know'
He stammered
'she uhm she asked me to get her a'
It was evident he had difficulty to find the words
'a?' I impatiently asked
'a pregnancy test'
My world started spinning.
Yoongi walked in,
'y/n is gone?' he said and I was still not really able to answer, processing what Soobin just said.
Yoongi immediately got his phone out and started to call people. Then he nudged me
'we should check out her house see if she left any clue behind'
'Jungkook and Jimin are also on their way'
An hour later Jungkook and Jimin arrived. We waited for them outside the house. Jungkook looked very upset
'how the hell did you lose her out of your sight' Jungkook said angry
'fuck you, I am not going to trace every fucking move she makes'
Yoongi moved to stand between us
'okay Jimin and Tae will check y/ns house and me and Jungkook will keep calling people to see if we can figure out where she went'
y/n pov
I had been in the room for 24 hours, I was able to get some sleep so that was good. It was difficult though cause it were 24 hours of reflection. There were moments I wanted to back down cause I feared for the baby. but I wouldn't have done this if there wasn't 95% chance I would survive. I was sure this was going to happen, and without this the baby's life would always be in danger.
Suddenly the door opened and my heart beat out of my chest.
'baby, daddy is here' I heard Kai saying, I vomited a bit in my mouth ugh this guy. He walked towards the bed and sat on it
'Sunny where are you?'
I walked out of my hiding place pointing the gun at him with trembling hands. When he saw me initially he did look a bit scared
'y/n?'
I didn't say anything
'are you going to kill me now?' he asked but not nervous anymore or anything.
As I was pointing the gun at him I hesitated. was I really a killer? like Taehyung, Jungkook, Jimin and Yoongi? could I do this?
Kai got up and laughed
'you can't do it' 'it's not a joke to kill someone'
'stay the fuck down' I shouted at him.
He looked at me and I saw he was going to make a move. he moved forward so quickly towards me
The loud pang
Kai fell to the floor.
I was paralyzed. I thought this through, this was the point I had to run, I mean his men were outside. but I couldn't move.
I killed someone.
Suddenly the door swept open and I was scared this was it, that his men barged in and would kill me, instead Hoseok came running in. he gasped at the sight but quickly grabbed me.
'we have to get out of here' he said to me and I went with him
I was sitting with Kirsty, I was completely numb. Namjoon Jin and Hoseok were also in the house. I heard Hoseok calling all kinds of people, they now had to move fast so that Namjoon him and Jin would take over.
She prepared some chicken noodle soup for me and placed it on the table
'y/n you need to eat darling'
I wasn't hungry, I think I was still slightly in shock.
Suddenly Taehyung, Jungkook, Jimin and Yoongi barged in. Taehyung running towards me and kneeling down. He caressed my cheek looking me in the eyes
'y/n are you okay? what happened?'
I guess Hoseok hasn't told them anything. I shook my head unable to find the words.
Namjoon walked in
'Kai is dead, most gang members agree for me to replace him.'
'dead?' Jungkook asked and then looked at me, he came closer kneeling down next to Taehyung
'y/n, please talk to us, what happened, what did you do?'
'I uhm I killed him'
All their faced turned to me, including Yoongis and Jimins.
'what, how?'
'I uhm I found out I was pregnant and I couldn't stand the thought my baby would never be safe if Kai was alive so I think I lost it and I made this plan to kill Kai, and I did it'
Both their faces turned into a somewhat confused face
'y/n how could you endanger yourself like that when you're pregnant?' Taehyung asked, he didn't sound necessarily angry, but rather confused.
'I just, you all can't really do anything. We have been trying to find a way to get rid of Kai for months and nothing. I didn't care about myself being in danger all the fucking time, but having a child?'
I looked at Taehyung with tears in my eyes.
'I thought about Soon and I got so scared. I knew I needed to kill Kai in order for this child to ever be safe.'
I looked at them both
'I know you are in a difficult position because of the code and the oath you swore, but I am not in that position. I would have been able to do this.'
'and I would never have done it if the chances of survival were really slim. But I knew with the help of Hoseok and Kristy I could do this, it was the only place Kai was unarmed'
I am really sorry, I know I didn't act rationally'
'it's okay y/n I think we both understand your reasons. I think it would be good if we leave Seoul as soon as possible. Let's all go back to Deagu' Taehyung said and Jungkook nodded.
I nodded as well and got up from my chair
We were all in Daegu, me, Jimin, Yoongi, Junkook and Taehyung. They could discuss the Seoul situation now properly, just like we did after Taemin died.
However this time Namjoon, Jin and Hoseok were able to take the power in Seoul. It seemed that everything was finally over. Taemin and Kai were both gone and nobody of their fucked up family was eager to take the role of Mafia leader.
The only thing that wasn't done was the situation between me Taehyung and Jungkook and I knew I had to make it done.
I woke up the next day and I just stayed in bed playing with Lyn. I hadn't slept well, I saw Kai's face often in my mind. How his lifeless body was on the floor of the brothel.
The bell rang and I wondered who it could be. I quickly took my bathrobe and put it over my gown. I walked to the door and opened it.
