( Daryl POV )
She did it again.
Went and got herself into danger for someone else.
Again and again and again
I felt myself clench my crossbow as I eyed the mysterious woman in the front seat of the car, after everything that had happened we were heading to get our people back from that place. A fucked up town. She didn't say much about that place Y/N had been taken too, but from her few words we could all tell it wasn't safe. Why else would she of run from that place. Why else would she come tell us if it was actually safe.
I sighed and looked out the window before I noticed the women motion for Rick to stop the car. We all watched as she opened the car door and stepped out, looking at the surrounding area,"They have patrols a bit more down this way. From here we're better off on foot."
With that news in mind me and Oscar got out of the back seat an started collecting our stuff , Rick followed in our step soon too but paused to stare at the sky. The sun was all the way up now, and soon it'd start going back down. "How far is it? It's gonna be night soon."
Me and Oscar opened up the trunk, I heard a walker walking behind us but none of us even cared to focus on it. I just shook my head in annoyance as the woman spoke again. Here eyes focused in on Rick as she fixed her weapon around her,"It's a mile, maybe two."
With that Rick rushed to the trunk and pulled out his stuff, Oscar kept his eyes on the walker while I waited for Rick to finish before closing the back of the car. With all of us ready we closed up the car and began our walk into the woods, the walker trying to get to us while we ignored its slow figure who was quickly left behind. Being out in the woods in this situation makes me think of when Y/N was missing with Sophia. So long ago
I sighed to myself as I walk side by side with Rick, the woman and Oscar leading the way. I was paying close attention to our trail, making sure we could find a way to sneak back if things went wrong. Like they always do. Rick's eyes kept moving back and forth from me and the trail until they finally stopped on me.
"You know, what you did for me." I looked at him for a second, and he turned his focus back on the woods now that he knew for sure I was listening. I just stayed silent waiting for him to continue. "For my baby while I was..working things out." I don't think I do too much. As we kept walking I looked at him just as he turned to look at me,"Thank you."
I nodded at him and we both focused back on the road,"It's what we do."
I couldn't help but twitch my head as I thought I'd heard something, but as we continued to walk forward nothing appeared. I shook my head until I heard it again and I placed my hand on Ricks shoulder,"Stop."
Rick instantly understood and stopped the other two,"Get down." We all crouched low to the ground only to see a bit ahead of us over a dozen walkers suddenly come from no where.
"Why are there so many?"
The woman sighed as she peeked at the walkers through the bushes,"It means we're close. They never get in but it's surrounded by em."
Rick made his way to the front of us and raised his weapon,"Alright, get into formation. And no gunfire."

"What is this place?"
Me and Rick ignored the question that had been whispered as we were more focused on the putrid smell that was overtaking this small run down building. "What's that smell?" I tossed Rick a light that had been on me as I continued to hold my crossbow up. Once Rick got the light on he started pointing it all over the room until it landed on blood. It covered the floorboards.
"What the hell is that?"
I moved around a small pillar that seemed to be holding the roof up and realized it was a dead animal,"It looks like a fox, or well whats left of one." Everyone got a closer look at the dead animal and I shook m head,"I guess Lassie went home."
I went on searching the room before all of us turning to face the front door, it began to be pounded against. Those walkers had managed to follow us all the way here and now they'd blocked off the only exit we knew of. Rick searched the room again and soon his light landed on what looked like a body. Dead? Alive? Rick whistled for us all to keep our eyes on it. Just in case.
Soon he motioned his head for me to check, and I slowly made my way over. I put my crossbow back onto my back and instead pulled out a knife as me and Rick slowly neared the body. Once I had a grip on the blanket I ripped it off the body. All for of us jumped back a step as the body turned out to be a man. An alive one.
"Ah! Who the hell are you!?"
Rick held his hands out so the man could see he had no weapons on him. His one yell had already make the walkers even louder." "We don't mean any harm-"
"Get outta my house!"
"OKAY okay we will." Rick slowly got closer to the man,"But we can't right now, we-"
The crazy man fully stood up and make all of us back up,"NOW!"
"Fucking shit,"the woman raised her hand up to her katana as she moved around the middle pillar,"Shut him up."
He was about to yell again but Rick spoke first,"There are walkers outside, stop yelling." The man immediately focused on the shadows coming in from outside. The building was dark allowing any movement from outside to be seen. We could all easily see how many had surrounded this place.
He began to yell like crazy even after seeing the many walkers shadows banging on the building. Rick put down his weapons and lied about him having his police badge in his pocket to try and calm the man down. Nothing worked. Soon enough Rick had his arm around the mans neck trying to get him to be silent,"You need to calm down! Please we aren't here to hurt you."
He tripped Rick and began to run to the front door even with growls coming from the other side. Before me, Rick or Oscar could react we just saw a figure rush over reminding me the slightest bit of Y/N. Next thing we knew the man was finally silent and he finally stopped moving. All we could hear was the sound of the womans katana being pulled back out of the mans back.
Rick didnt look too happy,but we didnt have a choice and she didnt look remorseful for a second.Only Y/N will be able to get through this chick. "We need find our way out of here, now!"
( Your POV )
So annoying. Ugh. I sighed as the man stood there just watching me again while leaning against the only exit. After attempting to hurt me and get information out of me he seemed extremely angry. Well more angry than before but he couldn't get rid of it because all he'd managed to do was get his knife stuck in my hand as I'd blocked it.
"Let me see Glenn already, I've had enough of you. Let both of us go already." I pointed my stabbed hand at him and he visibly flinched,"And you're out of weapons at this point."
"I won't let you go."
I scoffed at him,"Then have fun throwing another punch at me." With a glare he opened the door and slammed it shut letting the sound echo throughout the building. I heard him yell like an wild animal before he began to stop his way out. Crazy nut. I pulled one of the chairs up with my foot and sat down onto it,"I really don't like people."
I stared up at the ceiling and eventually raised my hand up staring at the knife in it,"why is it always this hand? Why cant the crazies stab the other one?" I rolled my eyes as I finally pulled out the knife and slid it into my jackets pocket. I knew having not freaked out over it being plunged into my hand was bad but that man had pissed me off. I couldn't help but scare him. Should keep it, might need it later. It didn't take long for me to hear distant footsteps,and I knew they were headed towards me. Smelling the air I knew it wasn't him coming either, but it smelled familiar.
"Merle" I said right as the door opened to show him bald head. I couldn't help but smile knowing it was him this time and he walked into the room letting the door close behind him. "Its nice to see you agai-"
Merle suddenly pulled down my face mask and all I could do was stare at him in confusion. The second I felt him run his finger on my cheek I understood,"Where else did he hurt you?"
I looked away from his eyes focusing around the room as I could sense eyes watching us,"Punch here and there, this cut and he really likes using his knife. I think he might have a weird kink with blood play,you should-"
He glared at me and yelled cutting me off,"I'm serious."
I rolled my eyes as I raised my hand to push his hand off my face,"I'm serious too Merle, and you know what side your on right now." He understood ,backed away from me, and went to knock on the door. In came another man with a smaller automatic type gun, and he instantly pointed it at me. I sighed,"I'm going I'm going."
I walked through the door with both men behind me, once I got into the hallway I was surprised by the kink master who smacked me against the wall with a metal bar. I was able to bring my arms up in time to grab the bar before I slammed against the wall. I looked over at Merle and the other guy and both just stared at me with wide eyes.
His voice quickly brought them out of their shock,"Bring her." He pulled the metal bar away and began walking down the hall, Merle grabbed hold of my arm and began following behind the kink master, he didn't hide how angry he was. Making sure neither man noticed, Merle began to rub at my hands trying to see if they'd be injured. Merle, you're lucky I'm already dead. You're doing a horrible job at trying to protect me. We suddenly stopped and I realized I could smell Glenn, I felt myself smile a little as the kink master opened the door. Before I could get inside though the kink master pulled me over to him and pushed a gun against my head,he then motioned for the other two to walk in first. They did, though Merle reluctantly.
"We're through with games,"the kink master pulled me into the room and I saw Glenn with some blood on him and he looked terrified out of his mind. I raised an eyebrow at looked over at Merle who avoided my eyes contact. God dammit Merle, well he's still alive. That means a lot. I hear a click from the gun and looked at the kink master,"Now one of you is gonna give up your groups location to me."
I laughed.
Glenn just stared in fear and confusion as the governor glared so darkly at me. Through his clench jaw he growled a question,"What are you laughing at?"
I kept laughing as I locked eyes with him, suddenly I stopped all sound and glared back. Fear flooded his eyes as well as I responded annoyed with him,"You."
I pushed his hand up just as he pulled the trigger, then twisted his arm to he point that he voluntarily faced away so I couldn't break it. I smiled as I kicked at his exposed back , he flew out the room and slammed against the wall in the hallway. The man with the gun tried to shoot me but I was able to dodge most of them before flipping him onto his back pulling his gun away and flinging it to the other side of the room. I then pressed my foot against his throat. Merle tried to move but I pulled out the knife I hid and held it against his throat,"Don't worry,"I muttered to him under my breathe.
The second I looked at Merles eyes all I could see were imaginary hearts filling them, literally a fucking schoolgirl in love. I rolled my eyes as kink master finally stumbled his way back in and stared at the scene,"Tell me where you're camp is or I'll kill you both!!"
I pushed Merle towards the door and jumped away from the man on the floor,"Try your best, you can barely touch me." I stared at the gun in his hand,"Even with a gun, you're just shit."
The man ran out the door, then Merle walked out and the last thing I saw was kink master slam the door closed. All I could do was sigh as I turned around and Glenn hugged me instantly. "Glenn, calm down. Are you okay?" He looked up at me and gave me a kiss over my mask,"You need to sit and calm down Glenn, you're shaking."
"I'm sorry."
I shook my head at him and lead him to a cleaner spot on the floor,"Come on,"I pulled him down to sit and he leaned against me. I hadn't got a good look at the room before so I began to inspect it and I noticed a dead walker, but it was fresh? Wait...did Glenn have to kill a walker?
( Rick POV )
"Over here," we followed after the woman, going through the dark trees to hide from the bright lights. We made it to the town and now we could see this "safe place", with people guarding the front. They had bright lights facing the road , a few dead walkers littered the front gate, and as I observed the area I couldn't really see an entrance.
"What have Y/N and Glenn gotten into.."
Daryl only glanced at the building as he spoke before going back to watching me, the woman, and Oscars back with his crossbow. Some walkers were still around but they'd left us alone up to now. Hopefully it stayed that way. I got close to the woman as she hadn't removed her eyes from those guarding,"Is the mayor there?"
"No, he should be in his stupid house." I only nodded at her and I finally noticed her eyes widen,"Let's go."
