Mark's POV
"Have you double checked everything that you need?" Vee asked, looking at me.
Today's our flight to New York and we're just waiting for Joss to pick us up. He volunteered to accompany us and see us off to the airport so I agreed. My parents won't be able to see me off too since they're still in Paris right now.
I nodded. "Yeah. How about you?" I asked back after zipping up my luggage.
"I got everything. Where's your friend?" he asked, pertaining to Joss who already was on the way to fetch us.
"He called about 30 minutes ago and said he's already on the way so I think he's already near." I answered.
He nodded and went back to what he's doing with his phone.
*ring ring
Speaking of, I think that's Joss. I grabbed my phone on the night stand and saw a text from him saying that he's already downstairs.
I looked at Vee who was busy playing on his phone. "He's here baby. Let's go." I said.
Vee stood up and took all the big luggages, and I carried the small ones. We went out of my room and got into the elevator and as soon as we went down, Joss helped us load our bags into his car.
I opened the door on the front seat and was supposed to enter, when Vee suddenly grabbed my hand to stop me. "Go at the back. I'll ride here." he said and quickly got into the front seat.
I looked at him confused. What's his problem? I just shrugged it off and got into the back seat. "Are you guys all set?" Joss asked as soon as I entered the car.
I nodded. "Yep. Thanks again Joss." I said and smiled.
He looked into the rearview mirror and smiled back. "Of course. Anything for you." he said.
"Psh, done being mushy mushy? Let's go. We might be late." Vee demanded in a monotonous voice.
I saw Joss smirk and start the car, and we're off to the airport. I got my phone and wore my bluetooth earphones to listen to music while waiting. I closed my eyes and didn't realize that I already fell asleep.
I woke up with someone gently tapping my cheeks. "Baby, wake up." a very familiar voice said. I opened my eyes and saw Vee smiling at me.
I opened my eyes and got greeted by Vee's handsome face which instantly made me smile. Waking up seeing him is really the best feeling. "Baby, are we here?" I asked, while gently rubbing my eyes.
He nodded. "Yes baby. Come on." he sand and held my hand and helped me get out the car. We got our luggages with the help of Joss and went inside the airport.
After checking our luggages, we decided to eat first since I'm already hungry. We chose a Chinese restaurant and quickly got in. We sat down and ordered our food from the menu the waitress gave us.
"So, where do you plan to go once you land on NYC?" Joss asked as the waitress excused herself.
"Hmm, to be honest, we still don't have a definite itinerary. I'm gonna meet my dad's friend first about the investment on his clothing company and check on our US branch, then we'll just think of where to go after." I answered. I've been to the States a lot but I haven't been specifically to New York yet.
Joss nodded. "I've been to New York a lot because of my mom. Of course you should go to the Empire State building and the Statue of Liberty." he suggested.
"Yep, that's part of my plan!" I said excitedly. "I've been dying to go there!" I added.
He smiled and messed up my hair. "Yeah, you really should." he said.
Our conversation was interrupted when the food came. The waitress served us our orders and left after.
"Here."
"Here."
I looked at both Vee and Joss who spoke at the same time, and both of them handing me utensils. Vee was giving me chopsticks while Joss was handing me spoon and fork.
We were engulfed in an awkward silence and both of them are looking intently at each other, almost glaring. I laughed nervously. "Uh, I'll just take both." I said in order to get their attention even before they kill each other.
We started to eat and I did my best to eat while using both utensils given to me. I may have looked stupid but I just did it anyway in order to for both of them to not complain.
"Here, eat more baby." Vee said and placed more food on my plate.
"Try this Mark." Joss said at the same time and placed food on my plate too.
I looked at both of them again. Seriously, what's with them? It's literally so awkward right now because of them. I was hesitating on which food to eat first because I can see them looking at me and anticipating which food I eat first.
I looked at him and smiled. "Thanks baby." I said and looked at Joss. "Thanks Joss." I said.
I picked up both food using my chopsticks and shoved them together in my mouth.
We continued eating silently because the atmosphere is a bit awkward. After eating and paying for the meal, Joss accompanied us to the boarding area and I bid my goodbye.
"Thanks for today Joss. We appreciate your help." I said.
He came closer to me and I was startled when he suddenly hugged me. I relaxed though right after. "You're welcome. I'll miss you." he sincerely said.
"Psh, as if you won't see each other for a long time." Vee sarcastically whispered, but it was still loud enough for us to hear.
I ignored him and turned my attention back to Joss. "Silly. I'll see you in a week. I'll even bring back a gift for you." I said, laughing gently.
He pulled away and messed up my hair once again. I think its become a habit of his because I was a bit small for him, he treats me like a kid. "I don't need any gift. Let's just have dinner again once you come back." he said.
Vee coughed suddenly, getting our attention. "Let's go baby." he said, emphasizing on the 'baby'. "We might be late." he added.
I nodded. "Thanks again Joss. Bye, I'll see you in a week." I said while waving my hand.
He waved back. I was supposed to wave again but Vee suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me to face him. "Tsk, can we just go?" he asked sternly, his eyes narrowing down on me.
I just nodded and walked with him. After checking our passports, we got inside the plane. We purposely got business class seats so that it will be more spacious and there's more privacy.
We sat down and Vee instantly wore his earphones and played a game on his phone. I felt that something was wrong so I gently tapped his shoulder. "Baby... baby..." I said but he just ignored me. "Baby... are you mad at me?" I asked.
"Tsk, Mark. I'm playing." he said monotonously, while continuously not giving me attention.
I knew it. He is mad. He called me Mark and not any of our endearment. "But I need your attention baby. Am your game more important than me?" I asked in a pout, while acting like a kid.
He smirked. "Yeah. Just like how your friend is more important then me." he said sarcastically.
My eyebrows furrowed. "What are you saying baby? You know that's not true." I answered, denying his accusations.
"Tsk." he said and looked at me. "From the car ride until we boarded the plane, weren't your attention always at him? You were always talking to him, and ignoring me. Psh, forget it." he explained and brushed off the topic.
He was supposed to look on his phone again but I quickly grabbed his chin and made him look at me. I looked at the other people here on the plane and all of them were busy with their own thing so I quickly closed the gap between us and gave him a light kiss on his lips.
"Don't ever think that. I love you and you're the most special one for me. I was just talking to him because he's my friend, but you Vee, are my lover." I said while directly looking at his eyes. But he was still sulking so I gave him a big smile. "Smile for me?" I said.
He was still sulking so I placed my two of my fingers on the ends of lips and pushed it up so that he'll smile, which made him smile eventually. "Okay baby." he said, now smiling genuinely.
"Stop being jealous Mr. Vivis." I teased.
He pouted. "Tsk, I can't help it. You guys are too sweet and close for my own comfort." he said.
"No matter how sweet we are, we're just friends. Nothing more, nothing less." I assured him.
It seemed like he was thinking of something. "Baby, if you didn't meet me or we aren't together. Will you like him?" he asked curiously.
"Hmm, maybe? Yes? Joss is someone not hard to like." I honestly said. "He's very humble and funny. And he's even handsome and he has a good body too." I explained.
"Tsk, how did you know he has a good body?" he asked and crossed his arms.
I laughed nervously. "I saw it on his social media account." I answered.
"Who has a better body between us?" he asked childishly.
I acted as if I was thinking but I already have an answer. I'm still thinking if I should lie though because I don't want to hurt his feelings and he might sulk again. "Hmm, Joss?" I said slowly, being honest.
"Psh, then go to him! You might want him to go to New York with you more than me." he said.
I sighed. I knew it. "But baby, I was only being honest. He really has a great body but that doesn't mean yours isn't great. Besides, although he has a better body, I'll choose yours over and over again." I said, trying to console him.
"Tsk, let's not talk about that. What about looks? Who's more handsome?" he asked again.
I laughed. "Seriously baby, is this a competition?" I asked but he just looked at me so I have no choice but to answer. "Of course you're more handsome baby." I said.
It seemed like he was satisfied with my answer so he smiled widely. "Very good baby." he said and patted my head, his mood becoming lighter than before.
"Let's stop this silly competition and let's just sleep." I said.
He nodded and held my hand. I closed my eyes and I'm off to dreamland again.

"Finally! I miss you land!" I said and touched the ground as soon as we got out the plane. Almost 18 hours of flight literally made me miss the ground.
"Stop over acting babe." Vee said who was at my side, laughing at my crazy antics.
We were greeted by the chauffeur as soon as we left the airport. "Good afternoon Mr. Masa. Let me help you with your luggage." he said and helped us load our bags on the car.
Vee and I entered the car and we left the airport. "What's the name of the hotel we're staying at?" Vee asked.
Vee really doesn't know anything because I prepared everything for this trip, not me actually but my secretary. "We're not staying at the hotel. We're going to our house." I answered.
He nodded. "Rich kid perks." he teased which made me laugh.
While we were inside the car, I decided to call my parents to say that I safely landed here in NYC.
"Hello baby." my mom greeted.
"Hi mom, I just called to say that I'm already here in New York." I updated her.
"That's great baby. Don't forget to enjoy okay?" she said.
"Yes mom. You and dad too. How's Paris?" I asked.
"It's great baby. Your dad and I are having fun. We should come back here again with you." she said excitedly.
"Of course mom, I would love too." I answered.
"Baby I'm gonna go now, our food is here. Call me later okay?" she reminded me.
"Yes mom, I'll call you later, bye." I said and ended the call.
The ride to our house wasn't that long because we reached it at about 30 minutes. This house was built because of my parents when they visit our branch here in New York. Although I haven't been here, I've seen this in pictures when I was young.
We got off the car and was greeted by the guards and maids in which we smiled at them in return. A maid led us in our separate rooms but as soon as she left, Vee nonchalantly entered my room which made me laugh.
He got closer to me and hugged me. "Where do you want to go first?" he asked.
"Hmm, let's rest first today. Let's do light things first, shopping? And I'm also kinda hungry." I suggested.
He nodded. "Okay. Let's take a bath first. I'm in dire need of a shower right now." he said.
I agreed and went to my room's bathroom but I was startled when he suddenly followed me inside. "Vee, just use the other room to take a bath." I said.
I know for a fact that something else will happen when we take a bath together. And I can't afford that right now because my tummy is already growling and I'm so hungry.
But he didn't listen and instead, he came close to me and pinned me to the wall, locking both of his arms on both sides so I can't get out. "Do you know what I'm doing right now?" he asked.
"W-what?" I stuttered, unable to look at him in the eyes.
"This is what I do before I kiss someone." he said and suddenly grabbed the strings of my hoodie and pulled me in. He slowly leaned in and I can't help but close my eyes. A few seconds later, I felt his lips connected mine.
I kissed him back instantly, feeling my cheeks heat up every time his tongue invades my mouth. We continued kissing but we suddenly stop when we heard my stomach growl.
He laughed. "Oops, I guess you're really hungry." he said and left me in the bathroom embarrassed.
I pouted and looked at myself in the mirror. "That did not just happen Mark." I said, pitying myself. Ugh, I wanted to drown myself. That was so embarrassing!
I had no choice but to take a bath despite my humiliation. I finished a few minutes later and got out the bathroom. I saw Vee sitting on the bed and already dressed so I quickly changed to my casual clothes.
We went down and asked the chauffeur to bring us to a famous restaurant and I was left in awe when I entered to restaurant. It has a view of the whole city of New York, and we were just in time because the sun is about to set.
The waiter led us to our seats and gave us the menu. After picking our food, the waiter excused himself. I looked back at the view and was mesmerized by how beautiful the city is.
I looked back at Mark who was sitting in front of me and saw that he was staring at me. "Why are you staring at me baby?" I asked.
He smiled. "You're beautiful baby." he answered which made me instantly blush. "I can stare at you all day." he added.
I looked away, unable to contain myself from his gaze. "Stop being cheesy baby." I said.
His hands suddenly held mine which made me look back at him. "Baby, let's go to more countries after this. Let's tour the world." he said.
I smiled. "I would love that baby. As long as its with you." I said sincerely.
Just imagining that I am travelling to different countries with Vee already makes me smile. And as we spend more years together, we get to go to more and more countries that we want. I just dreamt to be in this kind of moment with him and now, I'm actually here with him, looking over the tall buildings of New York City.
"Where do you want to go next?" he asked.
"Hmm, I want to go to New Zealand." I said excitedly. I ahve a great interest when it comes to nature so I've been really wanting to go there but I still haven't because of some circumstances but i would love to go there with Vee.
"Then we'll go there next." he stated with a big smile on his face.
"Once I get to separate with Ploy, we'll go there straight away. Just a little more wait Mark." he said, his eyes fixated on mine.
I smiled. "I already told you right? I am willing to wait for you Vee, not unless you yourself push me away. A year? 2 years? 5 years? Even if it takes forever." I said, pouring out all my feeling in my words. Letting him know how much I love him.
"But I'm scared Mark. I'm afraid that one day you'll get tired. That one day you'll leave me alone because you have waited for so long." he answered, fear evident in his voice.
I gave him a smile. "You don't need to be scared Mark because I love you." I assured him.
I know our journey is far from over. I'll encounter many challenges and I'll even go through the eye of the needle but I don't care. All I know is that I can face everything just for the sake of getting Vee in the end.
And no matter how hard it is, I'll love him always, in all ways.
