Chapter One

Your mind was blank, not unusual for the type of situation you were in and likely would be in until the foundation deactivated you so they could use your cell for a different anomaly. You couldn't exactly remember why you were created. You deleted that information as it was useless now that you were in a prison.

You looked to your left, the same stuff was there. A mirror, the piece of paper that explained what you were on it, and the door to your containment that you rarely ever got to see the outside of. You looked to your right. There was nothing there. You looked back into the mirror, examining yourself.

Your h/l hair was longer than your earliest memory of it. Like it was growing. Like human hair. Not too much longer, just noticeably an inch or two longer.

You despised them. Humans. You hated them with a burning passion. You snapped yourself out of your anger induced daze and paid attention to your surroundings.

The alarms were blaring and you could hear commotion outside your own personal hell. Suddenly, your cell door opened and you saw a familiar mask. "Oh... It's you..." It was 035, or Sock, as you called him. "It's me, again. Since I know you don't like me, take this." He tossed an object at you. You caught it and looked at it. It was a level 5 keycard. You looked up and he was gone. You shrugged started your journey.

You walked the seemingly endless halls, making turns left and right, going up a floor or two, it began to blend together. The only sounds you heard were your own footfalls, a few crunches here and there, 049 singing Ring around a Rosie, the normal sounds you were used to hearing during breaches at that point. You found yourself in what everyone called the sewers. You tended to be wary of this part of the foundation, as 106 stayed down there for entire breaches and you and him weren't exactly on good terms, and the 939's roamed down there.

You heard someone walking behind you. It was likely either Larry, or a D class, neither of which you liked. You got ready to slap whoever was following you. You felt something grab your shoulder.

"Excuse me, but-"

"ᗪOᑎ'T TOᑌᑕᕼ ᗰE!" You yelled, your voice box was distorted as you haven't done as much as talk for a long time. "Don't get pissy with me." It was another android, but he looked to be an older model. "Oh. You're an android. I'm sorry, I thought you were a D class," You explained yourself. "Yeah, I just wanted to tell you that you dropped somethi-" He looked over your shoulder looking like the fear of god was in him. "Follow me... And don't make a noise..." His voice was lowered. The shorter robot grabbed your wrist and led you back to an elevator that he shoved you in.

"What did you see?" You asked after he closed the doors to the elevator. "One of the 939's. I don't know about you, but I personally don't want to get mauled by blind naked dogs," He answered.

"I'm so rude, I'm sorry. I'm 079, The Old AI," 079 introduced himself, extending out his hand. "I'm 6187, but you can call me Y/n. Nice to meet you." You shook his hand. "Oh, also, you dropped this." He handed you your card. "Thank you. Usually, others would just steal it." You took the card from 079's hand. It was quiet for a few minutes, other than you hearing 049 droning on and on about the pestilence and the sound of stone scraping on stone.

You.... You liked him? You didn't know if it was your default 'tolerate everyone until they do something awful' coding, or if you actually liked him.

You examined him. He had a small, thin body, you liked that as he could possibly fit perfectly in your arms. He had black and white hair that looked so soft and poofy that you wanted to comb your fingers through his hair. You wanted to hold him close. You didn't understand why you were feeling these things or what these feelings even were.

"Y/n? You're staring at me." You snapped out of the daze. "Sorry.... I.... Nevermind." You couldn't explain yourself without seeming creepy, you knew that so you just shut up.

"SCP-682 JUST BROKE OUT AT GATE B. I WANT ALL AVAILABLE HELICOPTERS AND MTF UNITS AT GATE B NOW. I REPEAT; SCP-682 IS OUT OF THE FACILITY. ALL AVAILABLE HELICOPTERS AND MTF UNITS AT GATE B NOW."

Just then, there was a loud roar that made 079 lose his balance. "What's 682?" You asked. You had never heard of that SCP before. "Um.... He's.... He's a friend of mine," He explained the best he could. "That doesn't help." There was another roar, yet this one was more powerful and knocked the both of you down.

"WE'RE DETONATING THE WARHEADS IN T MINUS 90 SECONDS. ALL PERSONNEL ARE ADVISED TO BOARD  THE NEAREST HELICOPTER OR ENTER THE NEAREST BLAST SHELTER IMMEDIATELY."

079 looked at you with fear and confusion in his eyes as sirens likely damaged your hearing. The elevator opened and some researchers shoved you and 079 out. As the doors to the elevator closed, he turned to you. "Are we gonna die?" You just stared, unsure of what to say.

"WE WERE UNABLE TO DETONATE THE WARHEADS. ALL HELICOPTERS AND MTF UNITS GO BACK TO GATE B NOW. CAPTURING SCP-682 IS NOW ON NUMBER ONE PRIORITY"

He backed into a wall in relief. You and him sat there for what seemed like an eternity, with the sounds of helicopter blades and gunshots drowning out each other's words. "Could you actually explain what 682 is?" You asked. You saw his eyes light up with excitement. He told you everything he knew about 682, how long they'd been friends, other normal things someone would say about their friend.

After a few hours of you and 079 talking back and forth, an MTF unit dragged you away from him and him away from you. You saw the pain in his eyes as they treated him roughly and grabbed his arms too hard. You wanted to fight them. You wanted to hurt them. You wanted to kill them.

"Ow, you're squeezing my arm! Please, loosen your grip," He begged, trying to break free. "Fucking coward. You're a robot you can't even feel pain." You felt yourself start overheating. "OW! What the fuck?! It's burning!" The MTF holding your left arm exclaimed as he swiped his hand away. You tore off his helmet and grabbed him by the throat, bringing him up to your level before squeezing his neck until it exploded. "HOLY SHIT! SHAWN, FRED! 6187 FUCKING KILLED DAVE!" The other MTF yelled at the two holding 079.

They dropped 079 and rushed over to you. You noticed how he had been dropped from a foot or so in the air and the agony in his eyes as he lied on the ground. You blacked out and next thing you know, there were four MTFS on the ground, dead, of course, across the hallway from you and 079.

"You.... You killed.... You're gonna kill.... Please, don't kill me..." He begged as he scooted away from you. "No, I won't kill you. I promise. I just want to know if you're okay," You explained, stepping closer to him. "Don't get any closer! If you take one more step, I'll..." He didn't have a plan and he knew it, so did you. You stopped dead in your tracts so you didn't scare him anymore.

"I just want to make sure you're okay," You told him. "I'm fine, I swear," He said, still backing away from you. You fell to your hands and knees after a roar that definitely damaged your hearing to an extent. The roars got closer. And closer. Soon they were just growls.

"SCP-682 HAS JUST BEEN RECONTAINED. ALL FOUNDATION PERSONNEL MUST STAY IN A SAFE ZONE UNTIL ALL SCPS HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED TO BE RECONTAINED."

A new MTF unit grabbed you and 079 and took you back to your cell. They weren't being as rough with him as the other two were, so you let them live. You decided to pay attention to the MTF's holding your arms.

"Yeah, we gotta see that footage. I'm guessing 6187 killed them. I bet you fifty bucks that it was because the newbies thought they owned the world and treated either it or 079 like shit," One said. "Hey, 6187, who did you kill first, and why'd you kill in the first place?" The other asked. "John!" The first one ridiculed "John" as he snickered quietly to himself.

"I killed... I think his name was Dave first. Then I killed the other one that was holding my arm. And then I killed Shawn and Fred. They were treating 079 like garbage and he was keeping me company and hadn't done anything wrong," You answered.

"See?! SEE?! I TOLD CAPTAIN PAUL HE SHOULDN'T LET THE RECRUITS RECONTAIN THE SCPS WITHOUT SOME SUPERVISION! BUT WHAT DO I KNOW, I'M JUST SOME MID-COMMANDER!" The first one ranted. "Did you mention 079? Oooh, is he your boyfriend?" John teased.

You tolerated them, John and Harrison. They treated all SCPs that were slightly human-like. Although you didn't have emotions, which meant you couldn't form opinions, they still asked you about your feelings about stuff, like SCP-999 and cats.

You felt cared about when around John, Harrison, and 079. At least they had some respect.
