Continuation of Chapter 9 :)
They had taken many stunning photos and they were finally ready to start on the last one.
"please change into these now."
They boys did and one by one they took their shot.
(about 2 hours worth of photo editing later.... Literally)
"WE DID IT!!!!"
The production team said as he proudly showed his best one yet.
(my editing isn't that good but hey, I tried)
Over the summer, Kuroko slowly started to heal himself on the inside.
Even though the old him still haunted his sleep each night, Kuroko didn't feel as alone as before.
I'm his dreams, he would stand still as he watches himself cry, the tears that no one use to see could now be comforted and it was more than he deserved.
Each night was painful but he could deal with it because the time he spent with the miracles made him a little more positive.
A question he wondered about since the beginning would sometimes spring to mind
Was his heart shining to the others?
He sat in the dark listening to his old self cry. He was fine, he was ready, he needed to go.
He sat next to his crying old self before getting up and looking over his shoulder.
"I'm not alone anymore, I'm standing along side others with their shining hearts so..."
He turned his back to the him from the past.
"Goodbye to myself from once apon a time."
The summer holidays were over and the cold weather started to set in. The need for cuddles and kisses had increased and the others all happily agreed.
Especially Kise since he was warm and clingy, and Kuroko complied because he liked it. It was as if the heat from the others blew away his negative thoughts and as each day passed, the nights became easier.
Even Midorima eventually gave into the hugs. It was a lot easier after the hugging challenge the while back.
Aomine too, Kuroko hugged him a lot after the matches when the ace showed off and pulled crazy to do dunks.
Kuroko sighed as he knew he was always probably going to be shorter but he didn't mind because being a shadow was easier that way.
Although.... He was still annoyed at the fact that he had never scored so after practice one day before they headed home, with help from Murasakibara, Kuroko's first dunk was a huge success.
"Thank you Murasakibara"
"You can say thanks by sharing some warmth...It's too cold!!!"
He hugged Kuroko into his jacket as the smaller turned around.
"Sure, want some of this sweet bun?"
"Wow it really is getting a lot colder" Kise said as they walked back slowly. The snow was already piling quite heavily and they decided to stop for a bit.
"Kurokocchi! Murasakibaracchi! Say cheese!!"
The seasons passed and second year was almost coming to an end. Practice was still fun for them all and each day was great.
"I hope we can be like this forever Tetsu."
"yeah, me too."
And when they graduated from second years to third years, they were now nationwide known as the generation of miracles.
Kuroko was happy, and it made him feel warm inside.
Just like he promised Momoi, he wished these days would last forever.
