It can be seen how in the middle of the forest, the former mystery cabin now had a more homey feel. Completely remodeled outside and inside, thanks to the Pacifica Northwest experience and a great deal of money, it was now a livable place. After sunrise, where the birds were singing and some were spitting flames, you know, radioactively affected. You can see how the two brothers were in the dining room.
The dining room was a cozy place, with various state-of-the-art appliances and classic decor. There was a round table to one side with three chairs, which seemed to be worth a lot of money. In the middle of it was a huge sliding window that showed the beautiful forest that surrounded them.
Both brothers were now looking at each other with a huge pile of toast in front of them.
"I open the tournament for whoever eats the most toast with blackberry jam," said Elizabeth as if she were an announcer.
Suddenly the two began to put as much food in their mouths, almost without chewing.
This was the beginning of summer, where classes ended for a season and now they would have all the time to have fun, explore, meet people and go to new places as her mother had promised.
Speaking of which, she walked with the phone to her ear while trying to organize her schedule. Now that they were not living in New York, she would not be able to go to fashion events, so she had sent all her sketches to the central studio, and she had to finish her column for the next magazine and accommodate the new radio interview .
He groaned upon hearing the complaints of one of his superiors.
"Kids I said about food competitions," I mumble, placing the phone on his shoulder and pulling a beer out of the fridge.
"Pfad magdma (But mom)" Elizabeth complained with her mouth full.
Instead Leo stopped when he felt the food was on the wrong track, but he had so much bread in his mouth that it turned blue from not being able to spit anything out. Suddenly he fell onto the table with his eyes open and the food coming out of his mouth.
Pacifica, unmoved, hit him hard on the back, which threw all the food onto the floor in the form of vomit.
Elizabeth took the opportunity to put the last toast in her mouth and raise her hands to heaven.
"VICTORIA!" I scream excitedly after swallowing.
...
The opening of Gravity falls third generation (with the original music of the series):
You can see the waterfall mountain and the huge lumberjack man who were always in the village, the view was as if it was from someone who is in a vehicle. The trip progressed to see the huge water tank with the name of the town.
Then the view shows how a car disappears, to see how Elizabeth and Leonardo are with a lot of suitcases, together with a confused expression. While their mother appears in front of them with a camera to take a photograph of them. In the background is her new fully restored home.
The image changes for them entering the place and everything is clean, but with many mysterious things around the place. The shot changes when they go through the candy vending machine, as it seems that everything becomes blurred for a second, slightly showing a triangle shadow.
You can see a shot of the forest, where they are in the middle of a meadow eating, Elizabeth tries to show her mother the photograph of a giant footprint, while in the background Leonardo runs scared by a strange huge slim and black being.
The image changes rapidly, revealing a huge cabin named "Mystery Cabin 2".
It looks like an old windmill on the mountain has the letters "W" "H" "A" "T" that move very slightly to form the word "What". With a question mark on it.
Everything changes again, now Elizabeth can be seen at the bottom of a cave with a lamp, while her name appears to her right. When she turns, she throws the lamp when she sees a dinosaur that is apparently stuck in a kind of amber.
The image changes to see Leonardo play the guitar with a white wildcat on his head.
Afterwards Leonardo appears in front of a mirror wearing a fashionable gray hat, with a star silhouette on it. The boy seems happy as he poses, smiling at someone imaginary and his name appears next to him.
Suddenly the image changes to see Pacifica sitting on a sofa reading a book she had written, then the image changes to her in the middle of a fashion show getting all the details ready. With your name in low letters.
The image changes to the three in front of the house, in a kind of bonfires while Pacifica tells stories. All this while behind her you can see the full moon and the silhouette of a wolf howling. The sound of the wolf causes Leonardo to have chills along with his twin sister.
The image quickly switches to Mystery Hut 2, where Soos is seen with his wife, and a boy sitting on the stairs about the age of Elizabeth and Leonardo, playing with a dart gun.
Now you can see various silhouettes of Elizabeth's book, the encrypted messages and the part of a kind of wheel, stained with blood.
She turns to see the attic, as Elizabeth is excited reading as Leonardo reads a music magazine. They both begin to float with everything around them, but the only one who seems to see something strange is Elizabeth who cocks her head before turning the page of the book. This book appears to be the biography of her hero, Dipper Pines.
Everything disappears and photographs begin to fall into a book. A werewolf, some Gnomes, a UFO that seems to be unseen, a unicorn that looks like it's about to attack, some black fangs with fangs, a carnivorous dinosaur, a blue-haired girl with a smiling look, some monkeys with bird wings, a kind of man with glasses. Finally, there are two photographs, the one of Pacifica when he was young with the Dipper brothers and the last one of Dipper Pines at the current age with his sister.
But the first one seemed to want to burn slowly.
A new photograph falls now.
One where Elizabeth can be seen smiling with a shirt with a pine tree on it, Leonardo comes out with a different bluish hat, behind them is Pacifica smiling hugging them both. Next to them is a young man who looked fifteen years old, with blond hair and green eyes in simple clothes. On the other side was Lucy the werewolf smiling gently at the camera with her dog ears.
Then comes a postcard with the name Gravity falls, which burns slowly, revealing the silhouette of a triangle and a wheel. So fast it can't be seen easily.
...
As the expression shows, the beginning of summer is a unique moment for every child or adolescent who finally comes out of the torture known as education. It was a time when they could have fun all day long, there was no study and the most worrying thing was how many goodies enter your mouth.
Pacifica looked as her children were seeing her with huge suitcases on her back, she sighed remembering the promise they had.
It was day number one, and they were excited to go to the lake of Gravity falls.
-I don't understand why so much excitement-I whisper keeping a food basket, while their children put some things that they would occupy for the trip.
A magazine appeared in front of her, where it looked like a television ad that was making money.
"We want to photograph the monster from the lake and earn a lot of money," said Elizabeth excitedly.
That struck him as curious.
"Why do they take the money?" I ask confused.
Although she did not spoil them too much so that they would not be spoiled, as she was at the time. She made sure to reward them well financially for their notes and give them money for useful things they needed. Most of the time I bought them books and musical instruments, on some birthday I agreed to give them video games.
At this time it was Leo who changed the magazine sheet.
A new virtual reality video game was shown, with great graphics and the perfect review.
-They say that as a shield there are human-sized hamster balls, we have a human-size Leo indicated accommodating his sun hat.
Pacifica simply decided to ignore that about her son, the best thing would be to start the tour to the lake without asking any more questions.
...
In the middle of a huge hill, was a great mansion. This was created under the lies of the "founder" of Gravity Falls, a Northwest. But after that first summer of the twin pins, the mansion had ended up in the hands of old McGucket. Although this man was always creating inventions that he sold to the government, he still behaved like a psychopath at times. Although now he looked more composed, perhaps because he had paid some doctors and psychologists.
His beard was no longer as long and he walked straighter, he wore some second-hand suits, because he hated the cloth that rich people wore. He helped the Stan brothers with some inventions on their travels and paid for their adventures, after all, they were old friends.
Now that Ford had published a series of books, thanks to his help, they were being sold as hotcakes. He could only rejoice when they returned to spend the summer at his side.
Soos had insisted that they stay in Mystery 2's hut, but since it was the two of them, Mabel and Dipper's family accepted their invitation to stay at the mansion.
They arrived a day before summer began.
Mabel came down in a beautiful purple dress, which made her rejuvenate for some years. But her low shoes and her side hairstyle made her look like a mature woman and above all, an adorable mother. She launched herself into hugging Stan as if she hadn't seen him in years and was still a twelve-year-old girl. The old curmudgeon who was always softened by the biggest of the mystery twins, just let her be.
"Welcome Matthew," said Ford to the man who got out of the car.
He was a tall man, with short black hair and a somewhat muscular body. Not so much to be a bodybuilder, but compared to Dipper, it was more square. He was dressed in a black T-shirt taped to his body and dark pants with military boots. His face was quite marked and there were large scars on his right hand, like a deep one at the base of his neck and cheek. Although he looked like a tough man, he vanished before the adorable baby in his hands.
"You too little Tyrone," said Ford, carrying the five-year-old baby.
The boy smiled childishly before hugging the lord.
With five years in his life, Tyrone was a very beautiful boy. His dark brown hair was somewhat tousled, his skin was not as white as his mother's, and he had a slightly darker color. He was wearing light pants with one of the sweaters his mother knitted for him, with a bear face on it.
"Uncle Ford," said the boy, his voice childish and animated.
The old man smiled before putting it on his shoulders.
After so many adventures, having lived in a different dimension and spending the rest of his years adventuring with his brother. He really seemed to have the vitality of a boy in his twenties, although while his bones were starting to hurt, there was still plenty of Stanford left for the world.
"Tyrone don't tire Uncle Ford much," Matt mused concerned.
But a drop of sweat ran down the nape of his neck when he saw how Mabel was on Stan's back, forcing him to piggyback her to another part of the mansion.
Her family was... special.
...
The lake of Gravity falls was huge, at least that's what Elizabeth and Leonardo thought, believing that there was definitely some monster in that place. Instead Pacifica looked at everything with nostalgia, vaguely remembering when Mabel convinced her to go to the island in the middle of the lake at midnight, as a test of courage along with Dipper, although she faithfully believed that it was to match her with her brother as a matchmaker . In the end it was all over with a giant monster about to eat them and a huge tooth stuck on shore.
The sound of the phone made Pacifica turn around confused.
As Elizabeth and Leonardo pulled out their backpacks, they stopped walking when they saw their mother struggling next to the phone.
-Today is my day off ... I do not care that it was your fault, today you start my vacation with my children ... I understand that this can ruin the parade but ... I already told you that I do not plan to go, that's why you should not blackmail me and ... DEATH LUCAS-shout the last thing hanging the phone.
Leo turned to look askance at his sister, she smiled with some resignation.
"Mom, don't worry, you should go," said the older man calmly.
Pacifica instead stiffened, vaguely remembering when she wanted to spend time with her family as a child and they always left her for work. She did not want to be the same, she was all that her children had. She saw them with a pained look.
But instead of the faces of reproach and sadness that she had with her parents, they tried to cheer her up.
-Leo and I can spend a while here before returning, also if you hurry we can get to see a mystery movie -Island assured with a slight smile.
Those children deserved heaven.
I hug them tightly before I leave him his wallet with money, I tell them to take the bus before it is night or call a taxi. He would try to come back for them sooner, but he knew that was difficult.
They watched as his mother's car disappeared into the distance, then they began their plans to rent a small boat and go take a picture. But after the person they were attending denied them passage because they were minors, they discovered that the Phineas and Ferb television program was very misleading.
So they ended up sitting on the shore with resignation, it was not even half a day and they should go home.
"We can go through pizza ... you know, bring something to mom," said Leo trying to cheer up his sister.
She smiled somewhat resignedly.
"Tomorrow we can do many great things," he said with new encouragement.
His twin smiled cheerfully, but before leaving, a thunderous sound made them get up. When they walked a little they noticed a huge boat, which seemed to be quite expensive and of the latest technology from the satellite that came out from its roof, where two people were who they immediately recognized.
"Mr. Ford," said Elizabeth excitedly.
He stopped complaining to his brother about the way he planned to drop the anchor, to turn to see the girl who was smiling animatedly.
"Well, but if it is little Elizabeth, I see that you had the same idea that we came to visit the lake," he said, releasing the anchor and it fell on Stan's foot.
Leo winced in pain.
"Who are you talking to, Uncle Ford?" Asked Mabel, coming out of the boat.
He stopped his steps outside when he saw the silhouette of both children, especially for seeing a pine hat on that girl's head, also noticing how the little boy's features became terribly familiar. She shook her head knowing that she was going crazy, Dipper had promised to go that summer, she shouldn't be imagining things.
-Hello children, I'm Mabel-she introduced herself pulling the rope ladder.
The children were suspicious.
"We have gummies with strawberry syrup filling," suggested the older chestnut.
"GREAT!" Leo said before running upstairs.
A drop of sweat ran down Elizabeth's neck before following him, he was one of her idols after all, nothing bad should go wrong. Also, if her mother didn't find out, there was no problem.
...
In the middle of the mall, Pacifica sneezed. She looked in all directions, but when she didn't see anyone speaking ill of her, she shrugged.
I pay for a new printer with the latest generation scanner, before leaving ready to go home and send my work as soon as possible.
...
Upon boarding the boat they discovered that everything was even more modern and technological than it seemed. Leonardo seemed to be in his home, because although Elizabeth was good at the computer part, the boy had that passion that his sister lacked to be even better. Ford gave them a little tour inside the boat, while they both seemed full of curiosity.
Mabel introduced you to her husband and their young son.
Tyrone.
The boy, although he used to be quite shy, had taken a kind of admiration for Leonardo, so he followed him as if he were a little duckling. Maybe the talent for attracting people was what made the older twin so good at treating children.
Everyone laughed when Leo took Tyrone on his shoulders and started running overboard, pretending he was flying on a plane.
Although Elizabeth only related well to Ford, she tried to be nice to the rest of the people. Mabel smiled charmingly when she offered food, Matthew was the one sailing the boat on the lake, and Stan argued with his twin brother.
They were a nice family.
He looked over the edge of the boat, he didn't remember much of his maternal grandparents, it's not like he wanted to remember long after the last time he had seen them.
"You are thoughtful girl," said a voice behind him.
I turn to see Ford pass him a can of soda, I accept it with a smile seeing the strawberry flavor in the can. His favorite. He opened the can trying to delay the conversation as long as possible, while he saw the figures of the water as they passed by the boat.
His mother liked water very much.
-I wish Mom were here, everything by her side is always warmer-I mutter under my breath before smiling.
She remembered the time she and her brother had put algae in her mom's hair. She had been so angry that she had tormented them with a crab for an hour, had done nothing wrong to them, but the trauma remained in their minds. Just like her mother's disgust every time she saw algae.
"Surely she must be thinking of you too," the man muttered in a friendly way.
It was true.
Her mother always thought of them.
And tomorrow they would have a great day of adventure.
"Your family is great, Mr. Ford," added Elizabeth, trying to talk.
He clearly agreed with her, but she noticed how that man's eyes turned nostalgic as he looked in the direction of the mountain.
"I wish I would have noticed long ago," I whisper causing confusion in her.
"BEWARE!" A familiar voice shouted.
Suddenly a piece of cake hit his face. She removed the chocolate decoration from her eyes, to see with anger Leo who was laughing. Her brother was full of different colors just like Tyrone, they both screamed like babes before running when they saw Elizabeth with a lifeguard who now looked very threatening.
The adults laughed when they saw them play together.
Mabel snapped a photo, before looking curiously at Leo's smiling face.
So familiar.
But at the same time different.
"TIME TO FISH!" Stan shouted causing laughter in the others.
While Ford was next to Elizabeth along with Tyrone showing them his new invention of fishing rope, Leo stopped his steps, which went along with the two minors, to see how Stan was in front of the boat with an old rope.
He let out a low breath, before walking in her direction.
"Hey old man!" I greet winning a strong blow with a fishing rod.
Leonardo growled under his breath, before shooting Stan a resentful look.
After he was next to that boring old man so as not to leave him alone, that way he thanked him. He turned his face to see how Mr. Ford's fantastic fishing rod (who no longer seemed like a boring old man when he saw all the technology he had) seemed to catch a fish like a hook and bring it to the surface. Now even Mabel and Matt were by his side taking pictures, while his younger sister asked to use that weapon.
-Go with them boy, your gaze shines to touch those things-muttered Stan pulling his fishing rod.
It was true, he had no reason to stay in that place.
He turned around, but stopped.
Images of Elizabeth came to his mind as a child, as always at school he received a strong bullying just for being smart and always going with books. He remembered with deadly seriousness the time some girls of the highest grade cut her hair and filled it with paint while she cried. Afterwards they passed several images of different schools every year, where history was repeated until it made her panic sometimes.
Always so lonely.
I glance askance at Stan, who seemed indifferent to loneliness ... but something inside him prevented him from leaving people like that alone.
He got on board right next to Stan, he looked at him incredulously.
Leo showed a self-sufficient smile, very Northwest-style.
-I see that you are afraid to teach a child to fish, you must be a complete loser-le transit with fun.
Stan's eyes raged for a few moments, but then with a smile similar to his, the talk about fishing started.
After half an hour of seeing how McGucket's new invention was now cooking fish perfectly, Elizabeth looked around for her brother. A big smile settled on her face when she saw her laugh with Stan, both full of worms and fighting in a childish way, suddenly her brother's rope seemed to move and both tried to hold it.
But the fish seemed to fight.
Suddenly Stan and Leo's body was propelled out of the boat.
"LEO / STANLEY!" Elizabeth and Ford shouted at the same time.
Suddenly something seemed to go under the boat, as it gave a strange movement. While Mabel held Tyrone tight, Matt ran to the helm to steady him. Elizabeth and Ford ran to the edge of the boat to search for their respective brothers.
Only to discover that from the water, you could only see the fishing cap that Leo wore that day.
Elizabeth's face was deformed in terrible anguish, before a kind of mythological being emerged from the water with a fishing rod stuck in her mouth, preventing her from swallowing her brother completely. On the neck of the bluish beast, which had a long neck with a scar under it and a somewhat robust body, was Stan hitting the creature's face hard.
"You will not eat this sea beast boy," he said, tapping something golden in his hands.
They plunged into the water again, watching the shadow drift away.
A bead of sweat ran down Elizabeth's nape, instead Ford whistled.
"ACCELERA MATT!" I shout to the command center.
Matt's hand made a high thumb before the boat was thrown. Mabel quickly went into hiding with her husband, not because she was afraid, but to protect little Tyrone who saw everything with a sparkle in his eyes.
"We busied stopping the beast-whisper Ford by pulling out his new fishing rod."
At the flip of a switch, it transformed into a giant hook. At the tip it seemed to have a kind of pint that had a huge hook.
Elizabeth whistled in shock.
Minutes later they saw the monster come out again, this time Stan had Leo by the waist, but the monster now with blood in his mouth, from his own wounds, seemed to want to eat them.
Ford got into position to shoot, with perfect aim, the hook hitting the creature's open mouth that nearly ate the men. But this creature began to pull in the opposite direction to want to get free, the rope began to untie at the base of the weapon.
"Oh no!" Whispered Ford, trying to send an electric touch, but the circuits still didn't seem to be ready.
Elizabeth noticed how on the back of the beast, Stan had a right arm full of blood, the other with which he carried Leo also seemed slightly wounded. That meant she couldn't protect her brother much longer.
She had no weapon or way to help her, the journal was in the backpack in the cabin, but she had no time to seek help.
Then I notice more clearly the wound in the neck of the beast, an idea came to his mind.
He held tight a loose iron tube from the boat, which was so thanks to the previous pursuit. She ran with speed in the direction of the fishing rod. Ford guessed her thoughts, but was helpless when she grabbed the end of the rope and was quickly propelled as it yielded.
The monster pulled with such force that the rope snapped, causing her to be propelled in his direction.
"TSUKI!" He shouted as he placed the iron tube as if it were his kendo weapon.
Points to the throat were generally not allowed in Kendo, but since he was fighting a sea monster, he didn't see much of a problem.
The metal was with a small hook, which seemed to cut part of the neck in a horrible wound that did not stop bleeding. It was as if an old wound had reopened.
Following his path, he ended up in the water, which was now stained with the greenish blood of the being. Stan and Leo were also thrown into the water. Outside on the surface the monster sobbed in pain, but it was apparently just a painful, non-fatal wound. Likewise the monster sped away underwater.
Elizabeth came to the surface with shortness of breath, quickly followed by Leo and Stan.
Moments later in the boat.
Stan was being bandaged by Ford, while Elizabeth was trying to clean some scratches on Leo's face. But there was a small scar under her jaw that seemed to leave a mark. Mabel was trying to explain to the lake warden why the boat was somewhat destroyed.
Instead Tyrone was staring at where the younger twins were.
"Without a doubt the best fishing in the world, Stan you are amazing" Leo said almost ignoring the number of blows to his body.
The old man instead just smirked.
-When a mythical monster attacks, there is nothing better than a few blows to its face to make it clear who is in command -exposed animated to have a follower.
After all, Leo's face when he saw Stan was completely admired, very similar to Elizabeth's when he saw Ford.
"But despite my heroic act, who wins the prize is this girl," said Stan, reaching out his bandaged arm to ruffle the hair of a confused Elizabeth-girl, you are certainly someone great, "he added with a half smile.
Elizabeth's eyes sparkled.
"It is true, it is not normal to see a pair of children as brave as you," added Ford after finishing bandaging.
This time Elizabeth's eyes shone brighter, although she liked the fact that Stan praised her, that her idol told her something of that quality, was enough to make her float through the clouds. While Mabel came to say how great everything had been, from afar Leo looked at everything somewhat touched.
Elizabeth was laughing excitedly surrounded by people.
He was so happy for her, it had been a long journey to see her again full of confidence and enjoy around other people. Although for that they had occupied a monster that had tried to devour him.
He remembered something in that instant.
He had not taken the photograph.
His spirits waned, but he stopped thinking that when someone tugged on his pants. A small Tyrone saw him with bright eyes.
"They are so cool!" Muttered the boy with a childish smile.
Leo smiled softly before moving the boy's hair.
The day had not been entirely bad.
...
When Pacifica finished her work at last, she left her room looking terrified, it was already seven in the afternoon. Surely she would not give her time to reach the lake, under the stairs cursing Lucas for not being able to do her job well, little incompetent who wanted to drown with a poisoned blackberry. The worst was when this guy thought that flirting would do whatever he wanted, what she wanted was to put a shoe up his ass.
He stopped his steps when passing through the living room, because in the middle of the sofa was Leo with new bandages, totally asleep with his head on the back, Elizabeth instead had her head on the boy's legs, hugging a kind of souvenir plush . The stuffed animal was bluish and had a silhouette similar to the monster that had faced each other along with the Pines brothers some years ago.
I sigh relieved to see them at home.
He had been very irresponsible that day with them.
Carefully I take Elizabeth's body in her arms, before taking a step, I notice how Leo woke up with a yawn and followed her without saying much. In the attic he put the girl's body on his bed, who did not seem to get up.
When he went to wrap Leo, he took her hand.
"Don't worry about today-a huge yawn-tomorrow will be more fun together," he added before closing his eyes.
Pacifica shook her head and a half smile, despite Leo's age and most of the time, childish attitude. She knew that this was someone quite mature at times and that she cared a lot about them, she knew it was partly her fault that her attitude had drastically changed, but he denied it.
It was time to stop thinking about it.
With a kiss on both children's foreheads, he prepared to go eat and watch some television. It was today when the Patodetective chapter was repeated, of how the penguin Steve returned to help in a crucial mission to the duck.
He stopped his steps when he reached the living room, a strange presentiment made him turn his face towards the mountain. A chill that had left his entire body cold. But I quickly discard the first idea that came to mind, after all... Bill had long since been defeated.
...
Elsewhere in the city, in the old Northwest mansion. A 4x4 car stopped at the entrance, from this a brown-haired man in semi-formal clothes got off. He lowered his dark glasses to see how impressed that place seemed to still be in perfect shape.
-It's been a while ... Gravity falls-I mumble by under Dipper Pines.
From the entrance, Mabel was seen leaving with a huge smile, before jumping to hug her brother tightly.
At the entrance it was seen how Stan and Ford looked at everything with approving smiles, next to these appeared a tall man with short black hair, with a small brown boy of five years in his hands and a curious somewhat dark nose.
Let the summer begin he thought a stone in the shape of a triangle, in the middle of an abandoned part of the forest.
