The encounter between Wonwoo and Jeongin last time sparked a hesitation in Wonwoo's heart. Who was right? Who was wrong? Did 'they' find Jeongin or did he find 'them'? Maybe Jeongin was just a clueless boy that didn't know what was happening to him.

So, they planned to spy on the boy after school. Creepy, I know. But Wonwoo wanted to know how Jeongin acted when there's no one around him. And here Mingyu was. Standing behind the wall watching the boy from afar like a creep. Wonwoo told his boyfriend to go first since he needed to wake up the stubborn Hansol. Seungkwan always told them how difficult it was to wake Hansol up in the morning. It's already afternoon by the way.

A few blocks passed and Mingyu still didn't find anything unusual about the boy. Perhaps because he couldn't see the unusual thing. Jeongin turned at a corner and Mingyu fastened his walk a bit to catch up with the boy. But suddenly, something hard hit his leg. Winched a bit, Mingyu sat on the ground, rubbing his leg.

"Why are you following my friend? Are you gonna kidnap him?" Hyunjin held a baseball bat in front of Mingyu's face.

Spontaneously, Mingyu raised both of his hands like a criminal when police pointed a gun at him. Hyunjin looked like he was ready to fight the man that was twice or maybe three times bigger than him.

"Wait, wait. No. I didn't want to kidnap your friend!" Mingyu said.

"Then, why are you following him?" Hyunjin stepped forward. Mingyu jumped a bit by the threat from the little boy.

"No, I'm not."

"Yes, you are!"

"Hyunjin! No!" Hansol ran towards the two and stood between them.

Wonwoo came right after and kneed beside Mingyu, checking his condition. Hyunjin frowned as he looked at Jeongin's older cousin.

"Hyung? What are you doing here? Why are you defending that creep?" Hyunjin asked Hansol.

"It's your fault, Wonwoo. If you're here sooner, none of this will happen. I don't deserve to be treated like this." Mingyu whined. Wonwoo rolled his eyes at Mingyu's dramatic ass.

"Wonwoo?" Hyunjin tilted his head a bit as he looked at the boy with glasses.

"Are you the one that Jeongin talked about?" he asked.

"What did he talk about me?" Wonwoo asked back.

"Why are you friends with him? He tried to kidnap Jeongin." Hyunjin pointed at Mingyu.

"Are you all working together?" he immediately raised his bat again.

"What? No. We don't want to kidnap him." Hansol said.

"Okay, okay. How about we settle down? And we treat you to ice cream?" Wonwoo suggested.

Hyunjin frowned for a moment but agreed to it. He still held tight to the bat as they walked away. Mingyu hid behind Wonwoo as he eyed the boy. Who knew if Hyunjin suddenly decided to hit Mingyu again. They reached a small café nearby and sat at a table.

"Okay, before anything. These are my friends. Mingyu and Wonwoo. This is Hyunjin, Jeongin's friend." Hansol started.

"Hi, nice to meet you. Can you put the bat away from me?" Mingyu said sarcastically.

Wonwoo elbowed his boyfriend. The ice cream they ordered for Hyunjin arrived and the boy dug in immediately.

"So, Hyunjin. What did Jeongin tell you about me?" Wonwoo asked.

"But you probably won't believe me." Hyunjin said.

"I do believe in you. Because...I'm like Jeongin too." Wonwoo said and Hyunjin stopped eating.

"You can see ghosts like Jeongin?" and Wonwoo nodded.

Hyunjin went silent for a while. He seemed to be in deep thought. Hyunjin was hesitant to talk.

"No one believes in Jeongin when he says he can see ghosts. Even his parents. I am the only one that believes in him." Hyunjin started. Wonwoo exchanged looks with Mingyu.

"One day, he ended up in the hospital. And he told me that someone named Wonwoo saved him." Hyunjin looked at Wonwoo.

"Yes, I did save him at that time. But it seemed like not enough. That's why we're here. We want to help him. So we are collecting information first." Wonwoo said.

"Just go ask him. No need to follow him like a creep." Hyunjin looked at Mingyu. Mingyu rolled his eyes.

"That's the problem. I don't want to go to his house." Wonwoo said.

"After that incident, I'm afraid to go to his house too." chills went through Hyunjin's body.

"What incident?"

"I had a sleepover at his house one time..."

"T-then I got attacked by something. It's terrifying." Hyunjin slightly trembled. Hansol grabbed his shoulder to comfort him.

"You need to help him before it's too late." Hyunjin begged at Wonwoo.

He started to tell everything that Jeongin told him. About the 'friends' that Jeongin had. How Jeongin changed for the past few weeks. Everyone at school didn't want to be friends with Jeongin. After he spilled everything, they let him go home. Wonwoo let out a deep sigh.

"So, the thing that I'm trying to deny is true. The 'friends' that Hyunjin said are the demons. Jeongin involved himself around demons."

Hearing those things sent chills all over Mingyu's body. This was not what he expected to be. They didn't know what to do. They could just leave it to Father DaeGon to deal with it. They told the priest about the information they got, and he suggested starting tomorrow. Hansol talked to his aunt and it took a while to convince her. Who wanted to admit that their kid had something to do with demons?

---

"Are you sure you want to be here?" Mingyu asked his boyfriend as they parked in front of Jeongin's house.

"Exorcism can be terrifying. I watched it on YouTube." Hansol added.

"I know. That's why I want to be here. I'm curious." Wonwoo replied.

Wonwoo could feel the horrifying aura radiated from the house even by sitting in the car. They waited until Father DaeGon came. Jeongin was in his room but he could feel the threatening aura outside his house. It felt like Wonwoo, but the latter's aura was supposed to be calming, not spine-chilling like this. The 'crow' was with Jeongin and 'he' also felt threatened. So 'he' decided to do something with Jeongin.

The priest approached the door followed by Mingyu and Wonwoo. The door opened and Wonwoo literally gulped as he could feel the aura getting worse. His feet glued to the ground until Mingyu grabbed him. When Wonwoo stepped his leg into the house, a few frames on the wall started to shake ever so slightly.

"Woah, what's with that?" Hansol asked. He stood closer to Wonwoo.

"'They' are fighting with my aura. 'They' know I'm here." Wonwoo whispered to Mingyu.

Jeongin's mom told them that her son was upstairs. There was some unpleasant face she got there. Father DaeGon confidently stepped forward as he approached the room. Wonwoo was still close behind him. Hansol decided to stay downstairs with his aunt.

The priest opened the door and Wonwoo widened his eyes. Jeongin was sitting on his bed, a thick black aura around him. He was not like this when Wonwoo met him. Jeongin looked at the three with slight fear in his eyes.

"There's 'something' inside him." Wonwoo said.

Father DaeGon started to recite verses from the bible. Wonwoo became slightly shaking as he looked at the aura around Jeongin and it kept getting bigger and bigger. He grabbed Mingyu's hand. Suddenly, the priest took out a small bottle from his pocket and splashed the liquid at the boy. With that Jeongin started to scream hysterically as he rolled on the bed. Father got closer to him and grabbed his head, pinning him to the bed. The scream got louder as the citation got louder even more. Wonwoo covered his ears as the noise that came from Jeongin was hurting him. The others might hear the boy screaming but for Wonwoo, he heard the howl of the demon instead. Mingyu grabbed his boyfriend and hugged him tightly.

Suddenly, a visible black smoke could be seen coming out of Jeongin. Mingyu gasped at the view. This was his first time seeing something like this. The priest didn't stop his recitation. But as time went by, the man got weaker as he lacked out of energy while Jeongin kept getting stronger. Wonwoo knew if things kept going like this, it would get worse.

"What's your name?!" Wonwoo shouted.

Sudden courage got into Wonwoo as he approached the poor boy.

"What's your name?!" Wonwoo asked again. The priest looked at him.

"Marid!"

"CRUX SACRA SIT MIHI LUX! VADE RETRO SATANA MARID! IPSE VENENA BIBAS!" Wonwoo said as he placed his hand above Jeongin.

The scream stopped as Wonwoo got pushed by some mysterious force and fell on the floor. Wonwoo could see a black smoke flew out of the window before Mingyu came running to him. Jeongin fainted as his body turned weak. Father DaeGon frowned at what just happened. He did nothing but a containment. Wonwoo did the exorcism.

"How did you know to do that?" the priest asked.

"I-I heard it in one of my dreams." Wonwoo answered.

Did he do something wrong?

"Not everyone can do that type of exorcism. It's required a lot of divinity within someone." The priest explained.

Wonwoo frowned. Divinity? Me? A gay man? Wonwoo asked himself. He always acknowledged himself as someone that was not a Godman. He never involved himself in religious things. So how?

"It's done now. The devil had been expelled. Thanks to you." Father DaeGon said.

Mingyu helped Wonwoo stand up as they left the room. Mrs. Yang saw the three and ran to the room to check her son.

"What happened to him?" she asked.

"He's alright. Let him rest. It's done now." The priest answered.

Tears rolled down Mrs. Yang's face as she thanked the priest and Wonwoo. She apologized to Wonwoo for not believing him. Wonwoo just stood there with hesitation in his heart. Did it really end? Like this? What was that black smoke?

The priest left and so did the three friends. Hansol thanked Wonwoo for the millionth time for doing all this for Jeongin. They arrived at the motel and Wonwoo grabbed Mingyu when they entered their room.

"Something is not right. Is this the end?" Wonwoo asked.

"I don't know either. But the priest said that it's done. So maybe we should believe in him. He's expert in these things after all." Mingyu said.

"Stop being paranoid. Everything is going to be alright. Now let's pack up. I can't wait to leave this place." Mingyu continued.

Wonwoo nodded. He just brushed off the hesitation. Maybe Mingyu's right about him being paranoid.

---

Night came as Jeongin searched around the backyard. He was looking for something. He still had time. He woke up that evening and couldn't find his 'friend', the 'crow' at all. His mom cried her eyes out because Jeongin was alright. Everything was gonna be just fine now. Or was it?

Jeongin saw the 'thing' he's been searching for behind the tree. He ran to 'him' and saw his 'friend' was at the urge of death.

"Read the chant I teach you." the 'crow' said. Jeongin nodded.

"Shadow dark and grief,

Surrender all to me,

Let the darkness grow..." Jeongin stopped for a bit and smirked.

"...end your destiny." The 'crow' howled in pain. Jeongin continued.

"Offer your filthy soul,

Bend it to my will,

Release the wicked curse,

And give your soul to me!"

Jeongin grabbed the 'crow' and held it in the air. Suddenly the 'bird' started to vaporize. It's like Jeongin was absorbing 'him'. Within a few seconds, the 'crow' vanished into the thin air as Jeongin's eyes turned fully black. He raised both of his hands as he looked at the moon. His eyes turned back to normal. He got up and went back into the house.

nineteen~ 🤘🏻

I used to be in a relationship back in school with this person (the last relationship I've ever had until now. I've been single way too long). it didn't end really well. and I'm not sure if it end bad as well. it just end. Being with them, thought me the meaning of love. always ready to sacrifice for someone you loved. I've been in a relationship with a few people before them but they affected me the most. we loved each other so much back then. i always thought that our relationship would last long. then, they graduated and at some time, they just...disappeared. no explanation and everything. I can't reach out to them in every way. in the end, I had to let them go in a hard and painfully way. make me question myself. what did i do wrong? was I not enough? did I love you less? they just ghosting me without any explanation.

so I added more to the thing that I learned about love. always ready to sacrifice for someone you loved. but not everything. and don't be to certain because if you lose everything, they might leave you.

anyway enjoy this

we all know you want to hug him so bad Mingyu. don't restrain yourself
