Dear Diary
These last few days have been absolutely insane. It went from going to Tyler's hometown for a peaceful and cheerful christmas break to getting stuck in family drama from Haiyley's engagement to fighting with a duck and finally to Tyler saying the L word to me. Crazy I know. Did I say it back to him? I panicked before bursting out into a fit of laughter. Tyler of course thought it wasn't appropriate and was a little upset but he reassured me that he isn't pressuring me to say it back to him. Am I in love with him? I don't know. There's a thin line between having strong feelings for someone and actually being in love with them. I just have to figure it out. Meanwhile mom called me on christmas day and freaked out on me for not coming home. Nothing out of the usual. Now I'm sitting in the car with Tyler on our way back to campus to meet up with Emily and the rest of the people to head over to our little get away for the next couple of days. I haven't seen Emily since I witnessed her getting dirty with Parker... Wish me luck.

As we drive in on campus I can feel my insides turning into a knot.
Why am I nervous?
You did see your best friend having sex.
My conscience has a point.
I shiver as the images begin flooding back into my head from having to witness that.
" Ally? You look like you've seen a ghost." Tyler laughs.
" I wish that was the case."
We drive into the parking lot of my building. Tyler helps me unload my luggage and carry it up to my dorm. I haven't bumped into Emily... Yet.
" I'll see you in a little bit babe. " Tyler greets before leaving a kiss on my cheek and dissappearing out of the dorm.
Not shortly after I hear the door knob turn and in comes Emily and Parker. Emily giggles before smashing her lips on Parker's. Neither of them notice me as they continue on frightening me until I clear my throat.
" Oh - Ally - hey." Emily laughs awkwardly.
The atmosphere is awkward as the three of us stand there and stare at each other. I have to hold back a gag every time an image pops back up in my head. I need a mind eraser.
" So uh how was the trip with Tyler? " Parker asks trying to clear the awkward atmosphere.
I nod my head not being able to form any words.
" That's good-" Emily starts but I cut her off when I lift up my hand.
" I'll be back in a few minutes. Tyler is on his way. " I say before exiting the dorm.
God that was awkward.
I busy myself by walking over to Dommy's Cafe to grab an iced coffee before heading back to my building. I stop by at the girl living across from the dorm who usually does my laundry for me to unload most of my dirty clothes that came from the trip Tyler and I just got back from. It isn't a huge pile of clothes seeing as the help washed most of it but there were still a few clothes that were dirty. Don't worry, I left the girl a $20 bill before returning back to my dorm.
" Are you girls ready?" Tyler asks as he enters the dorm.
" I'm here too you know." Parker adds.
" So?" Tyler shrugs.
I pack the last of my things before Tyler and I start carrying my luggage to my car. Seeing as we are a few people we are going down with 3 cars. Emily, Samantha and Trish will be going with me. Parker and Mason will be going with Tyler. Zac and Jackson are coming together along with Jackson's new girl who I haven't met. All in all this upcoming few days are going to be a blast.
" Drive safely. We'll stop at the first gas station." Tyler greets as he opens my car door for me and allows me to climb into the drivers seat. He gives me a quick kiss before closing the door and walking over to his car where Mason is already waiting with his phone pressed against his ear.
Does he really need to come?
" I'll see you later." I hear Emily whisper to Parker before she gives him a long and soggy kiss. Parker opens the passenger door for her to climb in and closes it before walking over to Tyler's car.
I start the engin and drive off towards Trish's building where both she and Samantha are waiting for my arrival.
" Hey guys. Excited for the trip?" I greet them as I climb out of my car.
" I'm stoked." Trish answers with a wide smile.
" I kind of miss your braces." Emily comments.
She looked good with braces but I like seeing her bright wide smile. It's like once the braces are removed they don't stop smiling.
We help them load in their luggage before we're off on the road. I just came back from an 8 hour road trip and now I'm driving another 7 hours all the way to South Carolina.
I apologize to my butt cheeks for putting them in such pain.
" I think I'm in love." Emily blurts out all of the sudden.
My foot hits hard on the brake causing the car to stop fast and everyone to fall forward.
" Excuse me?"
" Oh hell no."
" Sweet."
We all say at the same time.
After Emily finishes catching her breath from the sudden stop she turns to look at our shocked faces.
" Don't be like this." she whines.
" Didn't you and asswipe just spilt up? " Samantha asks confused.
" Yeah so? I'm moving on." Emily states.
" What happened between you and Ashton? You guys were so cute." Trish wonders out loud.
The car falls silent after Trish's question. I look over at Emily with a worried expression. I know she isn't ready to talk about what happened between the two of them and the only reason why Parker, Tyler and I know is because of the anesthesia.
" We just didn't feel a spark anymore." Emily shrugs.
If only that was the reason.
Trish and Samantha nod in understanding.
" Parker is way hotter than asswipe." Samantha comments.
" Babe!" Trish scolds her girlfriend and playfully punches her in the arm.
" He's not my type. He has a dick. I like - "
" Okay let's continue with our road trip." I interrupt Samantha. I quickly start the car and turn the volume up so that the music can block out whatever is coming out of Samantha's mouth.
No need for details.
We sing along to old hits that include of One Direction, T-Swift and of course, Justin Bieber. Not that I listen to any of their music anymore but it brings back a lot of memories.
We stopped at the first gas station to meet up with everyone and grab some snacks. I struggled to get Emily away from Parker and back into the car. They're like magnets when they are together. I'm happy for her but I do not want to witness them sucking out each other's souls every few seconds.
And so the road trip continues. My body had no energy left so I switched places with Samantha so that she could drive. I don't trust Emily at all and Trish doesn't have a license.
8 hours later - due to having to stop every hour because Trish has a bladder infection - we finally arrive in South Carolina. It is raining by the time we pull up into the driveway of our rental house. Hopefully the weather clears up a little bit while we are here. I don't want to be trapped in the house the entire time.
" Emily go unlock the door. We'll fetch the luggage when the weather clears up." Samantha instructs as we come to a stop in front of a 3-car-garage.
The rest of the cars pull up beside us as Emily hops out of the car and runs over to the stairs leading up to the front door with the keys in her hand. She gives us a signal that the door is open and one by one we all run into the house.
From what I could see through the rain the rental house is like your typical beach house. White wooden walls with a covered porch going around the house and a well maintained garden.
The interior is beyond what words can describe. So much white in one room. It's going to be hard to keep the furniture this white. When you enter the front door the living room is the first thing you see. It's a large open plan that consists of the living room in front of us and a kitchen on our right hand side. It's all very modern. What makes it even more breathtaking is the view of the ocean in front of us. The rental house is a few feet away from the beach itself. You can literally walk outside of the house and stand with your feet in the sand. If the weather clears up that will be a big bonus for us.
" There's a jaquzzi on the porch." Emily states as everyone takes in the interior of the house.
My eyes meet Tyler's sparkling ones.
I know what you are thinking...
Nope not thinking anything.
" Wait up for us!" I hear Mason's irritating voice.
My eyes roam over everyone in the room. It looks like everyone is here besides Mason.
Who's us?
"Move your ass!"
Oh God.
Not her.
Please not her.
It's bad enough that Mason is here but not her.
I stare wide eyed as she stumbles into the room with big round sunglasses on her face and a floppy beige hat on her head. I swear I can see Emily stiffen from the corner of my eye.
" Gabby." I hear Emily growl.
" What the hell is she doing here?" Trish snaps not sparing Gabby a glance.
I would like to know as well.
Last I remembered she wasn't part of this group anymore.
" I invited her." Mason shrugs as if it's no big deal.
It is a big deal.
" Oh hell no. "
" For the love of my sanity get her away from me."
" If she blinks I will attack."
" Did someone bring a shovel?"
" Can she sleep outside?"
Everyone lifts their opinions at the same time while I just try to keep myself from attacking her. I don't like her at all and I'm sure 99% of the people agree with me. The remaining 1% is Mason. He most likely only invited her as a hookup.
" Guys relax. I don't bite." Gabby giggles.
" I do." I say through gritted teeth.
Gabby's eyes widen as she takes a step back behind Mason.
That's right. Hide you little son of a-
" Just ignore the snake. She's not going to ruin our trip." Emily announces when everyone starts talking among each other.
It's going to be hard to ignore her when she's all up in my face. I watch as her eyes travel over Tyler. She bites her lower lip once she's done eye raping the poor guy.
My hands form into fists. Tyler wraps his arm around my waist. He probably saw me tense up. If it wasn't for him standing next to me Gabby would be on her way to the hospital.
"Alright everyone. There are 3 rooms down stairs and 3 rooms upstairs-"
" We'll take the master bedroom." Gabby interrupts Emily.
The nerve this girl has. She wasn't even invited to start with and now she wants the master bedroom? I know it's only a bedroom but it's going to irritate me knowing that Gabby is staying in there.
" The master bedroom is Samantha and Trish's because it's their anniversary in 4 days so you'll just have to - oh I don't know, sleep outside." Emily bites back.
I try to not laugh but a little snort comes out. I hear a few other snorts before Emily clears her throat to start talking again.
" Now that that is settled let's continue. Jackson you and Kylie will take one of the rooms upstairs and Ally, you and Tyler can take the other room upstairs if you want to."
I look over at Tyler. He shrugs as an answer giving me clarification that he doesn't mind sleeping in the same room as me. I nod my head in Emily's direction before she continues.
" Parker and I will take one of the rooms downstairs. Mason and Gabby unfortunately will be taking a room as well and it will be the one furthest from my room. Zac you have the pleasure of sleeping on your own in the remaining room or if you want you could always sleep on the couch - "
" The room will be just fine. " Zac quickly answers.
A bright smile crosses over Emily's face. She looks out over the room and then back at us. We all stand and wait in anticipation for something to come out of her mouth. Man this girl likes to be dramatic.
" Let the fun begin. " Emily states.
Oh boy.
